Landed there by chance on the tour and have to say it's worth stopping there.. It is a little smaller but you can still enjoy a very nice and well preserved view. Great views and great hiking and biking trails. Worth a visit in every season. There are several parking spots and tracks, so you can vary the length of the tour. The tracks are designed differently so that every fitness level will find the right track. In good weather, climbers can also be seen on the rocks.

I thoroughly enjoy walking around this castle ruin and seeing the panoramic views of the town and countryside below. A short 10 minute drive from Wiesensteig. Very quaint area and beautiful hillsides and rolling farmlands. Not many people so it felt as the place was our own.

Easy walk from the parking lot. Gorgeous views from the cliffs and inside the castle. Hold on to small kids though, there are some places along the ledge that are dangerous. 👇Please follow for more vids and pics 👇 📺 @destinationeverywhere 👍 @comeseeitall 🎵 @we_explore_everywhere 📷 @we.explore.everywhere

It is a short walk from the parking lot to the castle. The ruins are really beautiful and fun to explore. The castle itself is set on a hill with really beautiful views of the surrounding area.

Very interesting ruin that was sadly partially closed upon my visit. Still, we could visit the most amazing parts of it and enjoy fantastic view upon the valley below. You can also climb some rocks if you dare walk close to the edge. It is worth it because the views from this place are simply amazing.

Super good view from castle top 🏰. Good place to go in summer, autumn, spring. In winter for better view/Aussicht 📸🔭wait for little sunshine 🌄☀ :) otherwise mostly covered with fog. 🚷🚸Notice the signs about falling stones 🚷🚸

Very nice place to go for a small hike or a walk. Nearby parking, small rest area with couple tables. Beautiful view down on the valley, we even had a chance to watch a lady cross 50m to the castle on a slackline. Very impressed with this place

Breath taking ruins! Very high and in great condition. There is also a rock climbing area. The surrounding view is astounding and also an easy trip to go with a s/o or the kids. Very close by is also a picnic and grill spot.

Classic Castle. Parking lot near by with a reasonable walk. Lovely views. This a great place to visit.

Super nice castle ruins, but really small so when there are more than 10 people it already gets crowded. There is also a cliff that is unsafe as its not even shielded, any kid could fall dozens of meters down the cliff. We saw some people practicing rapelling and near of it, theres a waterfall

1st time visiting a castle/ fortress like this. Amazing views and appeal! If you have kids going with you, be sure to keep them away from the drop-offs. Not to far of a walk from the parking lot. Lots of trails to explore as well.

Magnificent medieval castle ruin towering on top of a high rock right on the edge of the Swabian Jura (Schwäbische Alb) near Kirchheim unter Teck with spectacular views of the surrounding area
