Great atmosphere with great service, however, for the price of the food I expected that it would taste better. My first visit here and I wasn't totally impressed. The group I was with stated the chef must of been having an "Off" night. The French Onion Soup along the cocktail that I had did leave a Very Good Taste in my mouth.

My husband and I went here for a date night. We had reservations at 8:15, but the bar was open and we decided to eat there. The service and atmosphere were great! Guests were drinking and eating—it was a lively place. Our food was delivered at a good pace, and everything was excellent. We shared a meatball appetizer and a wedge salad. Then I had Beef Kabobs and my husband had Roasted Half Chicken with Mac and Cheese. We split a piece of Peanut Butter Pie. All the bartenders were friendly and attentive. They made me a Cosmo the I had a French Martini—both were excellent. This was a great choice for dinner!!!

Had a lovely birthday dinner here. I got the Allen Brothers Ny strip with the macaroni and cheese. It was so delicious!!! They do give rolls and butter and the butter taste sweet and is so good. I got a non-alcoholic mint mojito and it was refreshing and had the perfect amount of mint. Our server was attentive and I got a complementary dessert for my birthday.

So when I tell you this place is AMAZING and everything I hoped it would be. It started out a little slow, we arrived and we were immediately welcomed in and seated. However we waited a bit before someone came to acknowledge us or even give us water. So as I began to watch my clock, because I was preparing us to leave. An Amazing waiter by the name of Kevin rushed in and saved the evening. It was our 5 year wedding anniversary and he really made it a celebration. From the offering of explanation of the menu, to multiple apologies in the over site to amazing suggestions and just enough checking on us. The food is amazing here from the appetizers down to the ice cream. Even a manager came over with apologies as well as the water guy.😁 they definitely made it right. And someone blessed us and covered our check. we always wear our wedding attire to dinner on our anniversary so they wanted to help us celebrate 🤗🤗🤗 Patiece does pay and an apology goes a long way. Thanks Kevin we will definitely be back, the oysters, shaved beef appetizer and prime ribeye was DELICIOUS. Happy and Thanful The Rattler's

Very Rustic looking place with lovely features to the Barn . A full packed crowd for Wednesday. We had lobster bisque and a NY strip steak . Both were delicious. Any whiskey person a must go to try their own style of whiskey which they change every 6 months. We loved the service too. Very informative with whiskey selection. Overall a definite must try place.

Found this eatery on a couple of websites and Google maps and it was highly recommended! Our server Grace was excellent! She was pleasant, helpful, and very knowledgeable!!! She helped us have a perfect meal! If you're checking out the barn please request her!!! We started with the onions rings, split a Caesar Salad, and each had a steak entree. I enjoyed the dry aged bone in Kansas City Strip and my wife enjoyed the bacon wrapped Filet. We had the brussel sprouts, steakhouse corn, and Mac and cheese. Everything was excellent!!!! I ordered my steak rare plus and it was cooked perfectly! We finished our birthday celebration with a piece of the house made peanut butter pie! This was a great meal with exceptional service and atmosphere. I look forward to coming back on our next trip to Ohio!

We enjoyed Father's Day brunch at The Barn!!! Everything was exceptional! Seated on the patio in the back we were able to take advantage of the fabulous weekend weather along with buffet serving line nearby. Some of the featured items were grilled lambchops, prime rib and many other meat selections, charred broccoli, lots of fresh fruits, various drink choices, many breakfast items with made to order omelets, an array.of dessert items and of course their notable coconut cake. What a feast!! On top of all that, they have an awesome Bloody Mary Bar!

Very nice place, great food and drinks. It's a little high because it a 5 star restaurant. You get what you pay for. I don't have a problem paying the prices because the service great, the food great, it's a clean restaurant. It's very laid back. I of columbus ohio best restaurants. Try it for yourself.

This place was SO DELICIOUS!! Me and boyfriend went here to celebrate our 6 month anniversary. Our sever Noah was very informing about the restaurant, menu, and food selections. The appetizer we had was dry aged meatballs. Very delicious. As well as the bread and salad. The steaks we had were massive!! Well seasoned and cooked just as we asked. We decided to take our dessert to go, which was very delicious. (Chocolate cake). We also had a little surprise in the box when we opened it!! very very sweet of the restaurant! Definitely will be back again and asking for Noah next time as our server. He was so sweet.

We went to the Barn last night for a special occasion. It was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. It all started with the atmosphere, which is fantastic. Casey took care of us and made sure every request was fulfilled…she was great. Highly recommend making The Barn your next evening out. We are going to become regulars.

Awesome place!! Great atmosphere, amazing food. Came down from Northern Ohio for daugters 15th bday. Spent the weekend down there and stopped for brunch on Sunday before we left. I'm so glad we did! Our waitress was great! Even gave her a free dessert for her birthday. Definitely worth the drive!

Great happy hour, great service, delicious steak and drinks - for someone who take smoking and grilling meats pretty serious, I generally snub steak houses because I can usually do it better; however, Cameron Mitchell restaurants are usually pretty solid. Hard to beat steak broiled at 1200 degrees, it comes out cooked exactly to request, with a nice little bark on the outside - the Allen Brothers NY Strip Oscar Style was wonderful and cooked to perfection. Garlic mashed potatoes were light, fluffy and flavorful. Calamari was fresh and tasty, as was the marinara and remoulade dipping sauces. Great experience, will be back!

The food was just OK. For the price I was expecting it to be better. Filet was just OK as were the sides. The service was outstanding and out waitress was extremely attentive which was great. My drink tasted good but it was 90% ice. Again, it wasn’t horrible but I think there are better options considering the price.

Benson was our server and he was delightful from the moment we sat down. He was very attentive. Food was great. Season well. Prime rib was nice. Chicken was juicy. Shrimp needed to be unshelled. But all and all this was a nice brunch location.

Nice vibes and good service but for the price, I expected a much higher quality in food. Steak was cooked super rare & tasted like butter only. Beef kabobs were good but rice was hard & sauce was awful addition. Could definitely go without it.

Outstanding service, interesting decor, inviting atmosphere, but average cuisine. This restaurant does look like a barn inside and out, however the style is cozy and creates a very pleasant ambience to dine. The standout for our dinner was the service. The server was a true professional, very knowledgeable and provided a truly great experience. The pace of the dinner was just right, he was there when he was needed and never when not. Well done. Same thing I cannot say for the food. The appetizer calamari was forgettable and the dry aged Kansas city strip cooked "chefs choice" was bland and lacked flavor. Not bad or per se, but was expecting more. Wife had similar feedback for her regular strip cut. On the plus side, I was served one of the most delicious loaded baked potatoes ever. Did not get desert this time, but will try on next visit. Also, the cocktails were every good, loved the smoking Sazerac! Overall it's a fine choice for dinner, I would definitely give it another try soon.

My husband and I adore The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek! We’ve now been twice and both experiences were absolutely wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful! Our past visit was to celebrate our anniversary. Our server Leslie was lovely, attentive and welcoming. She also gave really great descriptions of menu items, which is always so appreciated. For an appetizer we got the Dry-Aged Meatballs. The meatballs themselves were flavorful and the sauce added the perfect compliment. The garlic cheese bread (similar to crostini) were a delight as well! Next I had the Wedge Salad and my husband had the French Onion Soup. Both were delicious - I really loved the pickled onions on the Wedge. For entrées I got the Allen Brothers 12 oz. NY Strip and the mac n cheese. My husband got the Dry-Aged Kansas City Strip and the mashed potatoes. Everything was soooo good and the cook on both steaks (rare for me and medium rare for my husband) were on point! We were in for a sweet surprise when they offered to comp a dessert for our anniversary. We are both cheesecake friends and the bourbon cherry glaze on the cheesecake at The Barn is next level. We look forward to coming back soon!

First time going, took my dad for Fathers day. Loved the feel of the place. Our server was attentive. We went during brunch on Sunday. There was a wide variety of food, the bourbon chicken was so good, the seasoning on the pork loin was tasty, the fried chicken was hot an crispy. The fruit was so juicy. I thought I'd be disappointed because it was only buffet an didn't know what to expect but I would totally go for brunch again, even made my dad wanna come back to try dinner. We def had fun an had a good father's day. With 2 drinks an brunch it came out to be $85, not horrible considering the variety an endless amount of food you could eat.

I have been all around the world looking for the best steaks and food, and it's been in my hometown this whole time! The broil process they use for the steaks just sets off the natural flavors, all while maintaining their premium cuts tenderness. Don't forget to stop in and treat yourself to a proper steak dinner or any of their other items. They also have an unmatched whiskey, bourbon, and wine selection with knowledgeable staff to help any newcomers pair their dinner. On the dessert front, they maintain a nicely packaged group of cakes, pies, and dessert drinks such as the espresso martini. It was fantastic. I'll always be a huge fan, and I highly recommend it.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The only down side was our waiter. He barely checked on us, took him over 10 min to get my daughter her strawberry lemonade, and took him 30 minutes after we were done eating to ask about dessert and or give us our bill. I’m going to chalk it up as he wasn’t having a good day, but will be back! Food was good and the barn is absolutely beautiful.

Omg don't where to begin but The Barn has phenomenal food! The French onion soup was our starter and it was very good. The tender filet mignon was cooked perfect and my husband's filet was also cooked to a perfect medium rare. All sides were crispy and seasoned nicely with the tender meat.. uhhh lol it was sooo good. We paired it with green beans with onions, peppers and pecans and mashed potatoes. Drinks were also stellar a smoky bourbon and a Hawaiian punch cocktails were good. The chocolate cake was so rich and chocolaty with the caramel sauce!!Nice atmosphere and staff were great. I recommend it 10/10!!

We had our anniversary dinner at the Barn, it was a restaurant we drove by one time and my husband wanted to try. The restaurant experience was good, took our drink order, came back with drink, took our appetizer order, came with the appetizer, then took our dinner order (that was a little odd for me, but maybe I'm just out of touch with the dine-in experience post-covid😅). Service was great, towards the end the server packed our leftovers for us too! As for the food, we got the calamari, restaurant special cut steak (totally blanking names rt-now) and the walleye. All the dishes were good. But I would try a different dish instead of the walleye. We got a free dessert for our anniversary, we picked the creme brulee, and loved the lemony flavors in the creme brulee. Definitely a place we will visit again when a special occasion comes up!

This is one of my top 2 restaurants in the Columbus (Ohio) area. It is an awesome barn decorated restaurant. Very cozy and elegant atmosphere. We went for our anniversary and had a great timw. Our server, Chelsea, was great and super attentive. We had the twin filets (wrapped in bacon), the ribeye steak and a burger. Everything was cooked perfectly. The corn is very good. Highly recommend if looking for an upscale restaurant.

We have ordered: - Baked Oysters Bingo: really good. - Fresh Cut Hand Battered Onion Rings: Indiana Farm Fairground has better ones - Scallops - really good. - French Onion Soup - good. Not French good, but good as French Canada good. - Filet Mignon 8oz: ordered medium; given - medium well. No questions to the cut though - Dry-Aged Kansas City Strip: ordered medium rare; given - medium at best. No questions to the cut though - Prime rib Queen Cut: right cut, right cooked. - Sautéed Mushrooms & Onions: really good - Crème Brûlée: French good. Kudos to dessert chef - Espresso: fine American Espresso. In a way , I'm a little bit disappointed. For the high-end stakehouse restaurant - they could give at least an apology for the overcooked meat, but no.... Only "I'll tell the cook" The restaurant has high ceilings thus it is very loud: conversation have to go over that.

The Barn is one of my favorite places to eat in Columbus. If you’re looking for something a little more upscale and nicer this is your place. It’s a great spot to go to if you’re celebrating or just craving a spectacular meal. My go to cocktail is always the espresso martini but any of their handcrafted cocktails are delicious. For an appetizer you can’t go wrong with their crispy and tasty calamari or their French onion soup which I would argue is one of the best items on the menu. I’ve tried many things on their menu but always be sure to listen to their special because they bring some really wonderful plates to the menu. From top of the line service and staff to their immaculately plated meals, this place wins. 10/10 recommend.

Service was excellent and food was very good. As someone who loves seafood, I felt that the scallops probably could have used a little darker sear on the bottom. They were still delicious though. I took off one star for atmosphere because we were seated near the kitchen. It was a high traffic area that was kind of noisy.

An awesome overall experience! From the time we walked in, we were greeted by very friendly people! Our server Ethan was very knowledgeable of the menu and he was cool! Everything we ordered was seasoned well & tasty! I felt comfortable trying new things! Highly recommend! We’ll be back!! Ed
