Nice little walk through the woods. The gravel path follows along a little stream. (Watch for tree roots in certain places on the path if your unsteady on your feet at all) We saw lots of birds and enjoyed the colors of fall.

Part is city park, part is state nature preserve. NP trails total about 1.5 miles. I only went to the NP side. Peaceful, very light and open mature beech Forest. Lots of vernal pools / wet areas. Did not see as many birds as I expected to. Road/airport noise in much of it. I would go back. Would be great to see in summer.

Small Lovely place.. Excellent trails. Not very well maintained, but great trails. There are two parts of the trail. One part is under the gahanna parks where pets are allowed. The other part is under gahanna woods, here pets aren't allowed. Each part is around 1.25 miles.

Great park, there is a wooded area and a non wooded area. Shown below is the non-wooded area. Benches throughout so you can sit down and enjoy. Easy to get to & in my experience not typically super busy!

The preserve is beautiful! Trails are in great condition. Pack bug spray - you will need it. Beautiful and peaceful. Some of the trails are not marked very well but everything leads back to the same place so getting lost is not a concern.

A lovely location for a quiet walk in the woods. On one side of the parking lot is the park operated by the city of Gahanna. Leashed dogs are allowed on the trail. On the other side of the parking lot is a state nature preserve. Dogs and bikes are prohibited in the nature preserve. Trail loops are relatively short- around 1 mile. Trails are easy and well maintained. The port-a-pot that used to be available in the parking lot has been removed due to Covid.

Great little park with narrow dirt trails, not crowded and great birdwatching.

A great place to walk and enjoy nature’s beauty. This park has a number of easy trails with plenty of wild life, streams, and flowers.

A few miles of cleared trails that loop around a wetlands area. Mostly tree canopy covered and well shaded. Parts of the trail are boardwalk, but the rest is dirt with some fallen trees to climb over and plenty of roots, but only gentle slopes. Stable footwear recommended. Would NOT say stroller friendly. At times considerably muddy, would be impassable without getting dirty after a rain. Use bug spray--the wetland marsh is stagnant water. No foul smell but a mosquito haven, and with the overhead brush a tick risk. Plenty of birds and dragonflies if you're a watcher. A pretty decent little spot, given the size. No on-site restrooms. There was an out-house but I did not look inside.

The "long trail" branch-off section of this hike is the worst kept trail I have ever experienced. It is severely overgrown and barely hikeable. I'm not one to leave bad reviews really ever but this was really, really bad

This is an okay little area if you don't mind the mud or unkempt trails. The walking path is very overgrown and muddy. Lots of thorns and poison ivy too. The pond is more like a swamp and there are lots of mosquitoes. I never mean to leave a bad review, just the facts of a place or area. On the flipside, there were many visitors to this area while we were there, meaning locals love it.

We took our dogs here for the first time today (not on the nature preserve side), and overall, it's a very nice park, but they desperately need trash cans on the trails. I had to carry a bag of poop the entire time until we got back to the parking lot. It was also kind of weird that one of the trails basically ended in a residential area. I feel like there should be a sign indicating that you're about to be in someone's yard.

Lovely little park. A couple benches by the pond if you want a place to relax in nature. The highlight for me are the trails; two approximately half mile loops, and two one mile loops. Not strenuous at all but quite pretty. One side goes through the woods past a couple ponds/swampy areas. The others go through standard Ohio woods with a nice view of the water tower at the end of a clearing.

Fairly calm, clean and natural trails. Unfortunately, you can still hear the road, but it's fairly quiet. I did see some white tailed deer and heard birds. The wetland looks cool with the trees frozen in ice

A nice area to escape for a little bit. Only one star removed mainly because it is full of poison ivy (to be expected in the woods), and some of the trails were a little harder because of fallen trees.

Nice place to take a walk. It has benches if you would like to sit and watch birds or to just think. Very peaceful.

It was a nice walk, threw the woods, we saw 2 female deer, and 1 fawn. Also lots of jelly and tree ear mushrooms, growing on, the dead wood, laying right, beside the trail.

This nature preserve park is great for a quiet walk in the woods. It's entrance is off Taylor Station Rd. Be careful, the paths do have some rough patches, with tree branches and it is muddy after rain. Today was very nice to walk through the woods - with nuts and pine cones on the ground. I took the northern loop, about 0.8 mile. Next time I will take the other loop past the more open water area.

I see alot of people commenting on the small parking lot but I've lived in the area for 4 years and take my dog here all of the time - spring, summer, fall and winter - mostly between 5-6:30pm and I've never seen the lot more than half way full. Even if it did get full (I'd be surprised to see it) there's a long road that leads to a maintenance house that I believe you could park along. Anyway, this is a really nice park with one area that you can walk your dog and the other is a nature reserve. I see deer often and have come across raccoon, bunnies, and opposums! The only reason I'm leaving 4 stars is because it's muddy so often. If its not dead of summer, there's bound to be really muddy areas that are almost unavoidable. I wish more wooden planks or stone could be laid out. I go here a lot less than I used to because of all the mud, but otherwise it's a pretty place with alot of wild flowers!

I love the trails and how peaceful this park is. I go here to feel like I am away from the hustle and bustle of the city life and to just relax with the dogs taking a simple hike. One of my favorite places in Ohio

You don't think of nature when the bedroom community of Gahanna comes up. Short of the road noise, it's a wonderful collection of wetlands and small streams filled with wildflowers and frogs.

Lots of mosquitoes here. Got 7 bites in just 5 mins. Take your bug spray and wear covering clothes as well if you wanna go here. It was beautiful from what I saw and I was upset I had to leave because of the swarm of mosquitoes.

The area is very cool and so wild! Feels like being in the deep jungle, and I did like that, and we saw a lot of small frogs jumping in our path. That was cool. but the bad thing is the impressive amount of bugs! So many mosquitos, and they are flying around you all the time. That part is very annoying. For that reason, you have to use a repellent yes or yes. The parking area is small, but even on a Sunday with good weather, was almost empty! And I think it is because of the bugs. There is a porta potty, no bigger restrooms. I guess it would be nicer to walk there in Winter or at least not during the Summer. Also, the paths are short.

Great place to hike! Trails paths are clearly visible and well marked. Rated a 4 star because the parking lot is small. Other visitors stated it's typically full during the summer months causing them to find another trail.
