I'm a frequent tanner who is not from the area. I attempted to purchase a single session while my wife was at the salon next door. I was told I could only purchase a session for half the maximum time since I've never tanned at that specific location before. Extremely inconvenient for me. The person working the desk wasn't the nicest person in the world either.

The store smelled like smoke. Cody is rude and none of them know what they're talking about when it comes to products . They just try to sell you whatever just to boost their commission. They're very pushy sales people. If I wanted to purchase something I would . I don't need to be talked to for 10 minutes about some product that I'm not going to buy . If I wanted to know about it I would ask ..

Every time I go in to tan the girls are so sweet, and upbeat! They're great at getting me to buy new products- that and I'm always interested in the new products! This is a main reason I came back to palm beach over any other salon! Great customer care!

I have been tanning with PBT since it opened and the best salon in Columbus. I have always had an excellent customer experience, which includes a clean, quality tan. I just encountered Paige on Saturday and she is EXCEPTIONAL! Extremely hard to hire committed and caring employees, when the hourly pay is minimal. Paige will grow with your business, maintain current clients and obtain new. I would love to see her receive a raise, it certainly is warranted. Thank You, Lisa M. Jones

Love the girls there!!!!! Cody and I clash over signing the tanning agreement six times in one month between two locations so as I paid for items he threw my change at me it landed on the floor where I left it, since then he's called me not so nice names as he didn't realize after I left my husband was still in the salon. I always go when I know the young ladies are working otherwise he ignores my husband and I and walks away. Love my experiences otherwise just think Cody may needs to take a customer service class and management training, as a manager you cannot always be right just as the customer is not always right, there's a happy medium he needs to find Jen

Clean beds and strong bulbs! The staff was excellent as well.

Most of the staff is very friendly some seem like they would rather be doing something else. The beds are always very clean and I am in and out in around 20 to 25 minutes at the most.

Bought a special package of spray tans. Tan was decent BUT when I went to use the second tan, I was told it expired within 45 days of purchase! Obviously if I was told this, then I would have used it.... but I was NOT. So, that was one expensive tan! I was going in this afternoon to buy another 3 tans and found out about this, so I decided to go elsewhere. Don't like this kind of practice where it was likely in the 'fine print' and the employee decided to not inform me of this! I am going to Dolphin Beach for a better deal and hopefully a more upfront approach. Try somewhere else or make them reveal all 'the details' of what they are selling you.

Palm Beach Tan is my 2nd home. Love the beds. Very clean and the girls who work there are the Bomb. In this cold weather. The warmth of the beds are so nice and relaxing..

I really appreciate their patience and expertise when picking out products. I appreciate that they actually know chemically how the product works and is beneficial. I can be a skeptic to tanning and they made me feel more comfortable. Also love that there is almost never a wait and if so it's quick.

I’ve had multiple issue with one blonde girl that works there. Had to go to a different location due to her incompetence and lack of help on fixing whatever was wrong with their system.

Went to get a machine spray tan and lady asked if I wanted primer, specific color, etc as if it’s apart of the process and never told me that they all costed more. Instead of paying $35 I ended up paying $58. Highly recommend going to Under the Palm in Gahanna where you are treated personably as I know this from experience. Also, their personal hand sprayed tan costs less than a machine spray here. Absolutely terrible customer service and WAY too costly.

When I first started going to Palm Beach Tan, I thought it was overpriced and the staff was too pushy. After moving away to college and having to switch to a new tanning salon, I realized just how great I had it at Palm Beach. The new tanning salon I go to is $60 a month for a level 2 bed and you have to purchase eye wear! The staff does not say "hello", or, "have a nice day" and are just overall rude. The staff at Palm Beach is so much more friendly and I am eager to come home and tan here again.

Great equiptment, lack of expertise with tanning and product.

Hit or miss. I was promised a credit that never happened from my prior visit for the spray tan. I have a membership, but the machine was dirty and soaked. Causing streaks on me.

Used to be great, but now you spend more time waiting to check in than tanning. The beds are poorly cleaned. The towels are nasty, and the management is non-existent. If you choose palm beach, than you should choose another location.

Staff member was wearing little mermaid pajama bottoms and acted like she didn’t know how to search for people in the computer due to being new. Had to ask for help from Kimber (GM). Kimber then proceeded to engage the person behind us and thank her for her patience instead of us. She then verbatim said to her, “You are my favorite, don’t tell the others.” Maybe don’t say that in front of other customers? We will stick with the Westerville location. They are more professional.

The Gahanna location is the WORST. Kimber, the general manager, is so rude and fake to not only the customers but to her own employees! She acts rude, speaks with a tone and a fake smile. I feel bad for the girls that work there. She needs to go through training again on how to be an approachable and professional supervisor & general manager. Also, Kimber almost didn't let me tan because I didn't have PBT's tanning lotion. I only had my tanning for a month because of a wedding so I wasn't about to waste $40 plus on a bottle of tanning lotion. She actually made me pull my lotion out of my bag so she could smell it and inspect it. I used to have two friends who worked here and both said that has never been a policy - at least when they worked there. They also said that the employees write badly about the customers in their account notes. It's catty and disgusting! When I went in to cancel, she tried to say it would cost me $90 plus to start back up again. No worries on that, Kimber. I will never tan with Palm Beach Tan ever again.

First time at this location... First impression, the place was clean and organized. Beds are cleaned and "sanitized" seal on the door. Staff was nice.
