I would give less if possible. My fiancée was supposed to get her ultrasound before 22 weeks and they scheduled her at 23 weeks, that’s fine and we accepted that. We had been reminded of this appointment in the 3 appointments leading up to it. At no point in time did they say anything about not being able to bring your child in with you. This is a very unfortunate policy for parents that can’t get someone to watch their child even with a month of planning since last minute emergencies are a thing. When we explained our situation the nursing staff were very rude and abrupt and brought my fiancée to tears.

I go to the women's prenatal office on the 4th floor. It's not the best place in the world but keep in mind its apart of a college. I've had 6 kids and am expecting number 7. My husband and I have been to many doctors offices and a few were also student hospitals. One thing about student hospitals is you aren't going to get the same doctor every time, or even the same nurse. Not everyone is going to remember you or your medical records so you need to get comfortable with repeating yourself to others. Keep in mind no matter where you go that not everyone is having a great day. If you're one of those new mothers who wants to develop a really close relationship with their obgyn and all the office staff then this is not the place for you. If you're trying to get through the pregnancy and have minimal stress then this is as good as anywhere. I didn't get my ultrasound til almost 7 months but we already knew the gender because they took blood early on. This 10 months of pregnancy is going to be so insignificant in the grand scheme of things. You won't care that it wasn't perfect at times, only that your baby is healthy and you don't have to go through it anymore.

UF Health is really going downhill. Had to wait months for my first appt as a new patient - fine, that's expected. Have sat in the waiting room over an hour for a standard appt AND for a blood draw, which they insist on doing in-house. Now they have such high turnover (Gee, I wonder why that could be 🤨😑) that they refuse to schedule annual exams for existing patients! Whoever heard of making your existing patients wait indefinitely?! So unprofessional.

Daughter has been on the wait list for 4 months and no call back for an appt. even had a referral from the doctor and they would not schedule her, after calling and leaving a message to call back due to the referral. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE service.

Horrendous time management! I've had two appointments canceled in a row, one I wasn't even notified of until the day I came in and could not get checked in. Two appointments wouldn't be so bad if it didn't take MONTHS to schedule them. GO TO PLANNED PARENTHOOD INSTEAD. If it weren't for them, I would now be looking at over a year without birth control or an exam. UF is a mess, please go to Planned Parenthood, those people are AMAZING!

I see why they have a low rating, whoever is doing the scheduling has no clue what they are doing. Working in Healthcare I expect a wait, what I did not expect was to wait 2 hrs. And be there 3 hrs. The Staff was friendly, I won't be going back unless I absolutely have to. I hope someone can find the issue and deal with it

You dont get an appoint for 3 weeks. They can't be seriously that busy to provide a care and doctor when its needed. So I have to pre-plan my ailment weeks in advance? What a joke.
