PR is always busy and for a good reason! Great food, good vibes, kind staff, and awesome music. The manager was very helpful when I asked about their vegetarian options. I recommend their homemade lentil burger patty, one of the best I’ve had in a while. I added it on a big salad with some avocado, yum! And you can’t leave without trying their espresso cookies ;)!

My first time... And I cant wait to go back. I had the short rib, which was cooked almost to perfection, a little bland but overall it was good. My wife had pasta Bolognese which she adored, has a little kick to it. Make sure to try their expresso cookies.

First time dining here, and definitely won't be the last! Went with my daughter for a quick lunch before an appointment around the corner. We went with the counter service side of the restaurant, and they had our order in faster than I took me to realize I left my wallet at home. While I struggled with embarrassment and anxiety, they simply gave me their card and said when I get sorted out to call in my credit card. I can't emphasize how much my day turned around at that moment. Ultimately I was able to retrieve my credit card details at that time, but I won't forget their consideration of my circumstances. What followed was an exquisite lunch of Wood grilled salmon and the Pane Rustica pasta, both of which were quite delicious. That combined with the amazingly friendly service made this certainly my favorite dining experience of the year, and quite possibly the decade, so far. I will absolutely be going back!

This was my first tine here. My friends had been here before, and raved about the food. None of us was disappointed this time. We chose to sit in the bar area for full service. We could have ordered for ourselves in the main dining area, sitting at one of the tables or booths. Kayla took our orders - she was friendly and efficient. We had the Caesar salad (me), Chicken Salad Sandwich with potato salad (D) and Acorn Squash with House Made Chicken Salad. All looked as good as they tasted. We paid separately. Kayla handled all 3 bills expertly. By the way, Kayla and all staff were masked. Customers were masked, too. Hand sanitizer was at the door. Seating was also limited for social distancing. We’ll be back - and we’ll ask for Kayla!

What a great spot for lunch . I ordered the chicken tacos and my sister ordered the burger . Tacos were great the burger was ok she said . Parking is good with plenty of spots . And other shopping in the plaza . The left side of the restaurant is full service with a bar and the right side is order to go or set yourself after ordering. Cool place will definitely be back . I freaking love this place. If I could marry it, I would. Friendliest team in south Tampa, and the food always hits just right. Straight fire!!! You’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t get the take n bake espresso cookies

Pane Rustica provides a great casual atmosphere, deliciously fresh meals along with great service! Bernie was our server this evening as we celebrated birthdays and enjoyed our time together with friends and family. Not only was the food fantastic, Bernie made sure we had everything we needed on this celebratory evening. He was attentive, friendly, informative and patient..as it was a busy night! Loved our Meal at Pane Rustica. Service from Bernardo was stellar! He was knowledgable of the menu, kind and attentive. My parents have been long time customers .... 25+ years. We always come for a great meal, coffee, breads and sweets when I'm in town.

Quality Fresh bakery with friendly woman behind the counter. Bought 2 kinds of bread 2 desserts and a drink everything was outta sight. Would like an outdoor area to sit but the location doesn't have room for a Greenspace. Local staple. Never had a bad anything.

Today was one of the best dining experiences I have had. Two of my dearest friends and I went to lunch and feel in love the Pane Rustica from the second we entered the restaurant. We were greeted by the who was either the owner or the manager. He was so pleasant and welcoming. There were so many wonderful choices on the menu. EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious form the soup and salad to the sandwiches and dessert. This is a little thing, but even the ice tea was fabulous - not bitter, not strong, not weak, just perfect. Everyone in the restaurant was kind with each interaction. They all smiled and met our needs immediately. I can't say enough about Pan Rustica. It was an absolute joy eating there and can't wait to go back!!

This is the best restaurant in Tampa. The lunch sandwiches are delicious. The pizza and pasta is great. Pastries are impeccable. And at night it’s whole different experience with a totally different menu which is just incredible. Can’t recommend it enough!

Talk about fresh ingredients. Fresh mozzarella and tomatoes. You owe it to your appetite to check this place out. Thanks for having us.

We came for our mothers birthday and everything was fantastic. We had been many times for lunch but this was our first time having dinner here. It was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Food and service was wonderful.

We found this place by accident. When you walk in the place is busy and bustling. There are several areas to sit and eat. We choose to eat at the beautiful appointed bar. Their wine was okay, not the best for Pinot Grigio, a little expensive for at $10.00 a glass. The wait staff at the bar were attentive and got our orders in The food was very good with our starters. We ordered sliced pizza for our second. This is where improvement needs to come. It’s like a cracker crust but when reheating it and serving it came out tough. the oil in the cheese rose to the top and separated. when making pizza things should meld together. The basil was burnt and the tomatoes where chopped and never seem to blend with the pizza. The cheese was not a true mozzarella cheese. The dough needs to be better quality using zero flour blend. I Was not impressed with the pizza. It missed the mark. This is a good local hangout.

I am one of the OGs, third customer at the original location some 24 yrs ago. Always love PR, recommend it to friends, family etc. Tonight I brought a friend from LA in for an early dinner. We sat at the bar, ordered blush margaritas (very yummy) and were informed it was too early for dinner. Ordered an app until dinner time. Female bartender was super nice and attentive. The male bartender ignored us. Ordered dinner, 30 minutes later told there was an issue with the French fries, accepted the substitute. Dinner was good, ordered more drinks (from female bartender because male ignored us) three attempts to get male bartenders attention to get to go boxes. Then, after 2 more excuse me’s, we ordered dessert. Told we got the last apple tart! Our lucky day. 45 min we waited. Had to ask twice where it was. Manager came over to say sorry, it was given to someone else. Said he’d take it off of the bill. I would hope so. Then another 35 min passed before I finally got the bill. The male bartender apologized about the dessert situation and put the bill down. Only after running my credit card did he say “I’m terribly sorry for the mix up and delay, next time you come in remind me and I’ll take care of you” Our quick early dinner turned into 3 hours!! And I feel for all of the issues a drink or two could’ve been comped. $150 tab for a frustrating, lackluster and definitely below standard experience.

Pane Rustica is the absolute best in dinning and service. We had a private party and Oscar was our coordinator. He was so helpful from the first phone call to the end of the special night. He made sure all the details were attended to and always with a smile and can do attitude. With 13 women, our server Chris was patient, kind and took care of us like we were his family. The food was perfect and everyone is still raving about the experience. Thank you Pane Rustica, Oscar and Chris for being the best around. We could not have chosen a better place for our celebration.

ANNIE IS THE BEST HUMAN ALIVE!!! She was our main server and truly made our first time experience dining her the best it could be! Explained every single dish off the top of her head so well, I was so confused about what I wanted to eat as everything sounded amazing! Literally would go there again just to talk to Annie! Thank you so much for being the best!

Pane Rustica is my all time favorite restaurant in all of Tampa. Food is fantastic and always consistent. Owners and staff are friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. Cookies are over the top. Love this place!!

This is a medium rare ribeye…at least cook it rare so I don’t feel bad returning it. I live right down the street and love coming here but come on guys

We were in town after our flight home was canceled and we came out for a bite to eat and we were so impressed!!! A huge thanks to the hostess and the manager for getting us a table for 6 without a reservation. ANNIE was the best part of our day !!! I wish we could come back the next night for dinner again ! The onion dip for a started was perfect ! Annie helped guide us in one of the best pasta meals I’ve ever had ! Followed up with the best summer cake dessert that we enjoyed back at the hotel! Yum !!

I would not recommend this restaurant. First, the “outside seating” was two small tables facing the parking lot. It was a totally different atmosphere than what they portray to have. I ordered a burger and it came out on sourdough and I was told “sorry we are out of burger buns” as the food arrived. The bolognese that we ordered didn’t have much flavor either. The positives of the experience were that the drinks were good and our server was very high energy. There are way too many great restaurants in Tampa to be spending $20-50 per plate at this place.

Came in to dine, and it was super busy so I decided on take out instead. There’s a bunch of ready to go pizzas and pastries for sale and the staff were super happy and helpful to take my order. Two slices of pizza was only six dollars. I would assume everything else is good considering how full it is in there 😊

Only great things to share about my experience with Pane Rustica! I booked the Venetian Room one week before our event and was assisted all the way by Taylor and Carlos. The room was set up before our arrival, the tables with linen table cloths, candles, and flatware. The AV/media/gift table stations were all ready, all that was left to do was to hook up the laptop and lay down our table centerpieces. The waitstaff- Oscar and Chris, were so attentive, courteous, and they made sure everyone had what they needed throughout the evening. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone was constantly raving about the menu! We shared our leftovers with our guests and everyone happily took a container to go, I didn't have to ask twice 😁 Heartfelt gratitude to Pane Rustica & Staff for making the 50th Wedding Anniversary of my parents an event they'll never forget. Looking forward to next time...

Great food and great service. Always a joy to go back to, wherever for a nice dinner, or for the amazing espresso cookies. We ordered them for my daughter’s wedding 2 weeks ago, and packaged them as favors. We went for Eid (Muslim holiday) tonight, and Zak did a great job.

My favorite place in Tampa because you can get a little bit of everything here - delicious bakery items and gourmet desserts, fresh bread, deli menu items, burgers, pasta, eclectic seafood, a fantastic bar, casual lunch setting but upscale dinner setting - there’s something for everyone. The menu changes based on seasonal items so coming here never gets old. The staff is wonderful and the owners are working in the restaurant daily taking pride in this absolute gem.

Absolutely incredible! It was our 16 year anniversary. Our server, Christopher, was amazing. The butternut squash ravioli, caramelized onion dip and the Short Ribs were delicious. And My God, the Summer Cake was divine. This just became a regular spot for us. Looking forward to our next visit

Update on Pane Rustica visit for dinner on Jan 15 2021. 6:50 PM. Despite a few tables open was told couldn’t be seated because restaurant was booked out. Pulled out my phone and booked a table for 7:15 PM. Was seated no problem and hostess went out of her way to be rude. OK dinner (same old menu) and that’s fine. On out way out Hostess made sure to be rude again 🤷🏻‍♂️. Such a shame. Should be a staple for the neighborhood. Ps. Our server Christopher was fantastic!

I have been visiting Pane Rustica since it opened many years ago. Traveling back in time I would give it a perfect five star score because of the quality of the food and service. Over the last few years, as it happens to many successful joints, it kinda rested on its laurels and lost some of the initial creativity and innovation. I still go from time to time to enjoy the fine crust pizza. Please continue to create and do not settle on past achievements.

Have not been here since the pandemic. Friendly staff. Delicious cheese pizza. The sandwich I ordered from the sandwich chalk board that I was told is no longer available and left on wall by owners for nostalgic reasons - not so much. Wish they had earlier hours like they did back in the day.

This was my second time at Pane Rustica. The last time was in 2020. We were welcomed by a friendly host and very nice waiters. The food was excellent as well as the service. Nice ambiance in the main area and we enjoyed a perfect meal. This evening showed that old fashioned friendliness and good food, will make the perfect dinner experience. We will be back and won’t wait too long to go back.

Stopped by to check out the assortment of bakery items and was pleasantly surprised with the variety available. In addition to picking up a piece of carrot cake, some mini cup cakes & cookies (all of which were wonderful), I scored the last of the rosemary foccacia - which was fantastic - and one of the best slices of Pizza Margherita I've ever had.
