    I have lived here since July 2021 and I would not recommend moving here.Back in January I noticed water dripping from upstairs into my bathroom I submitted a service request,2 days later I got a notification that the job was complete but no-one came to my apartment.This issue continued into February,I submitted a service request and each time I got the same result.At one point my service request was removed by management,when I inquired the assistant property manager told me that he removed it because there's no way to find out where the leak is coming from.I had to explain to him that there's still a leak and it needs to be fixed,he submitted another service request and once again I got notification that the problem was resolved but no-one came to my apartment. One morning in March water was literally pouring from upstairs into my bathroom that was when they decided to fix the problem,it turn out that the tenant upstairs had flushed a wash cloth and that was the reason for the leak,it took 2 days for the issue to be fully resolved. I asked about breaking my lease because of the unsanitary condition,I was told I would have to pay to break lease even though it would be as a result of their negligence.The property manager was suppose to contact me but noone did.Explore other options before moving here.

    Updated review: the initial move in process was quite a head ache. Our apartment was switched multiple times with changing the rent price. and our move in day delayed. However, once I expressed my concerns about what was happening, within the hour I was contacted by an assistant manager there, although I don't remember her name. She was very pleasant and offered to fix the situation right away. Within 30 minutes I was there, introduced to the head manager. toured and was given a larger apartment on the first floor for my initial rent agreement for whatever day I was ready to move in at my convenience. She explained the errors that occurred, and from then on out the head manager Van handled the rest of our leasing. He was splendid, cheerful, and very accommodating and flexible. Van and the other manager there went above and beyond our expectations to remedy the situation, and it's certainly appreciated. The complex has 24 hour access to the gym and maintenance, they have a very lenient pet policy, offer free printing and faxing in the business center for residents, and free always available parking from what I've seen so far. The apartments themselves are pretty dated, but they're nice for the price that you pay here. Even shorter term leases aren't that expensive. I've seen no signs of mold, mildew, or bugs or rodents so far, but it's only been one day. But still, everything seems clean. The only real inconveniences I've noticed so far are that Verizon fios can't be installed in these apartments, only Comcast, if that matters to you, and the washer and dryer sizes in the apartment are pretty small, but I'll take that over shared laundry facilities any day 100%. Overall I'd recommend this place. I'll re update again once more after a month or so seeing how things are with staff, maintenance requests, issues, noise, or what have you that may come up. In response to comments from others below: I have toured two apartments here and neither of them have smelled remotely like smoke. I have very bad asthma and I was perfectly fine in both toured apartments, and while being in the one I moved in now. If you tour one that does, just ask to see a different one from a previous non smoker renter I suppose. I also haven't noticed any broken bottles or trash outside of my building or block, but I haven't walked all the grounds yet either. I'll keep that in mind for my one month update.

    I have a few hiccups along the way, but the staff here were incredibly accommodating and helpful to make sure we were all happy. Maintenance is superb and the neighborhood is pretty decent. Living near where people smoke cigarettes and marijuana outside your window is a bit annoying, but you can't control your neighbors. Apartments are spacious and a great value for what it is! Close to so much and affordable.

    I’ve been here for about 2.5 years and let me say to start out, I’ve had some issues that were deal breakers and would’ve resulted in a 3 star rating. But this staff knows how to put it in hyperdrive and get stuff done fast. They really work to make sure this place was suitable. Whenever I put in a maintenance request, they’re on it. Like I can put in a request at 2 AM and they’re addressing it at 9, like the turn around is amazing. I liked the old maintenance guy Kevin, but Donald is the G.O.A.T. He’s really knowledgeable and makes sure you understand the process of a repair And even provides tips to help maintain the life what he’s fixing. The property responds with the speed of service and Donald responds with the quality of service. I also love how Bladimir or Sandra calls to confirm or clarify information. They’re patient, helpful, understanding, and very thorough. They deserve 5 stars!

    Wonderful place to Live!! I have been living here for almost 2 years, and I absolutely love this community. It is quiet and the people are friendly when you see them. The Maintenance department is awesome. Anytime there was a problem, they fix it right away. The office staff is very informative and knowledgeable. They are also very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful Community

    I do not write reviews, but potential clients for Watkins Mill need to know, Sadly my application was denied, (the apartment was very nice), I was notified of this within 2 days. I applied July 21, I have not yet received my deposit. The office staff do not return calls unless they want to.They are not honest with any answers, and will not admit to error that are made by them . The management attitude is the same. I have called several times and no response. I am going to report to BBB , and anyone else that will listen . This is what's wrong with America, people do not want to work. Thank you.

    We've been living here for about 3 years and have had hardly any complaints or problems. When we need services done, they get it done. Donald is possibly one of the best maintenance guys out there. He always make sure the tenants are satisfied with the fixes and when things don't get done the way they should be, he makes sure to find a solution

    Maintenance here is awful. Lazy and slow. Maintenance supervisor should be flipping burgers not in this position. I wonder how many people have left this apartment complex because of the maintenance team not fixing stuff or putting little effort into it, or just being incredibly slow.
