Scratch made food to order that tastes great! The bread is fresh and you can request olive oil to dip it in if they only bring butter. We ordered what we wanted and they made it for us😁 The staff were very friendly and the owner stopped by our table outside.

We had a nice reunion dinner here. My eggplant Parmesan was good, but I have had a lot better. It was nice to have a private room large enough for our group without a $5000 minimum that we ran into at several other places. It was all on one check, though, so be sure you trust your friends if you are going to split the costs.

Pretty good food...expensive. Chicken Marsala was good. Salmon was fresh & well prepared. Shrimp & Scallop Fra Diavlo was not upto the mark & not enough seafood for the $24 price.

We were greeted at the door with a smile. Started with a fancy coffee. Also had the Calamari with red sauce. Dessert was their tarimesu delicious. I will be back and recommend

Stopped by to get Dinner, we were attended by Sabino! What a great guy! Customer service was a 10/10. Food tasted great! My cousin got basically a tomahawk stake, mf was huge! 20/20! Will be back

The food is just okay. I wish I could give this place a 2.5 rating. I ordered Chicken Romano. When my food came to the table the waiter said Chicken Marsala. Corrected her knowing very well. That's not what I ordered and she said oh no this is how we make our Chicken Romano. Which in fact she gave me the wrong order. But at this point I refuse to turn away the food. The chicken was nicely cooked. Had a wonderful crust on the outside smothered in Marsala sauce with mushrooms. (Not chicken Romano) it was served with a side of linguine with red sauce. The linguine was overcooked. The red sauce is acidic. Absolutely no flavor, no seasoning, there's no love put into it. It tasted as if they opened a can of tomatoes and put it on top of mushy linguine.

Great but pricey food; easy parking. Seemed to have a waiter in training -- my friend I dined with had particular financial constraints and asked questions about prices of certain items to which the waiter rolled his eyes...how not to make a good tip. This is a service industry; if you can't provide service without eye rolls, go train for some non-service position somewhere else.

Busy restaurant. We had to wait about 10 mina till someone come to us. Food was ok, but not the best italian food I tried.

Lovely meal and service every time! We were there for lunch. We enjoyed a crispy White Pizza with Fontina Cheese, Caprese with Balsamic and a house salad with their house dressing. So deliciously satisfying! Ty!

Maybe it was an off night but my clams smelled fishy and tasted odd. The linguini was bland. The bread they offer there is bland with cold butter. My partners dish had very oily chicken. The service was great but the food …… And my menu was falling apart.

Service and ambiance of this place is A1. Never had to ask my server for anything. He was on top of everything. Ordered drinks and clams and was amazed. Once my chicken piccata came I was severely disappointed. Had no flavor looked unappetizing and it came with bland pasta with cheap red sauce. Was appalled at how great the restaurant felt but how much the food lacked flavor. Server didn’t make it clear that the linguine came with red sauce. Thought it would come as one with the piccata. May come back really unsure after

My group (30+ people) had our fundraising event at this restaurant on January 13th. The restaurant was fully prepared for our arrival, and their food & service were all done well. Our group had a great time! (I personally had fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, and it was beautifully cooked.)

Nice ambiance in the front outside space. Attentive waiters are a plus. I can't give a great rating to overly soft pasta and don't understand any Italian restaurant getting that wrong. It doesn't compare well to the nearby Mama Lena's where every dish is well cooked and spiced.

There are a lot of menu options, which usually puts me off due to the usual drop in freshness due to the requirement to store all of the ingredients. However, because the options are all just different combinations of a few basic ingredients it doesn't matter. The food is tasty, but nothing to write home about. The servers are pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. I would dine here again.

We used this restaurant as a space for our rehearsal dinner. We originally had 43 people attending, and then a bunch of people backed out at the last minute, so we only had 37. The restaurant requires 40 people to have the private room, they still allowed us to use the private room. There was also terrible traffic on 270 because of a bad accident, and they allowed us to show up at 7:20 instead of the original schedule time of 7 PM. The staff is very helpful, we got our food quickly, the food was delicious, the drinks were amazing, and atmosphere was wonderful. The tables were set beautifully with linen and candles, and I can’t say enough about how attentive the staff was. Amazing food, amazing space, loved it!!

Delicious seafood platter on linguini with red sauce. The sauce itself had a seafood flavor, which is nice since some restaurants seem to use an all-purpose sauce. Chocolate mousse cake was very good. Coffee was freshly made. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Def not a good experience a all! I was pretty surprised of the poor quality of food and service even though this restaurant has these claimed ratings. I totally disliked the taste of my friends food and my food was just so so. I would say it is some of the worst Italian food that I have ever had from a restaurant. Also, the service was awful, which is really odd considering we were the only ones in the restaurant for most of our meal. It was the oddest thing, because most people who worked there were huddled at the back talking the whole time in plain sight. Our waiter would literally look us in the eye as we are staring him down waiting for assistance with basic things, such as, ordering, paying for our meal etc. After making direct eye contact multiple times he would continue to just chat with his buddies. If I was paying I would have offered no tip, because you tip for service, and the service that day was truly unacceptable. My overall experience in regard to the quality of food and service was very unpleasant.I don’t recommend this restaurant, as I unfortunately have nothing positive to report on from my experience.

We have been going to Il Porto for years, and each time we leave with an overall excellent experience! I stopped eating at those two well known spots Italian spots in Georgetown a long time ago, since walking into Il Porto's doors! You can't go wrong with any of their menu items, and their drinks are always on point. But, what gets to me the most, and what warms my heart is how the staff makes you feel like you are dining with family! It's a great gem that we have in Montgomery County!

We were here for a rehearsal dinner. The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially given the size of the party. The food was ok, again, good for the crowd. The calamari and white pizza appetizers were delicious and plentiful. The chicken was very well cooked, not dry at all, but the sauce was just a little on the bland side. I had the tirimisu for dessert which was good, however unexpectedly doused in cinnamon. It took a long time to get everything, but I blame that on the size of the party, not the restaurant. Would be better with less people.

The atmosphere and the service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My subtraction of a star is only because one of the ladies I was with had to add quite a bit of salt to our pasta, almost like they didn't add salt to the water before cooking.

Found on Google . Restaurant empty but service attentive What i did not understand is why have printed specials with no prices.. was I supposed to ask for prices for all 18 items?? What supermarket did the bread come from, perhaps find a new supermarket ... What chef would send out pasta with clam sauce with 2 perfectly cooked clams and then a bunch of clams that were visible past cooked ??? Oh well. 364 dinners before next year's dinner!!!!

Delicious italian food with warm and friendly service. Cocktails are yummy, especially one with passion fruit. You can't go wrong with any item on the menu. Outdoor seating available when weather permits. Visit Il Porto and you'll make it your favorite Italian restaurant.

The best Eggplant Parmesan ever! I've had it several times and it never fails to be the best. Staff is friendly. We had a group event and 5 people couldn't make it due to covid; however, the staff willing made up to go boxes for us to take them their dinner.

Fabulous food! Don’t get put off by the strip mall this place is absolutely fantastic! Staff are friendly and welcoming and recognize us as our whole family have been going there for so many years now I can't even count. It's everyone's "favorite place"! Ate there last week and sat outside watching the sunset. Got take-out tonight and it didn't disappoint! Pro Tip: If you are ordering take-out, make sure to ask what the daily specials are! They are amazing!

The complimentary bread here is AMAZING we could not stop eating them they were so soft fresh and hot and doughyyyy. They were served with the typical olive oil and black pepper, but also grated parmesan cheese!!!! I came here for lunch and ordered the chicken parmagiana, which was bigger than my face! It was breaded very nicely and not that thick. It wasn't dry but also wasn't juicy, I think if it had been thicker it would have been a bit better. It comes with a side of pasta marinara but I asked for alfredo, which was a mistake. The alfredo was extremely mild I had to dump parmesan and peppers on it to get some flavor 😭 My friend ordered the Pollo Italiano which had this pink sauce with a very unique flavor that was better than the marinara and alfredo. If I came back here I would order that :) The tiramisu was phenomenal - super moist and flavored while not being too sweet Nice atmosphere, most of the other diners we saw were elders. The staff are super friendly and attentive!

Disappointing. Cocktails were only okay (we had a martini and margarita). Dinner was served cold TWICE, and I mean stone cold pasta, even though there were very few customers. Staff were very apologetic and comped our meal, but still...

Order the white pizza with extra fontina cheese. Nor a chance you can go wrong. The service staff are all very friendly and accomodating. Great restaurant.

Great food! Don’t get fooled by the shopping mall around it, this place is absolutely fantastic! Staff is nice, knowledgeable, food is delicious and prices are ok, for the quality of food. We have enjoyed this place for years.

Always required eating when coming home from new york. Longtime area gem with friendly staff, reliable quality, and almost guaranteed to see someone you know from around the neighborhood. Homemade bread, house dressing, any of the pastas, white pizza, roast chicken/veal - can't miss with anything really.

Charming and warm place. The staff, the dining room and the intimate atmosphere are all very nice. The food was good. Presentation was a bit lacking for my rockfish but it was still very tasty. Not enough lump crabmeat for the price though. We dined as a family and everyone enjoyed the food. My vegan husband liked the bean appetizer and his angel hair pasta entree as well. I can't wait to go back for date night. Lovely place!
