Ordered cheeseburger + fries (16k on happy hour) and Margarita - this was communicated as a 2 for 1 when infact it was a buy 1 get 1 half price (which was slightly annoying as i'd not budgeted for that and would have stuck to the mojitos which were COP10 on happy hour). The fries were awesome. The burger fell apart a bit, though taste wise it was fine. The margaritas were outstanding as was rhe barmaid that glanced for approval. The mojitos are average - I'd recommend going to KHITAJO GASTROBAR for a fab mojito + their mincacao is divine. Nice background music.

Terrible place. The waiters are rude and ignored us for a good part of the night. We ordered a Greek salad which we had to remind them of after 45 minutes. It didn’t arrive until an hour after we had ordered. Afterwards we ate wok and baby beef steak. The steak was super oily and extremely salty, whereas the wok barely had any flavor. Wild dogs kept coming into the restaurant, some waiters tried to get them to go out but without much luck. We had multiple dogs beg for food at our table.

Nice terrace above the river, good burger with quality meat, smoothies, cocktails etc.

It is a nice and not too expensive place to go. They offer hamburgers, wraps, sandwiches, steaks and vegan food. Additionally, the have natural juices and lemonades. Perfect balance between price and flavor, and the place is very well decorated

We visited lazy cat after a hike and the dishes were delicious. We had the avocado toast, french fries and the tofu poke bowl. The restaurant has a view over the river and you can even see some special animals. Maybe it should change the name to “The lazy Dog” ;)

Good food at very reasonable prices (5$ fresh Pad Thai 😘). Quick and friendly service. Cheap beers even cheaper at happy hour and a nice terrace in the back. Ticks all my boxes ✅

Great restaurant in center town of Minca. We went 2 times for lunch. Service is great and the dishes are good and there is a lot of variety. If you’re lucky you will see lizards from the terrasse in the back. From there you can also see Minca’s river

I went there with my boyfriend 2 times and it was perfect! The service was number one, the drinks were really good and the food was perfect!! I recommend it if you want a good dinner from A to Z.

Thank you all for the reviews and pics♥️♥️ Was my first choice after reading and definitely best find in Minca :D We couldn't get enough of the food. Everything on the menu was excellent, fresh and great quality. Many vegetarian options and large selection of beverages. The staff was very lovely and the vibe was great! When it's busy it takes a while to get the food but it's absolutely worth waiting! Reasonable prices and large portions 🍒🌸🧚‍♂️

Definitely the place number one where to have a yummy veggie lunch in Minca. Strongly recommend their tortillas and pokes! 😍

Enjoyable lunch. We tried the onion rings, a gourmet burger, chicken pad Thai, a kid’s burger, and a gin tonic. Everything was good. The setting on the back patio is really nice, especially if you can snag a table overlooking the river. The food took quite a while to come out, but the service was attentive and friendly. Got to watch a couple World Cup games. We plan to go back. I’m glad we weren’t dissuaded by the average star rating, which seems low compared to our experience.

Fantastic menu with lots of different tastes - THAT ALL WERE GREAT. You can choose from mexican to asian cuisine and way more. We went there twice for dinner because it is the best one in Minca.

The Lazy Cat has an awesome vibe! The draft beer is locally brewed and some of the best I’ve had in Colombia! The picada was delicious! I let them know it was my husband’s birthday, and they gave us a complimentary dessert! But beware, the place lives up to its name… there were lazy cats begging for food! We returned another evening for happy hour but were confused by their signs and they didn’t have the drinks we wanted on a promotion for another hour. But other than that miscommunication, we loved the Lazy Cat!

Unfortunately, much below expectations. The dish we ordered was not what we got. The meat was stringy. The starters were served at the end. On the plus side - nice view and friendly service.

Great place in Minca for a coffee and some great food. Fantastic food and fantastic staff, very busy little place in the heart of the town with very helpful members of staff. I would definitely recommend this place for some food before or after a trip to one of the numerous waterfalls.

The burger, drinks and tacos were good. Poke and cheesecake weren't good. French fries of the burger was awful. Atmosphere, staff and sitting was nice.

Visited Lazy Cat while visiting Minca with the family from the States. I read of this place while I was doing some research. At first I thought it was only a burger restaurant but they have much more. Andrea was our server and she was great and very attentive. Definitely stop here. I highly recommend the ceviche!
