Such an underrated fast food place. Their potato oles are the best. The employees and staff are really nice, too. Like how you get to have a discount on the receipts after taking a quick survey. Such a nice addition to have. Really good quality for fast food, too.

The tacos are decent for fast food tacos..I will say better than Taco Bell.

We went through the drive thru. We don't have a taco John's in our hometown, so we go there when we have a chance. The young lady at the window was so helpful.

First time eating there today drive thru service was great food was hot and tasty they even gave me some coupons will most definitely be coming back!!!

Just passing through and caught this for a quick lunch. Staff was great place was clean, the atmosphere was friendly. I never set my expectations too high at fast food, but these guys did a great job. Just gave me the feeling that the place was being managed right, wish I could expect this more often. THANKS

Taco shells were soft and better than taco bell but the price for the size of the taco was a bit too much.

I used to live in Galesburg Illinois years ago and my family enjoyed eating there and going to the Drive - in Movies, so even though I have not been there in years I want to give them 5 stars for just bringing back some good memories. I live in North Carolina now and I was reading an article about Best fast food Nachos and they were in the article. Can Y'all open up a location in Franklin North Carolina?! Hahahahahahahaha 😂!!!

I’m from out of state just tried them for the first time. Pleasantly suprised. Very fair prices, good food, and their quesadilla was not flimsy it had plenty of beef and cheese. Great job!

A-F-F-O-R-D-A-B-L-E! They're incredibly affordable! And there's no sacrifice of quality either! The flavors are much better than tacobell. The atmosphere is very friendly and cheerful. The food is amazing, my boyfriend makes me get them for his lunches & dinner all the time. If you want great food, decent quantity and great flavors? Come to Taco John's

Overall very impressed with the experience food was good (potato oles was oversalted) but overall experience was good the staff was friendly,fast& efficient.

Short staffed. Food was good. Nothing special. Typical fast food lunch.

The drive thru gets my order wrong and they don't do much to make up for it, but I started to order online and they got it right that way. The food is really good so I'd hate to give up on them. The staff is nice and friendly but they need to work more on getting orders correct. Galesburg had taco John's back in the day and then closed, but I'm very glad it's back. Just do away with the fried chicken tacos because they're not good.

Tesco John's is a super favorite for our family. The potato oles are to die for. Service is always on point, and the food is cooked to order. Everything always hot. I wish there were more of them throughout the entire nation. Expand, expand, expand.

The drive-thru menu needs to be more concise, when pricing the combos as well as individual items. Example burrito only price, combo only price.

I wanted to like the food. I really did. First... the girl who took my order was super friendly so mega props for that. The food though. Sigh. Tried the new queso fried chicken tacos and I'm not sure where the queso even was? Chicken was overcooked and bland. Then my churro. I love a churro. Not this one. It was So overcooked it crumbled into crumbs as I bit in. And it was just nasty. One bite and tossed. Overall I wasted $10 to Not treat myself :( At least the service was good.

Don't like the beef tacos taste like Chilli beef Taco sauce nasty...don't know what kind of flavor yall use but need to change it. Nasty aftertaste no stars from me Wont be back!!!!

Wish they offered more gluten-free options. But I love the potato oles!!!

**UPDATE** the very next day they made it right, they didn't even hesitate to fix the order. The food is BOMB🔥 so I'm glad they did right by us💖 Thank you. I now understand why it is never busy... 🥴 They forgot the cheese for my oles and they came looking like THIS!? A soggy mass of potato grease nasty. No thank you.

Absolutely great service!!! Very kind and fast paced in the kitchen! Couldn't think of a better place to get fast food tacos in Galesburg !!!

Tried the Mango Shrimp Tacos. I just love them. Can't wait to go back for more. My partner had a steak breakfast burrito which he enjoyed as well.

We stopped here on our way home from a 12 hour road trip and had a pleasant experience. We tried the quesadilla tacos…sooo good! I actually prefer them over some “authentic” taco restaurants. This location was cleaner, quicker and more professional than the Taco John’s in our hometown (it’s kind of a sh*thole).

Seem to still be short on staff.that being said I was not disappointed with service and food.have patience,those working are due that much respect.
