Best. Food. Ever. We ordered the Chicken Jackfruit Kuttu (please do yourself a favour and try this, no other resto has a “jackfruit” kuttu on their menu) and Grilled Prawns (the marination and the flavours on this was out of this world). 100% Family owned which is where all the magic in the food comes from - authentic palette, fresh produce, beautiful people, cozy setting, local tunes, pure bliss. Do NOT leave Unawatuna without dining at this gem, you can thank me later ;) PS: This beautiful family has a secret chilli sauce that is home-made. Do ask for it and if available, you’ve hit jackpot!

They cook for a very, very long time. My parents brought me here when I was a kid. Now I am a deep old man, but I am still waiting for my order.

We went here twice during our stay and we loved the jackfruit kottu that only this place seems to serve. Ask for the homemade chilli sauce accompaniment, it is amazing. Recommend to go before you get very hungry as the service takes time (about 45 mins) but the place is cozy, so waiting was for food was not a problem

Nice place with pleasant atmosphere. Family restaurant run by nice, smiley and talkative lady. We ate there twice and tried different meals and all were tasty and for reasonable price. This place is worth visiting! P.S. Try her jack fruit kottu roti, amazing!

Super delicious food - can highly recommend the jack fruit curry. Great value for money and very nice service. They have even had live music tonight.

This place is one of the finest srilankan rice n curry in Unawatuna. So lovely taste and good ambience. Very peaceful place and staff is really friendly.

Lovely friendly atmosphere & very busy too which is always a good sign especially considering how quiet it is in Unawatuna at the moment. I will be back.

Cool place to have dinner. The atmosphere is very nice. The restaurant is located on the 2nd level. The rice and curry with chicken was really delicious, but I must say that it hasn't been the best in Sri Lanka so far from which I had. I would have loved Dhal as an curry option. The lime juice was good. Service is already very fast and friendly.

Excellent place to chill with your love ones. And also very friendly crew. They exactly understand customer's requirement very well. We ordered Seafood platter & Cocktail. That's was awesome... Would like to recommended Coconut Style Restaurant to anybody. Keep it up Guys 💓

I ate grilled prawns with fri potato and coleslaw -anough for 85 kilo man. Take care with your bill, because your beer can be little expencive then in pricelist=)) nevertheless charm and wise owner's wife can help you spent your money easy and with pleasure. Enjoy this place!

Nice familly running restaurant, very friendly and cheerfull staf. Food is delicious and lassi as well. Kottu is perfect and Seafood soup and Tom Yum are just incredible - for the Nobel prize :-)

Amazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great. Family owned restaurant where the owners are always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are more than fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great authentic Sri Labkan food. I stayed in their guest house for about three weeks, tried almost every dish on the menu and liked all of them:))) Highly recommended when in Unawatuna!

Food is really good here, we got tuna steak and veggie curries and ate every last bit. Prices are similar to most restaurants aimed at tourists, so relatively affordable. The only thing that we didn't like was pop music on the speakers, don't know if it's always like that but some different more chilled out music or something traditional to Sri Lanka would be nice when eating and make it feel like a more interesting/authentic experience!

As a single female traveller I felt completely comfortable at this restaurant and the food was lovely. Big portion and tasty. Good value for money. Chilled atmosphere.

Great restaurant with a good good variety on the menu including western and Sri Lankan food. I ordered the tuna and potato salad and it was great☺️Made with fresh tuna fish and lemon, not from the can! The service is excellent and food came very quickly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Got a food poisoning there couple weeks ago. It was our fourth time there. I ordered their jackfruit kottu and shared it with my family except of one. By the end of the day, 3 of 4 family members were suffered from nausea, diarrhea and fever. That continued for 2 days. While the staff is cool, pay attention to the food.

Owner lady talks too much. Doesnt understand the concept of leaving introvert people alone lol. Got fried noodles it was okay. Bumped this up to two stars only cause we received spicy sauce and it was actually delicious. Please improve

Best Kottu I had during my stay in Sri Lanka! The service was also unbelievable friendly and caring. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the chats and had a great time. Totally recommended!

Absolutely amazing, funny and friendly owner who made our dinner a great experience. We ordered four different meals and all were great, but the biggest surprise were the fried calamari which were the best I have ever had - not chewy at all and they said its the secret cook's recipe so we just have to come back there to try it again 🤤🥲

100% would recommend. Tasty food! Price Quality is really good. We ate the calamaris curry and Jack fruit kottu. Jum! We looked with thé whole family to the finals of cricket on screen. Really nice and their son explained the cricket game in good English!

Our favorite place in Sri Lanka; we visited twice during our stay in Unawatuna and both times it was amazing. Can recommend all of: rice and vegetable curry, fish curry, kottu roti, devilled prawns. I asked for very spicy and I got a great spice level and additional home made extra hot sauce which I enjoyed tremendously.

If you’re looking for a place to eat in una this is the best place. One day me and my friends were looking through out streets of una for a place to eat. But we couldn’t find a single one with fair prices also some were not happy to serve us. Then we found coconut style and they were more than happy to serve us and their food is excellent. Prices are also very cheap. Restaurant run by a couple and they treated us with their best. Had a nice time visiting their surely I will come back again.

This is the tastiest restaurant I have eaten in Sri Lanka so far. We are in unawatuna for only 2 nights have have chosen to eat here each night. You can’t beat the home cooked style that tastes like a high quality restaurant in London. The service along with the family friendly vibe is particularly special. The cocktails are also absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Thank you guys!

The Staff is very friendly and the food was also quite good. In comparison to other restaurants here the portions are a little bit small in my opinion.

We had lunch at Coconut Style restaurant and it was absolutely lovely: the place is nice, clean and the air is cool, the owners are super friendly and the food was delicious for a very reasonable price. Just go!
