A really cool place. The stairs to get up are a bit scary but once you get up there it’s worth it. The view is amazing and the rock/island itself is super lush and green. Highly recommend this place if you are in Mirissa!

One of the top "things to do's" in Mirissa. This amazing rock point provides some breathtaking views of Mirissa Beach. It also has a couple of little benches to chill on during the day.

Due to stormy weather and high waves we couldn't pass the sea and reach the rock. But I heard that on sunny days it's easier to cross the beach. Also I saw that the stairs were broken so it was a little hard to go to the top of the rock.

Great viewpoint near the main beach of Merissa. In principle zhe ascent is good manageable and not too steep and long. However, the stairs in the lower part of the ascent are not in the best conditions. Especially the bambus made frame enhancing the stairs does not look trustfully. Therefore, it is recommended to be extremely careful when climbing up the rock. Once being up, the view over he beaches is great.

May be a less known place, but definitely worth a visit and a really good experience! You need to walk through the water then climb up the rock! The views are definitely worth the climb! Try getting there just before sunset to get some good clicks!

Sunset from this place is breathtaking. Can see yatchs, surfers and swimmers and a 360 view of the amazing surroundings. Place would be much better if maintained daily.

It's a parrot rock as it is shaped as a parrot and I feel like it's a small island with a walkway. We went to this parrot rock in the morning and had an amazing experience we have nice view points around this rock with benches to enjoy nature, few people are fishing here lots of fishes and crabs are there at this place.

You may have an unforgettable experience after reaching this place situated in the Mirissa beach with a beautiful sea view and salty wind from the Indian ocean. Be careful when reaching the place through the bridge.

One of beautiful place in Mirissa. This is a small island.Mirissa beach and Parrot Rock island are connected by a broken bridge. We can see the 'Coconut Tree hill' clearly from the top of this place. It is a bit difficult during the day due to the bright sunshine.Very attractive place for the foreigners.somedays the way to Parrot Rock is covered by the sea

What a beautiful place to sit and watch the waves and take in the view. Be aware that to get to the rock you will need to cross a path where the waves meet, and depending on the tide, the waves may be higher. Of course this doesn’t matter if you don’t care about getting wet. The rock is easy to climb and quite a cool place. Perfect opportunity to watch the sunset, although it will be busier on the rock around that time. Definitely worth the visit.

Must visit spot in Mirissa. It's great if you choose a spot on the shore close to the rock, that way you can have fun and climb up and explore the rocky landscapes behind the rock and then chill in the cooling water by the shore, Definitely had a lot of fun climbing up and down the rock with my family. There's a lot of great photo spots if you climb the rock

Beautiful spot to catch some gorgeous views of the ocean and sunset. Only thing is water is more than waist deep at some places and it’s rocky so beware of that. Mirissa Beach is close by as well, just a short walk along the path.

Parrot Rock, a small rocky island just off the coast of Mirissa Beach in Sri Lanka, is more than just a pretty rock Overall Parrot Rock, is a must-visit for its stunning views, but be prepared for crowds. Visit at low tide for easier access to the rock, Bring sunscreen and a hat for protection. Wear swimwear and water shoes for wading through the shallows

Beautiful clean beech with many shallow rockpools that have a variety of brightly coloured fish and crabs. The bridge is made of bamboo and a little rickety but it was safe. The view was great from the top. We saw many different types of colourful fish, turtles, A large eel and some cuttlefish. We'll worth the very easy climb. The peacock painting on the wall outside the beach is pretty cool and was painted by a local artist. Please hit the like button if you found my review helpful.

🌊 Definitely check this out if you’re in Mirrisa! πŸ”₯ Such stunning views and generally a cool little spot to check out, get views across the whole beach and can watch local fisherman. πŸ—‘οΈ Please don’t litter here, it’s a beautiful piece of nature and deserves to be kept that way! πŸͺ¨I wouldn’t recommend anyone to climb it if you have any mobility difficulties, the steps are a bit rickety, I felt safe enough, just be careful :)

An attractive place among tourists and locals.. A suitable place for swim πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ, surf πŸ„β€β™€οΈ around there..Coz of soil erosion the path to parrot rock has been narrowed. Best place to feel wind.

It's like a small island on the sea. Very nice view. The place was crowded by crows even though it's called parrot rock πŸ˜… Although it's very beautiful.

Great place to visit while you are in Mirissa. 360 degree view of magnificent Mirissa beach. But be careful when you are climbing. It's free of charge and no need to buy tickets

It is an amazing place to catch the beautiful sunset . A tiny tidal island off the coast of Mirissa Beach in Sri Lanka. Where you can sit and get a wonderful view of the palm tree-fringed Mirissa coastline and the blue horizon of the Indian Ocean as well. Anyone can be visited Parrot Rock any time during the day. Only one caution is necessary that if you going to climb parrot Rock, just be assured that "wait untill low Tide" Parrot Rock is just 20 minutes walking from main Mirrissa Beach.

Pictoresque and attractive place in the middle of Mirissa beach area. You approach it through narrow sandstrip with sea on both sides and then you take provisory stairs to reach the top. Here you can have very nice panoramic views on surrounding area, ocean riff and surfers.

Beautiful view surrounded by rocks and crabs. Get there before the sunset to have the best spectacular view.

Cool outcrop and and the bays both sides. Don’t be afraid of the rickety bamboo scaffold on the ridge in, it’s definitely worth the risk for the reward of the views

Nice place, located in Mirissa, Sri Lanka. Can have a nice bath in the sea with good safety. Also a place for surfers to surf. Don't forget to climb to the island located close by to the beach.
