This temple is located in Just 7km from southern expressway. There is a huge Buddha statue. It's height is 80 meters. there is another case temple with an ancient painting. This Budda statue is a very attractive statue of Sri Lanka.

If not for that support, this temple would not be here today. The maintenance work here is done with the help of the visitors. There is no government support. Many social service activities are carried out by this temple and part of this aid is allocated for it. Running two orphanages for boys and girls is the main thing and many other activities are done in addition to this, so give monks some donations.

This temple is simply amazing - the artwork inside is just epic! 500 rupees per person ‘donation’ to enter the temple, we went on a Wednesday morning and were the only people there, a monk took us on a tour explaining some of the artwork and taking us right up to the top floor Well worth a visit - never seen anything like it!
