Amazing location and rooms, but management needs urgent restructure and fixing. Our room was only cleaned when I have went to the reception in the evening and specifically asked for it. This was happening 4 days out of 8. One night we couldnโ€™t sleep, because they ran the diesel generator for one of the houses instead of moving the tourists into the other room. Laundry takes 3 days and two reminders to come back, and some things are getting lost, but then found, when you ask for it. Electricity is failing sometimes, wifi is very glitchy. Donโ€™t forget to get your own water, you donโ€™t get free bottles every day. I have talked to the management team every day about these issues with no improvement. Would not advise going to the jungle beach during weekends. Other days are quite good! Location is quiet and secluded.

It's a great, peaceful place to spend the holiday. It's surrounded by forest and village. No any security point or gate at the entrance. But I feel like it's a safe place to stay. Service is excellent and no words to explain the taste of the meals. We took HB, dinner and breakfast are awesome. Staff always ask how is there service, meals and our experience. They always expect some feedback to improve. That's a good thing for a better service. Owner also very friendly person and he checks the service given by the staff personally. He has a another hotel in Unawatuna, called Thawthisa. I hope that also a good place to stay. If you can walk to the hotel from the main road, that would save some money for you. Because tuk drivers are asking unfair price to the hire.

If you're looking for a truly unique and unforgettable experience, look no further than this amazing jungle hotel. Located in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by beautiful greenery and wildlife, this hotel offers an unparalleled escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of this hotel is the presence of monkeys that can be seen swinging from the trees, adding to the ambiance of the surrounding jungle. It's a truly awe-inspiring experience to be in such close proximity to these incredible creatures. But the real standout feature of this hotel is the food. I must say, it's the best food I have ever had. The meals are prepared with such care and attention to detail that every bite is a mouthwatering experience. The chef is truly talented and creates dishes that are both beautiful and delicious. And the customer service is simply exceptional. The staff, particularly Janith, went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They were always on hand to answer any questions and to provide us with recommendations on things to do in the area. Finally, the hotel's proximity to Jungle Beach is a huge bonus. The beach is beautiful and relatively secluded, offering a peaceful and relaxing escape from the more crowded beaches in the area. In conclusion, I highly recommend this jungle hotel for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. The amazing location, delicious food, and exceptional customer service make this hotel an absolute must-visit.

This is my worst experience in a 4 star hotel. At the time of booking, the full board rate they said 22,500 lkr. But when we arrived at the hotel, they told us that the rate was Half Board Rate. ๐Ÿ™„ There was no vegetarian food in the menu provided for dinner. Later we had to have dinner at another restaurant. The noise of a festival throughout the night disturbed sleep until the early hours of the morning. More than 50% of the dishes on the menu provided for breakfast are unavailable. We did not get the food ordered at 8.30 am even by 10.30 am. Not only that, the bed sheets and the pillow sheets are not clean. Dust all over the room. The staff is not active. This is the worst experience I have ever had in a tourist hotel. ๐Ÿคฎ

Hotel needs major renovations. Chef was not available to order food. Pool is okay but could be improved.

The best place to stay in Unawatuna. Amazing atmosphere, clean and super friendly staff. Just a short walk to jungle beach. Unawatuna is a (beautiful!) 25 min walk away, or reachable with tuktuk in 5 min. Highly recommended!

Superb place to spend your vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The greenery is so relaxing. However the hotel is not maintained properly. However the chef prepares some amazing food.

DO NOT STAY THERE We booked 2 nights in this hotel during our trip to Sri Lanka. We travel with backpacks by bike, we are used to cheap places and not luxury conditions but this experience was something else. In our bunglalow were living rats in walls, running and making noise whole night just above our heads. We couldnโ€™t sleep at all..

Day before yesterday my family booked Jungle Village for a full board one night stay. Everything from the location, rooms, view and food was excellent. The staff was very helpful and courteous too. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Hoping to be back soon.

Great place for a weekend getaway. In the middle of a real jungle and only a few hundred meters away from the beach. Good food and friendly service. Awesome ambience to go with interior. Value for money and highly recommended. Good option over a weekend in a few hours distance from Colombo especially if you're looking for places to explore. Good ambience both outside and inside especially if you're into photography.

This was a beautiful jungle view hotel with budget prices. However it is more worthy to get room only and order ala carte.

We stayed our last days from our holidays at the jungle village and it was a good choice! The place is in the middle of the jungle, 10 minutes with the tuktuk from town. The rooms are special, clean and looking into the jungle garden and the swimming pool. The staff and the management are doing everything to make there guest welcome and feeling good. The breakfast was so good and very healthy. The cook is fantastic! From the hotel you can make a nice walk to a beautiful temple and to the beachesin Unawatuna. Our family had a wonderful stay!

We arrived for 2 nights and then we stayed longer since we really felt in love with this place. Rooms are very comfortable, the staff is really nice and breakfast is super good (we tasted many traditional Sri Lankan breakfast dishes). Walking around in the jungle was my way for starting each day, it is full of beautiful plants, flowers and animals. It is close to beautiful beaches and to the Peace Pagoda.

BEWARE OF THIS RESORT! SCAM! They are big SCAMMERS! You book for a certain price and pay via Agoda, but then on the day of the check-in they demand more money and they donโ€™t let you in. For us, they demanded 70$ per night instead of the 25$ we paid to Agoda. BE CAREFUL! They were also very unfriendly and tried to put the blame on us. The thing is, we were in contact with them for 1 week before check in, and they only mentioned this on the last day. The person who talked to us also didnt want to disclose their name or anything! Does anyone know how to report such cases to the authorities . Saw this on Facebook marketplace

This place is completely scam. Not worth even half this price. Dirty, stinking in the rooms. Swimming area wasn't cleaned after night parties, same swimming pool. Shower didn't work properly. Bed was smell badly same in the rooms. Management doesn't care. Whole area looks like building site. Terrible experience.
