I should say it is one of the best beaches in sri lanka with a natural pool with a a coral reef. It is a very safe place for bath. Can have a wonderful evening with kids and your loved ones. Calm and relaxing. Not everyone knows that there are a couple of sea turtle peacefully swimming .You can take some sea plants and feed them. They are very friendly and will swim by your side. I think it remains beautiful, unspoiled and virgin because it is not very popular. I wish I knew about this earlier. This is very mesmerizing in the evening with the sunset. Next to it there is the ship rock, as the name says has the shape of a ship naturally from one side. It is flat rock. You can even climb it but have to be careful.

Great beach. There are safe places for bathing which are covered with a reef. It’s difficult to find the entrance for the beach. Nowadays this is fully crowed with both foreigners and locals. Don’t miss the sunset at here . Also there are a few rope swings near the beach.Lots of restaurants and villas around the beach offer services for both foreign and local travelers.

Beautiful relatively unknown small beach close to Delawella. You can rent the sunbeds from the Thotupola cafe which has yummy food and great service. Sunbeds are half the price of Delawella and you can see turtles feeding in the ocean right in front. There's also a swing that you can take a photo on for 300 rupees. Much for peaceful than Delawella. Great for an afternoon of reading, tanning and turtle watching.

One of a most beautiful beach in Sri Lanka. With a wide and long beach with a soft white sand. It has so long rock and corel reef with few huge rocks witch are shown in below images. It makes a safe basing (a pool) to bath carefully. This place is so good for have bath with kids. Beautiful fish, sea plants and sea molluscas are lived in this reef and you can watch them easily and safely. Large number of hotels and resorts are situated in front of the beach and they're spread from cheap to luxury. You must visit this place at least once in your life.

One of the very safe beaches to bathe in Sri Lanka. There is a sea pool without waves and deep areas. This beach is narrow and there are hotels and restaurants along the beach. Usually, You can see turtles around there. snorkeling equipment is available there and you can see coral reefs and turtles. Mihiripanna beach has been crowded with tourists these days.

One of the beautiful beach in SL Safe for bathing

Lovely beach just minutes from Unuwatuna. The sunset is amazing here and for now the beach is not yet crowded. You can also find a swing here and it costs 500 rupees to use it. If you come late afternoon you can also see the stilt fishing in action, I was totally blown away by it! 🥰

One of My Favorite beach in sri lanka. Its better place for kids. No any rush. Beautiful trees and rocks there. Nice Hotels available near the beach. U can taste great sea foods. Also surfing.

It’s a good beach for a swim with the family. Very safe place with so much corals. It consist with a fair bit of space in which you can play or sunbathe if required.
