Great stay, super friendly and helpful Australian owner. Very underated place in Unawatuna and great value. Keep your balcony windows closed in the afternoon or you might have some room guests

My family and I stayed a night at the No Name Rest and it was amazing! The hotel went above and beyond our expectations. The rooms and bathrooms were pristine and the rooms were also fully air-conditioned - a god send for the humid warm nights. The lovely owner John made sure we were comfortable and attended to all of our requests. The traditional breakfast provided was de-li-cious! 10/10 would recommend this hotel so go and show some love to a fellow Aussie neighbour!

Really nice hotel. Fantastic hosts and staff. Nice big airy rooms. The best WiFi I experienced in Sri Lanka. Breakfast is plentiful. Good location with lots of restaurants and bars close by. Best thing we're the hosts who really look after you and make sure you have a good start.

The hotel is just spectacular with spacious rooms, a remarkable garden view from the vast balcony and the owners’ hospitality and friendliness. Be sure John and Renuka will do their best to make you feel comfortable at their place. Add a proximity to the beach and restaurants and a plenty of parking space and you will get the best value for money deal in the bay of Unawatuna. Thank you so much, guys, hope to see you again!

Large, comfortable and well furnished rooms with lovely balcony shaded by palm trees, we loved watching the monkeys, birds and squirrels! Lovely, helpful hosts who make it feel like a home from home. A few steps away from the beautiful beach. The Wi-Fi is excellent too!

Very good location, nice and kind staff and spotless clean! They separate the toilet from the shower, so the toilet never get wet! :D Both room has a sink + an another in the room (beautiful!) They have a restaurant (Maalu) as well, with a seafood BBQ every night. Highly recommended place! ;)

This was a good place to stay and I would recommend it. The owner is nice and it is a short walk to the beach. The rooms are basic but nice and the AC works well.

Room was clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We were the in off season and there was a bit of construction going on in the grounds and the place felt like a ghost town.

Friendly people. Great food and super sized rooms with nice furniture. Great for families or romantic couples.

We very at the evening .we hurry to go party and we just wanna get a room and take wash that's all we need to do we haven't sleep in room.theyre charge rs.12000/- for one family room.for sure that's more the rate . After we check to room some foreign old men inform that do not make party here and we feel really uncomfortable already . After that we oder food one fried rice and noodles it's take 2 hr to make and food not good .better to get food from other restaurant . Stuff of local at hotel theyre don't know how to treat geuest. Room not clean every black ands. So many nice hotels around try other place .

Perfect quiet and wonderful place. I’ll miss it so much. Thanks John for such a good place to my long staying!
