The service was very bad. Infact, there were no services at all..the room was over charged, the owner was no where to be seen. It is very unsafe. I woke up with a stranger man in my bed who refused to go until there were three of us chasing him away. I wanted to talk about it to the owner the next day but it wasn't a big surprise when he wasn't around. Not only him, there were literally no one around. Sucks. The toilet wa dirty and the water stopped coming, making the situation worse. There were no place to charge the phone. Very untidy, very unsafe. Wouldn't recommend for anyone. Owner was very unfriendly and he started drinking with his friends after we went to hotel. Then he was trying to disturb us and in the night water was stopped. When we searched for owner he was sleeping in a room and we had to give a huge effort to wake him up. Then he was blaming us saying we are disturbing his sleep. Room charges were doubled when we were paying. We spoked to him before going to hotel, about price. Very unsatisfied with this hotel

Very Bad staff, We had no water at night, when we ask for water he blamed at us and he was drunk, don't even think of going to this hotel.

Excellent unique experience in a quiet sleepy fishing town. This is ideal for a romantic out, also ideal for solo traveler who wants to relax and read a book in the hammock while enjoying the sun/beach with a glass of beer . Food : - Not much fancy eat-outs around but if you want to experience local food there are plenty of small shops to try Hoppers , string hoppers, tea etc.. Transport : - As this place in the Collombo-Galle highway, its easy to get a bus/min-bus to either Galle or Colombo. Staff : Owner is very helpful , speak English. Very casual guy and happy to buy groceries or alcohol on his motorcycle.

This place was our first place to stay in Sri Lanka and we were welcomed so well. Maike and his friends are awesome and such great hosting. We were even taken into his family home during the tropical storm Ockhi and made sure we were safe and looked after 10/10. Thank you Maike

Amazing experience and one of the best accommodations at an unbelievably low price. The owners are very nice, offering not only a pleasurable stay but also an interesting conversation. There is a bar and food service available at the premises, I can especially recommend the mermaid drink. May be a bit further from the city centre but there is a bus stop right outside of the place. Amazing views, amazing vibe, highly recommended.

Awesome place to have a chilled out weekend. Really liked the decor and vibe. It's right next to the beach and is not too crowded. There is a reggae bar right next door where alot of travelers come hang out. The owners are chilled out and nice guys. The food is good as well although the prices are a bit expensive. Def a place I would go back to with my small circle. Highly recommend.

Simple, peaceful, very chill place to stay and hang by the beach. Management is very kind and helpful, other visitors were interesting, food is not bad, and beach is perfect sand, medium sized waves fun for swimming, and very unpopulated!

Nice place, yet a bit disappointing. Frequent electricity breakdowns, only one bathroom, bed bugs a stray dogs hanging around. Staff is really nice though.
