Amazing place… they having nice instructors and nice equipments. It was my first dive. Had a amazing and safe experience with them. It was 1 hour primary training about technics. Then boat ride was around 20 mins and we was underwater around whole 45mins with was so amazing. Had a amazing and safe time with them. Highly recommend them for beginners.

We had a great experience here! We followed the PADI Open Water Diver course for 3 days. They send us the theoretical material in advance so we were able to prepare and make sure we lost less time while there. The first day we received a lot of explanation and did several exercises in a pool. The second day we went into the sea for 2 dives (+- 10m) and the third day we went deeper (+- 18m) for 2 dives as well. We passed the exam and got our certificate. Very happy with the experience and instructor, definitely recommend!

One of my bucket list come true with Sundiving scuba. I had a great experience in scuba diving. They provide a good training before the actual diving. And at the last you were in deep water and can't image the underwater view. Value for money. I must recommend to everyone visiting sri lanka for scuba diving should go with the sun diving.

Highly Satisfied and Recommend. It was my first experience and they made it the best. Don't get afraid from the trainings, it's not scary as it sounds 😁 Few Tips from my experience. 1. Try to go on a Week Days, so that there'll be less crowd and you can spend more time under water. 2. Have a light or no meal before you start coz some it may cause Sea Sick. 3. Don't drink any Milk item, it'll make you vomit. 4. Morning times are the best for Scuba Diving. 5. Dive with the instructor who has the best GoPro for a better photo shoot🙈🤪(I recommend Salin) 6. Try an App called DivePlus for a best Underwater photo editing.

If you want to try out diving at Unawatuna, Sri Lanka, this is a great place. They have affordable packages and the guys are really friendly and helpful. Be cautious of the seasons that you're planning on diving tho. We went on a quite stormy day, with heavy rains and a somewhat moody sea. Boat ride was rocky, under sea it was turbulent, thus making our gopro shots cloudy. The experience otherwise was remarkable and the place is highly recommended.

Great place to explore and try out diving in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka. The staff is very supportive and has good knowledge in their domain. For beginners, you can have a roughly 40 minutes session in a maximum depth of 12m without having any prior experience in diving or even swimming. A diving master will accompany you and even take underwater photographs of you. It can be challenging at times, but definitely worth the experience. They also offer other advanced certification courses for those who want to explore diving more.

It was a amazing experience at sun diving center. The staff is very friendly and understanding. They always try to give you the best diving experience. They are little bit busy on weekends. So always try to go on a weekday. It'll help you to get a clam experience. And always remember to reserve your seat before you go.

I completed my Open water diver course with a sun diving center and they supported me to cover the theory and practical lessons properly. If you hope to complete your OWD you should do the knowledge reviews before you arrive there. I can highly recommend them to do every PADI course with them. They have friendly and qualified dive masters and they very much care about divers.

A passion that has been around for a long time. Went today. A great experience for life. The coaches are very good. Friendly. Everything is explained. The sea goes to a depth of about 10 meters. It includes a ship, a motorcycle, a statue and more. There were lots of colorful fish. They take pictures of us. I did not receive the video.🙁 Will be back.😋😊

Very professional and reassuring for first time divers. We did the discovery beginners scuba diving session. A good briefing done on land, followed by a practice in shallow sea, then a dive up to 12m to see a ship wreck, statues and fish. Minosh was our scuba instructor and he was great. Always checking to see if we were okay and very knowledgeable. We were given water bottles after the dive and a tea when we were back at the beach.

Great diving school! 🤗 I completed my OWD here last week and was very well looked after. The guys do a great job and you can feel a pleasant family vibe. I felt very safe at all times and my needs were taken into account. I can recommend Sun Diving Sri Lanka without hesitation. Thank you for everything! You are great 🙂❤️

Good diving center with nice and helpful staff. After the somewhat chaotic and cheerful start of the day at 8:30 a.m. with trying on equipment, checking equipment, forming groups and briefing, we then head straight across the beach into the boats. Most dive sites can be reached in 10-25 minutes. The boat staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We did most of the dives with 2 divemasters. Between dives we briefly return to land. We dived for 5 days with two dives each in the early and late morning. The visibility was quite good, not too much coral and fish, but still very nice. Points are scored with several wrecks in close proximity at 30-20 meters. We enjoyed diving with the Sun Divers.

Fantastic dive centre, all the staff are really knowledgeable and really nice. I have an advanced adventurer certificate but it's been 2 years since I went diving. My girlfriend had only dived once before and it was shallow water. Our instructor took us both to shallow water to have a refresher tutorial which was really informative. Following this and learning basic techniques we went off to the dive site for our fun dive. I was fine and got the hang of it again quickly, but my girlfriend needed extra help. Luckily our dive instructor was brilliant and stuck with her the whole time keeping her calm and making sure she was safe and felt comfortable. Overall this dive school is professional and they are great people, I can highly recommend them.

No doubts, this is the perfect place to dive. Beginners are given a full training, everything is explained perfectly. Sun Diving has the most experienced divers and they are very friendly. Their service is so good, everything is taken care of. I did diving with them twice. Every time was a perfect dive with them. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a diving session.

Professional, friendly, efficient service. The dives were well-priced and it was easy to communicate with the staff. We loved being able to relax at the comfortable dive shop between dives and enjoy some hot tea. Would recommend!

I guy we spoke with in Kalutara advised we visited Shan from the Unawatuna Sun Diving Center. We showed up at the dive center, which turned out to be on a beach, by a bar and restaurant... and with an international group of Dutch, Polish, British Dive guides and a puppy Golder Retriever :). What a Blast, easy to work with, easy to arrange the dives, nice facilities, fantastic dives... We liked the experience so much that we continued visiting for 4 days. Great location, nice diving spots, amazing staff... and THE best espresso we have found in the country (and some other countries as well). Joke aside, we were travelling several hours a day just to be there and spend some time with the team. Shan, Asia, Jess, Madhu and the whole team. You rock guys! Thanks for the for the wonderful experience! You are legends!

I just starte my Scuba Journey in Feb 2023 and want to persue the same in future. After lot of research I selected Sun Diving and my decision wa correct. I had one of the bwat experience. U dont feel like u r visiting a shop it like u r with your gang and planning dives. The team is amazing. I highly recommend others to visit this place and continue your scuba journey.

I have now dived with a number of dive schools. My experience with Sun Diving was good and also a little disappointing. My initial impression of the team was positive. On arrival everyone was helpful, the kit in good order, and the dive briefing adequate. Unfortunately however the dive itself was disappointing and very short. The dive master leading the dive appeared not in my opinion experienced enough. The dive lasted only 35 mins (not because of any divers air), but I would suggest because his knowledge of the area was too limited, and after this time frame he had nothing else to show? In fact my favorite part was seeing a turtle on the way to the dive site - which I would like to add, was not even acknowledged by the boat driver or dive crew , who actually almost drove straight over the poor thing — not the watchers and guardians of the ocean, I have seen previously, and now come to expect of a Dive school. In summary I can see this is a well run organization, but unfortunately my experience was below expectation. Picking the right dive master is my number one take home from this trip.

Lovely team, my friend got certified here. They really did the best to make us comfortable, ensure we feel safe and take care of us. The current and surge was a bit bad on some of our dives but this was out of their control. I would highly recommend getting certified here

Went for scuba diving with 2 of my friends.The team was very helpful and professional.

It is a must try experience and these guys are pro’s at it. Sali and Tharuka who accompanied us were super friendly and helpful while maintaining professionalism at all times. The rest of the crew although didn’t mingle with us much, they too were helpful and friendly. They don’t have parking at the place but they will help you find parking at a near by location if you require for a small fee.

Very nice place to make a dive and see the underwater life in the sea of southern island. The dive masters there are very nice people with very good vives! All my impression is very positive

Amazing dive centre done 8 days diving all the staff very good and friendly. The equipment was good too. There was a good selection of dive sights and was very lucky to see my first whale shark it was really cool. I would highly recommend diving with these if in the area.

Sun diving diving center is quite simply exceptional. They have a very professional service while remaining flexible and wholesome. While doing my advanced open water certification, their experienced and skilled dive masters gave me exceptional training and communicated very clearly through all procedures.
