The Sea is stunning and the place amazing. If you close one eye, or both, you can almost forget for a moment how rude the staff is, how dirty the beach and unbearable the sea. I understand it's not their fault if the sea is literally black with algae. But they should at least offer something to the people that came here and found themselves in what looks like a junkyard. They don't offer reimbursement and I get it, but at least make an effort to keep the rest of the beach clean, offer discounted prices or a drink! They cannot live off the stunning panorama, it's a shame.

Absolutely gorgeous, sea is crystal emerald colours all along the coast for miles, will get a bit pricey during high season but still totally worth. A very positive experience, we all loved it. If you are lucky enough to get down here and you like to lavish a bit, then try to hire a beech Pagodas, from Lido Pizzo. It will make your day to remember. Enjoy your holiday.

When the wind is right it is beautiful, when not, the sea is dirty... However the place is always well kept and the restaurant/bar is good. Parking is paid for but then again there is no admittance fee

Pay €5 to park. Pay €31 for umbrella and 2 sun loungers. Beach was only ok. Lots of debris from the forest on the shore and in the water. Water in general was crystalline but I've been at many a better beach for far less money.

Lovely beach with shallow waters stretching out far so great for kids. Parking €4. Didn't hire beds. The entrance to the water around the restaurants has quite a bit of seaweed so would recommend walking further up the beach where the waters are clear. Lovely views of Gallipoli in the distance

6 € for parking (too away from the beach). more or less 50€ for umbrella and 2 sun loungers. If you want to enjoy the free beach you have to walk for hundreds meters with all beach stuff. really bad

Pros: Amazing water, wild surrounding, view on the old city of Gallipoli, super quiet in September and good food. Cons: far from the city if you don't have a car, a bit pricey, you have to pay for the parking

You should avoid the bar and restaurant of Lido Pizzo. While the beach and the water are stunning, one of the best place I’ve ever seen, the service of the restaurant is obnoxious! It looks like they don’t want clients around. While we were at the table, the waiters kept coming telling us we couldn’t stay there, because we had to order something. But this happened AFTER we already ordered coffee, gelato, water, beer and payed the service fee (30%!!)

One of the lifeguard staff there was the rudest person I've met so far in Italy, with a touch of racist also thrown in the mix. Ruined what was otherwise a pretty good day. Prices are bit high at 15 euro a person for umbrella and Bed but knowntgeybhave different sections wherebthe cheapest wa 10 euro a person.

Try to get nearer the bar as the C section has a lot of seaweed. Even allowing for this the sea was clean and warm. Staff were brilliant and their translator was a Star.

Lido Pizzo, is a amazing, if you are in the area don't miss it, also nice bar and restaruant on the beach. I love to stay under Pagodas to relax. here you can really recharge batteries. Colors are incredible, withe sands, water with all the color you can imagine, green pine forest as backgrounds of thi marvel of the nature.

Our experience with the Lido Pizzo was terrible! Despite the fact that the nature surrounding the area and the beach is beautiful, the day we went, unfortunately the sea was “dirty” with lots of algae’s (that of course was not their fault!) But their service sucks! You pay for the Lido and there is no beach service! You have to find your way and they sent us far way from the bar, even though was almost empty! We went for lunch at the restaurant and the service was awful… The menu says one thing and they bring you other! Before we order we inquired if the fish on the Tuna and Pesce Spada carpaccio was a fresh fish (and the waiter said yes!) but when it came to the table was a smoked fish (affumicato!!!) completely different taste than fresh fish carpaccio! We order other dish “Fritti de mare” was supposed to come with fried calamari and shrimp and they made only with shrimp, we complained and the admitted their mistake, brought us another “correct plate” but even so I did not enjoy lunch (too much followed mistakes…) Not worth going!

This could be a beautiful beach but they make no attempt to clean the debris and seaweed and still charge full prices. 42Euro for three people to sit on a seaweed pile and not able to enter the water is not worth it.
