We had such a bad and disappointing experience at palazzo Presta. First, at check in they supposedly “upgraded” us to a junior suite. This room actually had no window!! Hard to believe this is even an option in a holiday destination and sold as a junior suite ? We were then moved to a room in another property called Palazzo Flora. Completely different style than what we booked. Charmless room and bathroom (see pictures), and our outside space was like a small hole. On the second day our AC stopped working in the evening. The answer from the receptionist was that we just had to wait for the next day and she could not do anything about it despite the 30 degrees temperature. ZERO empathy and wish to help. It’s only after putting strong pressure that we got her to give us another room in the same category (hotel was not even full!!). Several details were disappointing for a hotel that pretends to be luxurious. Note that parking is really complicated in gallipoli and we had no other choice than to park 20 minutes away and pay 11 euros per night. On the nice side: decoration of the common areas is very stylish. Breakfast is very nice and the staff in the morning is extremely friendly. But we would discourage anyone of booking this overpriced and unfriendly property. Probably when everything goes as planned and you’re lucky it is a nice experience. But when things don’t go as planned, prepare for the worst !

Palazzo Presta is nice hotel in the centre of town. You can park the car at the harbour and get a trolley service from the hotel in case of luggage. The rooms have a very unique interior design. Very nice. The terrace and the sun deck are excellent. The staff is fery friendly and helpfull. 100% recommendation

I was disappointed with the breakfast staff manager. The front desk staff Gabriela was outstanding, and the golf cart service and driver were a pleasant surprise.

Very very good service and recommendations given by the staff. Convenient location and luggage transfer from and to nearest parking lot for free. Rooms are with unconventional beautiful design, smart TV and high quality amenities and products. Roof top bar is nice and cozy with relaxing music, without being noisy or pretentious.

Excellently located in the center of Gallipoli, Palazzo Presta presents itself with large elegant astutely decorated rooms with a minimalistic touch. The breakfast terrace well-staffed with fine service. The Restaurant is a must, food one of a kind, the Primitivo wine just excellent and the maître very qualified., Most import compliments go to Samuele and his staff for the caring and attention given to our needs. Thanks to Samuele and his daily detailed itineraries, prepared exclusively for us, we were able to visit places in Salento that we would never have thought of. Grazie Samuele and Staff.

This is a small boutique hotel in the historical center with incredible staff. Awesome different styled rooms. Modern TV equipment with Netflix. Two terraces with a roof top terrace. Breakfast is fresh, very lovely presented and with everything you would expect from the italian kitchen. The dinner restaurant is fabulous as well: fresh seafood, very nice local handmade pasta and presented like heaven 👍👍👍 Vegetarian food if you ask the chef - they will do everything for you 😊 if you ask nice 🎉. Again to mention is the awesome staff - restaurant as well as the hotel - so friendly, helpful, attentive and very well organized - just perfect. They will also take you to the car parking wit a small caddy to the port (because there is no parking at the hotel directly). I recommend to stay here to everyone who is visiting Gallipoli and search a special stay with welcoming treatment.

Stunning! Fantastic hotel and would be happy to go back time and time again. Superb rooms, all different and amazing and a great roof terrace for breakfast, sunbathing and cocktails. Reception couldn't do more to help us if they tried. Highly recommended

A tasteful decorated and renovated Palazzo right in the historic centre. Individually decorated and spacious rooms, delicious (sweet and savory) breakfast on a stunning rooftop terrace. Super friendly and multilingual staff. Bonus for the golf cart pickup 👍

First, I would like to say that I try to avoid leaving negative reviews if I can absolutely help it as it has a significant impact on businesses. However, this one is necessary. I’ll start with the positives - the rooms are very spacious and comfy and the location is fantastic for exploring Gallipoli old town. The hotel also help pick up your luggage (and the individual who helped us was very friendly and obviously working really hard as they were also cleaning rooms that day!). However, the service is terrible, if not non existent. On arrival, our room was not ready and we had to wait just under an hour for it (past the check in time) despite us giving them over 2 hours warning of our arrival time. I appreciate things may happen but this was not explained to us (and there was no apology) until I questioned what was going on. On our first full day our room was not cleaned even at 4pm when we had been out all day before that. We then tried to go to the hotel bar in the evening, which said it opened at 6pm. By quarter past 6 the bar was still not open and the waiters completely ignored us (even after someone who worked at the hotel let the bartender know there were customers here) so we ended up walking out and going somewhere else. Breakfast was also open late (although service was ok once we did get let in). Overall service is poor and I regret to say I would 100% not recommend.

We had a nice stay at this hotel in the lovely town of Gallipoli. The rooftop bar is very nice and the hotel is well located. For the price, I think it is a good value. We paid quite a bit more for similar hotels in other parts of Puglia. The rooms are a good size though they are starting to show a little wear and tear. The breakfast is fine, but not amazing. I would recommend the hotel.
