Moderately nice location. Service is absolutely horrible. Never have a come to a hotel and been snapped at by employees for asking simple questions that any employee should be able to answer. I’m not sure if they feel insulted that they don’t know simple info about their place of employment(which is absolutely embarrassing). So as a result they snap at their guests. The large lady behind the bar should not be in customer service, the way she snapped at me was absolutely ridiculous and if my wife and son were not with me, I would be having a discussion with her manager right now. 0 out of 10 don’t recommend unless you like being treated poorly for no reason. I’d recommend some employee changes here.

Room was clean but I have to give 2 stars. The main reason we chose to stay here was for the indoor pool that looks great in pictures however when we got there the pool and the hot tub were super cloudy/dirty we did not want to risk out health as we also noticed the permits to operate have expired since 1/31/22 about 6 months ago

Clean, modern hotel with good service and a full bar and restaurant. I’ve stayed 4 times and it’s definitely the best hotel in Gallup. They have nice showers, could use better pillows though (they were thin and offered no support for those that like to sleep with a mountain of pillows like me). Shout out to Yonnie at the front desk who offered great customer service! Also shout out to the bartender who did a great job managing a full bar and restaurant. I would have given them both a direct review but I lost the staff survey form they gave out.

My first choice of a hotel when staying in Gallup having tried two other chain hotels in the area. I’ve stayed here 4 times and have been pleased with each stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is right off I40 and near several restaurants.

I normally stay in I they were booked up. Reserved at Gallup instead. The bed was nice, but the furniture (chair/ottoman and bench) was so stained that I chose to not even leave my luggage on them. There was a broken tile in the bathroom that was loose, not dangerous, but startled me when walking on it.

    1. Room 316 was clean. 2. Continental Breakfast was excellent. 3. Clogged toilet. Staff got it fixed fast. 4. Pool was too cold 5. The Hot Tub was to hot and full of chemicals. Like swimming in brine. Overall good experience.

This inn is conveniently located off the 40, surrounded by other hotels, restaurants and commerce. Our third floor suite overlooked a massive Home Depot parking lot, with a Walmart visible to the west. The space was fantastic and welcome; we were on the first leg of a cross-country move with two cats (yep, we paid the hefty fee to have them in the room) and they were able to work out some energy. They really did enjoy the vista of Home Depot. The front lobby had a small luggage cart that was great for moving their cage. The entry room includes a fold out bed, chair, TV, and kitchenette-bar with a mini fridge (no freezer) and coffee pot. There is an attached bathroom. The bedroom has another TV and a larger bathroom with a shower and separate jetted tub. The shower got hot fast and had great water pressure, but the door didn’t completely close and so some water puddled outside. The hairdryer had a strong burnt popcorn smell but worked as intended. My husband used the exercise room and found key equipment to be broken or missing, and there only two towels available. There were no wipes to cleanse things. We didn’t have issues with noises within the hotel, but trains could be heard through the night and it sounded like someone used a leaf blower in the Home Depot lot from about 3 to 3:30AM. Check out was fast in the morning, and we again used a cart to move our cats and gear to the car.

I love Hilton, mostly because of their beds are so comfortable. I know you pay more for a Hilton compared to it budget hotel, but what is the value of a good night's sleep? This Hilton was clean. The staff was responsive, the kitchen and bar were surprisingly busy!

Checked into hotel. Asked about food to eat. I was told the restaurant had a limited menu. Decided to get food from Cracker Barrel. Sat in the lobby with the food, but I was told we could not eat the food in the lobby. Never had this happen before at any hotel. The lobby was always a place for guest to use. I asked why and they said it just became policy. Asked to see the policy, but it was not written anywhere. Ask to see the manager, front desk person went in the back to get the manager but then came back a minute later and said the manager was not present. Terrible hospitality!!

Traveling across the US, have stopped at hilton garden inn. The room was very nice, though a lot of noise carries from some of the rooms. The booking in staff were a pleasure. The downside however we're the kitchen staff, miserable, and the breakfast was awful. I paid $12.95 for a bit of scrambled egg, some potatoes, and a couple of sausages. They used 1 egg, 2 cocktail sausages and the potato must have been a whole half inch cube. For the money I thought it was disgusting. If you book at this hotel bring your own breakfast. I would like to add that I took a carry out to the room as I have dogs. Is this the reason the kitchen staff could not be bothered. It ruined an otherwise enjoyable stay. Not impressed

I travel through NM a few times a year, and always stay at this hotel while traveling. It’s super clean, the employees are always very nice and it has a nice bar and great food. It’s also pet friendly, probably the best Hilton/Hampton we stay in while driving from California to Ohio every year.

Hotel is clean. Bed is is a bit too firm. Continental breakfast is an extra $12. Rooms have a microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig. All the plugs everywhere are helpful. Hotel is centrally located. The restaurant and bar in the lobby are a nice convenience. The pool is small. Herman is always kind and helpful. I appreciate the staff here. Feels cozy and comfortable. I usually bring my own water bottle and refill it in the fitness room. Oh I saw a washing machine and dryer by the pool if that info is useful for anyone.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at the staff was rude and hateful. I'm genuinely shocked by the 4.2 rating I think the only reason it has it is because it's the only hotel in 50 miles. Honestly the staff were horrible and the place it's self was disgusting. I'm surprised the Hilton would even put the name on this place. This place needs some serious management changes.

We are traveling cross country with our 2 cats and stayed here very late arrival the night auditor was nice room was nice as well and breakfast was subpar for $10 thankfully as a Diamond member it was waived as part of my benefits the only bad thing I have to say is housekeeping knocking at our door at 9:30AM! to see if we had left I understand they need to get rooms cleaned but have the decency to at least wait til later maybe 30 minutes before the actual check out time.

I Absolutely love staying at this hotel when we visit with family, the customer service from the day we check-in to the day we check-out is excellent! The rooms are nice and clean. If you forget anything the concierge is happy to bring you what you need. The location is excellent, close to shopping and restaurants too! My family and I were taken care of very well. Thank you.

Arrived at 4:30 pm, was told that the housekeepers walked out and that our room wasn’t ready. I wouldn’t have complained if I hadn’t already traveled for 10 hours. In our room, a couple of the lamps weren’t working, the shower curtain was missing some of the rings and also torn, there was no pool towels, there was no towels in the workout room as well. Tried waiting for the towels to arrive for the pool but they never did. The chair had stains on it. For a Hilton I expected a better experience.

As a diamond member, Its hard for me to give a Hilton property a 5 star rating but this one is well deserved. From check in to check out, rooms, and even the restaurant/bar area. In the morning i had my brand of green tea with actual hot water. The kicker was housekeeping didnt walk in on me in the a.m. and respected my privacy. Thats odd for Hilton properties. The only downfall was it did take about 45 min to get my food but then the bartender didnt charge me for it which was a great gesture. Last note: there is a great patio area thats awesome to enjoy your morning. I WILL be back

The staff was friendly but this was one of the most unimpressive Hilton properties I've stayed at. There was a Halls cough drop under the sink and there was Panda Express trash between the bed and the nightstand. Makes you wonder how well the rest of the room was cleaned. half of the shower curtain rings were torn or missing, just looked trashy. the rear parking lot was very icy and needed some ice melt or something thrown down. I was expecting much more considering the price we paid.

The best hotel experience we have had in a long time! The lobby is beautiful! Herman was absolutely phenomenal at check in. He greeted us with a smile, and was very accommodating to our requests- truly going the extra mile for us. This hotel is pet friendly and kid friendly! Alicia was our waitress for room service - she was lovely and FAST (maybe 15 min for 3 meals). Their restaurant was excellent: we ordered the salmon, pasta prima vera, and buffalo wings - DELICIOUS. The rooms are sparkling clean: beds are so comfortable, good size pillows, nice Samsung TV w/ dish...QUIET. my daughter and I had the pool and hot tub area to ourselves! The pool was WARM & the jacuzzi was HOT! A very clean and updated exercise room. Overall I am SMITTEN with this hotel. I will be staying with Hilton from now on. The other hotels are not worth the headache.

Phenomenal stay. All the stay were extremely kind and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. But the star of the show was the kitchen staff. The food was excellent and they were smiling the whole time we dined.

It was just okay. For the money paid, breakfast should have been included, but it wasn’t. The bath tub was so slick that I slipped and my husband had to put towels down to keep himself from slipping and falling. And we ordered room service because we were exhausted. They forgot the cheese on the cheeseburger. I called and politely inquired. They said they’d call back to remedy it and never did. Not great customer service. I could stay in a lower star hotel and have a better experience.

Good staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Perfect for our needs. Only stopped for the night and rushed off in the AM. I will stay here again.

(Please forgive me if I've spelled her name wrong) Lurcea was at the front desk when I checked in. There were several people checking in, as well as other guests that were needing some form of assistance. She got everyone situated quickly, and never seemed frantic or bothered. The rooms were clean and the hotel was nice and quiet. There were also 2 nice seating areas outside, as well as plenty of places to sit to work, eat, etc on the inside. Overall it was a very nice place from what I experienced. I only stayed 1 night.

First got there and had to wait 1&1/2 hours to get a room was told they were under staff The General Manager should have been helping clean the rooms for the guest. There were pets allowed in the dining area (which is a health code violation) and (these pets were NOT service animals) Had pet feces inside the front door. This hotel definitely went to the dogs.

Great day, we checked in about the time the Alabama football game came on, unpacked chilled, and went to enjoy a meal during halftime and continue to watch the game next door. Took a nice relaxing shower, slept like a baby and enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next morning. Ended up doing my bicycle and Stacey did her morning walk in the fitness room and shortly after that we got on the road and drove another 10 hours to our destination in Mexico. Thanks for this day and helping a weary traveler that needed a rest.

I didn't have high expectations for this Hotel when I booked. Major factor I chose this hotel is pet friendly & I'm glad I did. This place is clean no pet smells, stains or hair, staff is friendly, the bar restaurant area was spacious & the food was good, dinner salad fresh & cold. I plan to stop here again. Thank you Hilton for providing a clean Hotel that is pet friendly.
