Be aware it's a total scam! On August 15th 2023, I called the front desk to make a reservation 1 hour before I checked in. I spelled my name in the call. When I arrived at the front desk, he couldn't find my reservation and suggested that I might booked a room in Days Inn in another location. The phone number I called the front desk was through Google search. So I showed the number I called in, he said he didn't know the number, it was not their number. I had no way, so in the hall of the front desk, I just called the number, and it was ringing, but he turned off without even picking up. Firstly I thought he was helping other customers and he has no time to pick up the call. Then after some time I called again, still the phone was ringing and he turned off. This repeated 3/4 times. Then we asked him this was the right number I called you, why didn't you picking up??? Has had no words! He was lying and cheating! Still he insisted that he couldn't find the name in the system, so that I could not check in. Eventually we left and found another hotel instead. But next day I found out that it charged me on my credit card, so I called the customer service, they found out that the front desk misprint my name on the reservation, but the customer service found my reservation through my phone number I offered, the question is if the customer service could find my reservation via my phone number, why can't the front desk?? So the customer service apologized to me and said she would refund me. But the next day, when I checked my credit card activities, instead of refund from Days Inn, it charged me twice... then I called the customer service again, the lady said she would reverse the both charges, but the result was that she charged one more time. I feel I had no way to deal with this hotel, but to dispute all the charges... Worst hotel even!

The good-Has very bright parking lot lights. Good staff. Don't stay here! You better off sleeping in your car at a truck stop. This hotel and rooms are in less than poor condition. I'm surprised it's even open. I slept in my clothes! I didn't even stand around to take pictures! I left as soon as it was light out.

We stopped for the night and decided on this hotel as you can park right outside your door rather than going into the hotel to get to your room. The room was surprisingly big and the bed, pillows and blanket/sheets were very comfortable. The towels were fluffy and smelled clean. The bathtub didn’t look big but it was wider than standard tubs. For just a couple dollars more than where we usually go, I am happy we stayed. Check in was easy and the lady checking me in was nice and friendly.

Everything in New Mexico is trash. Like why does this state exist. Traveling through and had the worst experiences at not just one but 2 days inn. I'm speaking from anger on a high level and I just don't care to see the good. After driving to get to Arizona and sleep deprived and in pain doesn't help. I just want to relieve the same energy I give out and none of that was met and quality over all was poor. Seems to be a running gag for the state so I'm definitely not surprised. It's not that hard to do your job.

Price was ✅️, but you get what you pay for. Bathroom door didn't close properly. Trim pieces in places were missing. Exterior was freshly painted. Pool was closed & fenced off, and the fence had seen better days. It was clean. Front desk person was nice.

THIS PROPERTY IS UNSAFE! OVER HALF IS CURRENTLY CONDEMED and the other part should be!! This Days Inn is one step above a homeless encampment. The grounds, the buildings and the rooms are absolutely filthy. If we could give this disgrace of a "motel" a BIG ZERO we would!! We are Wyndham Diamond members that stay in many properties with our dogs. I called to ask to speak to the General Manager (Gilda Balbas ) and the clerk refused to give us her name. I had to email (that's when I got her name). They kept almost 50.00 of our deposit for dirty towels. The deposit was for damages, not cleaning or washing. Evidently, their washing machine is in the same shape as the property. Do not stay here. It is unsafe, filthy and in horrible shape.

The room was fine for a quick night on our trip. This is the first place I have experienced that had a virtual front desk staff! If I was guessing, he was in India, while I was in Gallup, NM. T The bed was comfortable. The pillows left a little to be desired. They were small square pillows that felt like they had foam chunks inside. The biggest item that was an issue was the electrical outlets. They were loose as a goose.

This place was a total dump. Half the units were condemned. The water in the bathroom was constantly running and wouldn't stop and the units were not clean. It was horrendously overpriced ($180 dollars all in with taxes and fees). I will never return and will warn everyone I know about this location. Turns out the hotel allows reservations from scam 3rd party reservations sites that jack up the rates with fees. After posing as this hotel, the "Reservations Department" added almost $60 in fees. The fact that this hotel will do business with such third parties is further evidence of their low quality and shady practices. Avoid this place.

Good place to stay in. A group of tourists was there, I guess, for a Route 66 road trip. I like the bed. It's really comfy it was just the twins that didn't let me sleep throughout the night. I hope they will renovate the whole area, Route 66 is a good time and a beautiful scenery for a road trip. We need the place updated, especially a place that was on Route 66.

This place has certainly seen it's better days, building exterior, sidewalks etc in poor condition. If you are traveling with pets like I was be aware that their only pet rooms are completely on the back side of the property, kind of isolated and furthest from the office

The temperature dropped to 17 deg. last night. The heater in my room died at 11:00 PM. I went to the office at 7:00 AM and reported the failure. I then asked where the breakfast items were. Her response was, would you like me to put some out? My reply was no don't get I'll go somewhere else for breakfast. At 9:00 AM I went back to the office and told her I tagged the heater as non functioning. Won't be staying there again. The girl at the front desk was more interested in playing on her phone 🤷 What happened to customer service. No discount, apology or service.

This place is horrible!!!! I am not from the area whatsoever, I live in California. I booked on Priceline and was looking for a hotel near me and my family for the night, the app said this hotel was close to where we were but found out it was 40 mins behind us and it was late and we had already driven 15+ hrs, I was seeing double by that point. I tried multiple times to cancel the reservation, get it transferred to a different Wyndham closer to us, or something. I called several times throughout that night and the phone line just kept ringing once then auto disconnecting. I contacted Priceline, Booking, and the hotel customer service; hotel was extremely uncaring and not professional, told me they would not even transfer the booking to another hotel so me and my family weren't out the 100+ dollars and had a room for the night, they refused and Priceline tried to go to bat for me and get my funds back as well and were told no. I've never encountered such rude and unsympathetic customer service in my life!! It's just insane to me that they willing took the money even though we didn't show up and I contacted them several times about the matter. It was a straight up accident and they just don't care. Based off other reviews it's a bad area and hotel, so we probably dodged a gross stay anyways. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!

Nasty, dirty, unfit for occupancy. Wyndham should be embarrassed to have their name on this place. Run down end of town. 4x4 required to navigate pot holed parking lot. Weeds everywhere and pool in irreparable condition. Pictures on line are from years ago

The place is shabby and dirty. I paid $112 for the night and a $50 pet deposit for my dog. There was a $150 refundable deposit. They didn't refund my deposit and when I called them, they made up a story which changed as we spoke, saying my dog chewed something and then my dog peed on the floor, neither of which she did. $312 for one night in a dirty shabby hotel!

Negative star. We called in reservation 2hrs before arriving. Went to wrong one, started driving to this one, called them. They said we didn't have a reservation. We called original#for reservation, they said they seen our reservation and we'd be charged even if we didn't stay. We explained we'd already contacted both locations and we didn't have a reservation. We were then told to call customer service, customer service called this location& she said O yes the reservation came through after they called. We said that we were already getting into hotel and we just wanted to make sure we wouldn't be charged. She said that she had to speak with her manager and manager didn't approve it. She just said she now has a room, so we swallowed a room charged because we'd went on for the night. Customer service terrible and didn't take responsibility for there systems issues.

$50 deposit required along with room rate??? What kind of scam is this?? Tripped and fell on broken asphalt by room; had to use shoulder to open door and again use shoulder to close the door! 3 out of 4 lights didn't work, bed was extremely lumpy, pillows were beyond lumpy, no chair to relax in ~ 2 straight back chairs were all there were; fan in bathroom was dangling dirt and dust ~ great fire hazard. Days Inn use to have a good reputation ~ what the heck happened???

First I held the room from my Wyndham account. When I got there the place seemed a bit outdated but I went in to give it a try. I wish I didn’t! I paid for the room and they charged me per person on top of the normal rate! I even countered that, I travel a LOT, that’s not normal. I paid with my card in person got my key and went to unpack. The room had hair all over the floor, it even had hair in the shower; so I immediately took the key back to the front desk and asked for my money back. Like I stated before, I travel a Lot and their prices were actually on the higher end. The woman at the front desk wouldn’t reverse the charges. She gave me, the paying customer, a 1800 number to ask for a third party to reverse the charges for her. I was angry. She was sloppy and discourteous. Slow to answer and a blank look on her face. Didn’t even get up off her stool the whole time. I told her NO, you ran my card here you reverse the charges here. I was getting real angry and frustrated by her attitude by that time. Her immediate reaction was to jump up and say “I’m calling the cops!” The whole place is a no go. Gross in every way. I actually had to call my credit card company on the hotel. That’s not a joke.

Not clean at all, this was one of the worst Days Inn hotel we have stay. This place should be closet down due to infestation of flies and beg bugs. Upon walking into the room, we were swarm with flies, the room smell clean but there was dust buildup on every corner of the room and bathroom. I'll say don't stay in this hotel unless you have no other choice.

It is hard not to judge a book by its covered. Once you get beyond the need for building maintenance you find yourself with large, spacious, clean rooms, new airconditioning and good appliances. The staff is great and the to-go continental breakfast is very nutritionally balanced. We stayed for 3 days and had a dog with us. We will stay again in our return trip to this area.

I was so exhausted that the bed did seem comfortable. We were able to squish the massive cockroach on the first try and didn't see the babies until the morning. I think we can take it as a win. The towels were either dirty or stained and there was hair in the bath tub. Would I stay here again? No. Was it acceptable on a long road trip? Just barely bit it did the trick.

The hotel was basic. The price explains it. It was clean and worked for a quick travel stop. The receptionist and management on the other hand, amazing. My work phone fell out of my purse and I didn't realize it. We grabbed the to-go breakfast and we were on our way. a few hours later, they called me and informed me they found my phone, which was new. The had it shipped to me promptly and were very responsive with the communication. Hands down some quality customer service.
