Truly enjoyed staying at my first bed and breakfast on Galveston Island. The Victorian Suite is a must!!! The suite was romantically prepared for my 30th birthday, and I couldn't imagine a better place to stay on the island. Will certainly take advantage of staying at one of the cottages on my next visit.

Had a wonderful stay. Theressa and Derrick are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was amazing. Sitting out on the balcony in the morning with my coffee was a treat. Beautiful grounds and interior.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite for our wedding night and day after that. Dale and Theressa were absolutely phenomenal hosts, and so accessible! They had prepared absolutely beautiful breakfasts and the room and grounds of the Coppersmith were so gorgeous. It's a gem of the island, for sure. Skip the hotels and stay here. Will absolutely come back on future Galveston anniversary trips!

Not a fan of B&Bs but this one won me over. Warm, welcoming, historic, comfortable, and the owners are the absolute best! They know the area and can direct you where to go for anything Galveston has to offer. We can't wait to go back!!!

All I can say is you won't find better. The host's here are some amazing people and this place is an absolute Gem. I could not have asked for a better place to spend my 40th Birthday. The Inn is well kept and gorgeous. The pool is refreshing, the breakfast is to die for, and the rooms are extremely cozy. I can't say Thank you enough for making my 40th birthday one I will remember. My Girlfriend and I are happy to put that first Nebraska pin on your guest Map. You will not regret staying here.

The Coppersmith Inn in Galveston is a unique experience of history, culture, and amenities! Derick and Theressa went out of their way to make my visit enjoyable and memorable...the room and all the extras provide a guest a visit of any length...only several blocks from the beach and historical district. They provide information and assistance to meet all your needs. Restaurants abound with fresh seafood and local cuisine. The bed was extra comfortable! I will definitely return.

Met the new sweet owners this weekend. Had a great time in Galveston and the property is almost timeless. Especially enjoyed the mimosas Sunday morning. Nice touch😜. Cant wait to come back!

This place was absolutely amazing! I surprised my wife by bringing her here for our 31st Anniversary. Rene, our host made our Anniversary extra special by making us a meat and cheese tray with chocolate covered strawberries and and nice bottle of Moscato. The room was nice with an extra comfy tempur pedic mattress. The walkthrough window onto the upstairs patio was a nice feature as well. I would definitely recommend this B&B and look forward to visiting again.

After a long and exhausting 5 hour car ride from Austin to spread my mothers ashes, we finally arrived at Coppersmith Inn but instead of checking in we were greeted by Renee on the ring camera. We told her that we were there for our stay that we booked, about a month in advance, and we’re excited to stay at such a beautiful home but before we could ask for the door code to get in we were immediately denied entry to the home. We asked what the issue was and we were told that our 5 year old son was not allowed into the home and that we would not receive the code to get in.. When we booked the B&B it clearly stated that “Children are welcome”(have screenshots). After explaining the long car ride, the policy’s we were given by Hopper, and the whole reason for the trip.. we were still not allowed access to our rental. With no remorse for our situation we were kick out to the streets with nowhere else to go. Every hotel up and down the Seawall were completely booked forcing me, my girl, and my 5 year old to sleep in the car for the night till I can get ahold of my family and beg them to let us stay with them. We are a very caring and respectful family that have taken many trips before and have always left the place cleaner then when we had arrived. It was the most humiliating experience we have ever had with a rental property not including the humiliation of having to ask the family that we invited down if we could stay with them because we were kicked out and we’re forced to sleep in our car that night(with no AC btw). Shame to anyone who’s that cold hearted that they(Renee) would kick a respectful small family out trying mourn the death of my Mother.

Renee, Robert, and their dog Dexter were so welcoming, and the stay was so comfortable. It was our first B&B experience and we can't wait to go back. Breakfast was delicious and amazing, and I highly recommend the romance package. Thank you for such an amazing stay!

We enjoyed Renee's warmth and hospitality. Her kind and gentle manner allowed us to relax and enjoy breakfast while getting to know our fellow "house mates". We had more than a few laughs around the breakfast table. The home and surrounding heritage buildings added to the experience. The best part, which I have saved for last is Renee's breakfasts!! Her talents as a chef come through in presentation and amazing taste!!!

We stayed for a weekend and had a lovely time! The furniture is so nice! The outside area is so nice! It’s in a very convenient part of town! The breakfast was 10/10 both mornings! We had a very good time & we will definitely be back in the future!

This is a wonderful historic building that has been well loved. The hosts are gracious and went out of their way to welcome us. Renee is a gourmet chef that navigated our dietary needs while creating 5 star breakfasts. The room was large and more than met our needs. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. I wholeheartedly recommend the Coppersmith B & B Inn!!

We really enjoyed our stay 6/10-6/12. Host Renee and her husband(Robert -I think) were amazing and very welcoming. Together they prepared 5 star breakfast cuisine you would expect to find in a gourmet eatery. The house was very charming and full of character. There is also a beautiful backyard oasis with a pool. They stock the fridge with cold filtered water which is great during the summer months. We stayed in the carriage of which was more than spacious, very clean and comfortable. The location is very close to the strand and the Seawall which makes it an ideal place to stay when visiting Galveston. You may never want to stay in a hotel again if you stay here. You are close to everything, have great food, more space and is less expensive than most Galveston hotels. We will be back again.

Absolutely wonderful! The grounds are incredibly cute and well-kept. Cozy, romantic vibe, delicious breakfast, and loved the eco-friendly touches. The Stoneciphers are super personable, warm, and welcoming. Unreservedly recommend for a beautiful stay!

My mother and I stayed in the Victorian room. We found Coppersmith Inn at the recommendation of my MIL who owns a B&B and we could not be more happy with our stay. Theressa and Derick were both lovely, welcoming hosts and our stay was perfectly luxurious but still comfortable. Theressa told us the home’s history and gave us a walk-through. Our room had walk-through windows onto the second-story balcony where we could’ve had breakfast. Our controllable AC unit, quiet neighborhood, and comfortable bed made for a great night’s sleep. While still a work-in-progress, the back courtyard is already beautiful. We had breakfast in the newly renovated dining room that was the most beautiful room I have ever been in. The whole breakfast was delicious but the parfait and lemon poppyseed pancakes were my favorite. The home is also very conveniently located and we were within walking distance to the ghost tour we took. I look forward to staying again when we visit Galveston next.

This B & B is amaaaaazing! The house is absolutely gorgeous, and even better than the house... the owners. Theressa and Derick are SO sweet and friendly, and they went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We had a large group, so this was perfect for us. We rented out all of the rooms, five total, and were able to gather for meals in the newly renovated dining room downstairs, and on the new patio they just installed with a small pool and fountain in the courtyard in the back. Theressa and Derick cooked amazing breakfasts for us each morning, and would even sit and chat with us throughout the day. Loved them! Loved the house! Parking was easy. I didn't want to leave... I will definitely return to the Coppersmith Inn.

The Coppersmith Inn is a gem in the middle of all that is convenient, historic, and posh in Galveston. The service and attention to detail from our host is unrivaled by any large hotel chain. From the moment we made our reservations to after we left we felt the service was dutiful, compassionate, friendly, effortless. We were in Texas for less than ideal circumstances and decided to take a couple extra days to decompress - Coppersmith Inn and the Stoneciphers were just the ticket. Breakfast was delish both mornings: homemade green chili strada, mascarpone stuffed french toast with bacon and a fruit parfait, orange juice - and that was just Saturday. Meals are delivered directly to your room (cottage in our case) so it's an incredibly safe way to travel while navigating COVID and avoiding others. Highly recommend Trattoria la Vigna while you're there - the little Italian restaurant near the Strand owned by Sicilians and the food was full of flavor and paring recommendations were <chef's kiss>. Wholly - a perfect way to wrap up a heavy visit.
