Great local bar with an awesome staff! Only had chips n salsa, but the menu looked good. Sat at the bar for a few drinks, J had great picks for tap beers and made our new favorite Mexican water drink! B was a hot mess, Fiesty, but friendly if you stayed on the good side. Definitely will be back!

Great place to lounge outdoors after a long day at the beach. You can even bring your pups and they will get treated like royalty. The food was pretty good but a bit expensive for what you get but I guess it's just Galveston prices. The atmosphere is amazing you get a great view of downtown Galveston and you get to people-watch as well. The service was also amazing and we were very grateful for how they treated us. If you are looking for a great place for fun, tacos and drinks.

The loaded queso is sooo good as is the drink selection. My favorite tacos are the fried chicken tacos, pork verde tacos and the fried avocado tacos. MAJOR drawback is the service. Horrible, non-existent. I'd go so much more often for the great, outdoor ambiance if it wasn't for that.

This place had the best taco. Wel priced around 5-7 per taco, but its like getting 2-3 of them in one. Great flavor! We had greatservice and a lovely outdoor atmosphere to eat it in! I will go again, Tacos is one of my favorite food groups! TSC

Great service. Good prices. Ok food. It’s a great spot for Tex-Mex food in The Strand. Vibe is great more than anything else this place has to offer. We thought the food could be better. Will come back and try something else!

Yummy taco choices. We ordered the elote and the guac to stay. Both were very good. We tried the brisket tacos, the mango shrimp and the beef tinga tacos. Loved them all.

Found this place after exploring the Strand. Primarily outdoor seating, so not an ideal location for a rainy day meal. Lots of outdoor televisions, pretty lights, a stage and a large waterfall that made eating outdoors very enjoyable. Food was just OK- the cool environment is what bumped it up from 3 to 4 stars. Kind of expensive for what it was and not the most flavorful, but would come back here to listen to live music or hangout with a larger group of friends. Ordered burrito bowl (no meat), pork verde and brisket tacos, and chips and guac.

We stumbled upon this place purely by accident, but what a find. The atmosphere is perfect, the tacos FANTASTIC, and they have over 50 beers on tap (almost all from Texas!). We also happened to show up while they were doing live trivia. My husband, kids, and I all had a great time! Can't wait to go back on our next visit.

Well this is a hidden gem 💎 I love the flavor or the pastor meat and the food was tasty, great portions and prices. The service was great, the alcoholic drinks were great too. I Would come here again. I was surprised of the salsa I didn't expect them spicy but they were! And I love them and did not disappoint.

Walked in after walking around The Strand. Sat outside, weather was perfect and the outdoor area was very lively. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, very friendly! Quickly got our beers, chips and queso, and our tacos. Very tasty, very fresh tasting, and good portions. Will definitely be back.

Awesome little taco spot! The food was excellent! And I loved sitting outside under the lights, looking at the art work on the walls.

Food is so good. Love the art on the wall. They have outdoor fans 😍 also the crew are all so people friendly. Welcoming place, good drinks. Super reasonable prices which was also a plus. 10/10 recommend 🤞♥️

I ordered nachos I think they should not put lettuce on nachos and put cheese on bottom or separate because they were soggy. I ended up with soggy nachos. The grape drink was good.

We travel the country full time and always look for unique Mexican restaurants. Always start with a house margarita! The queso dip was very good. Loved the korean bbq pulled pork. I love chorizo so got the breakfast taco but it was inly so-so cuz the chorizo got list in everything else. Mango shrimp taco was very good. The excellent waitress ran us down a block away because I left my credit card! Good karma!

We had a wonderful experience here. Good beers, good marga, and the tacos were exquisite! Chelsea did a great job taking care of us. See if you can spot the house kitten!

Brechachos might have become our default precruise stop(security is much less annyoing after some margaritas.)The prices are a little high, but not out of place on the Strand. The tacos though are creative and full of flavor, the same thing can be said of the margaritas. We started with some queso and speciality margaritas as we tried to get into vacation mode. The water fountain and outdoor setting quickly put us in vacation mode, the margaritas were like NOS getting us there even quicker. Then came the tacos with some traditional and fusion choices available we didn't find a bad taco. Look at the photos, my review can't explain it any better.

The tacos were so good, warm, and spicy. It made me drool. As well as the nachos and the cheese and beef quesadillas. 10 out of 10. As well as the really cute cats. ❤️

Brewchachos is my go-to for tacos in Galveston ❤️‍🔥 The patio area is chill and so comfortable in the spring and fall. The breeze is amazing Today Bree was my server. Her service was 5 star. Shes quick and attentive. The food was delivered prompt and perfectly. I ordered the grilled shrimp Baja tacos. One was enough to fill me up! They are delicious! I highly recommend Brewchachos anytime you are on the island! The service, food, and atmosphere is ALWAYS on point

Great spot in G-town to stop by for a quick bite, surprisingly delicious food and great drink specials. Plenty of trees for shade and a water wall for relaxation.

Walked by many times before but actually went in for lunch today. Interesting location tucked into an alley, but it was surprisingly comfortable! Lots of shade from the trees and they have several fans setup. Temperature-wise, it felt great! My husband and I each had frozen house margaritas. Very flavorful and a huge size for only $8! I forgot to get a picture of them though. I had chicken quesadillas. They were overflowing with cheese and the avocado crema was the perfect dipping sauce. Very filling - I couldn’t finish them all. My husband had the chicken street tacos. He said they were very delicious - and a very generous portion. Our waitress was very friendly and even brought out a bowl of water for our pup. Definitely adding this spot to our rotation list of restaurants.

This place is a jewel!! Derrick is a great asset to this place. Had a taco that was too spicy for me so he suggested a brisket, bacon taco with onion strings and IT WAS THE BOMB!!!! Another couple came in and the wife ordered the same. I do hope this makes it onto the regular menu! This is MONEY!! Great job Derrick!!

Great food in perfect portion sizes. The cocktails were to die for. Do try ‘the brewchacho’ cocktail. Outdoor and indoor seating. Pet friendly place. The waterfall wall behind the outdoor seating area is a nice picture spot. The server was really good.
