😐 We took the 2.5 hour Magical History tour of Galveston. My husband and I have both done Segway tours in other cities, and while we had a nice time, this one just didn't stack up. This was our boys first Segway tour, and they described it as "fun to ride the Segway, but the tour part wasn't great".... People often mention tour, history, guide, great, Galveston, Segway, time, recommend, highly, knowledgeable,

We took the 2.5 hour Magical History tour of Galveston. My husband and I have both done Segway tours in other cities, and while we had a nice time, this one just didn't stack up. This was our boys first Segway tour, and they described it as "fun to ride the Segway, but the tour part wasn't great". Our host seems like a super nice guy, but the tour itself was definitely lacking in any detail or real history. We got a lot of looking at old houses, but not much info about the history of the town. There were a few super interesting tidbits (serial killer, mafia?!) that I would have loved more detail about. The entire last 45 minutes or so was just driving along the seawall, with no history at all.. In addition, the communication device was just bad. If you were at the end of line (there were 9 of us) you couldn't hear the host at all. Our host did try to remedy the situation by getting us all together whenever he told a story, but at one point, he was explaining that we needed to line up two-by-two to get through a tight stoplight, and we couldn't hear any of the explanation. Thankfully, our boys, who were further up in the line could tell us what was happening or we could have had a safety concern. Overall, the Segways were fun and it was a nice way to see the island, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Booked this tour for Haunted Legends but as it would turn out it was more of a generic vague version of all the tours they offered. Our guide was patient and helpful in teaching us to use the segway but the tour itself was very disappointing. Our guide spent too much time discussing government conspiracy theories and Hollywood stars who have enough money to pay off judges.

Tour so nice we did it twice! Aaron was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable, friendly, patient and made the tour fun. We did the historical tour the first day and came back for the haunted history tour. Aaron also have us great restaurant and other activities recommendations. It’s a great way to see the city while learning about the rich history of the island. Would highly recommend!

Whether you are new to the Galveston-Houston area or an old hand, like me, this is a must do tour. Lots of interesting history and so much fun! Asa was my tour guide and he did an outstanding job. Asa also gave us great restaurant recommendations, we followed his lead and were not disappointed. 5 Stars from me. Karen

100% would recommend. Tour guide (Dee) was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and kind. She went above and beyond to make our tour (and time in Galveston was memorable). First time on segways for my wife’s birthday and we had a blast trying something new and learning about the rich history of Galveston Island.

Very informative. I was born in Galveston and wanted to learn some of the history. I didn't realize I'd take in so much information about the town! We will be back to try other your options.

Great tour! I recommended the 2 hour tour over the 1 hour. Just a little more money between the 2. The gentleman that did our tour was outstanding!! Very informative about the history of the Island. Great guide! The Segways are very easy to learn. Do not let that hold you back from trying it out. It will be a highlight of your vacation/day out!

We did the historical Galveston tour with Asa and the ghost tour with Tyson. Both were great. It was hot but your moving so it's tolerable. Both tour guides were so smart, fun, and informative. You will learn so much about Galveston and its history. I highly recommend it. This was my 3rd time and I will def go again sometime.

First off, the segways are WAY easier to use then you would think!!! We had a blast riding around the island! Our tour guide was super awesome and gave us some places to visit while we are in Texas. And he was full of information about the Galveston area!!!! We went on the magical history tour.

We booked the two hr historical tour and it was fun. Me & my mom were from out of town so we really enjoyed all the facts and scenery. It started to rain during our tour and we had to pull over a few and wait. We did not do a full two hrs tour it was an hr and half. The guy was kool no problems.

We loved our tour guided by Willie D! He made all of us first-time riders feel comfortable and took the time to ensure we were able to maneuver like pros before starting. The tour was very historic and Willie's great sense of humor simply leant to the fun we had. We cannot recommend this experience enough. If you get to meet the owner, as we did, you'll understand why they are the best in town.

We had a fun 2 hour sunset tour with Andrew, and we LOVED it! As a first time, not very coordinated rider, I really appreciated the guidance and patience provided. Only wish we would have made this out first activity instead of our last one of the trip.

Our first time on a Segway and we loved it! Andrew was great not only as a guide but also as an instructor on how to ride a Segway. He was patient and informative which helped us learn. We highly recommend them.

So informative and what a fun way to see the sites and learn about Galvestons history! We were a little apprehensive at first since neither of us have ever riden a Segway before but it was very easy. Jay was a knowledgeable and super fun guide! I would highly recommend this tour!

We took the history tour. Took tour on a weekday morning at 9:00, and it was just us two & the guide. We loved it! Tour guide was a local, and seemed very knowledgeable. Also was very friendly & interesting! Highly recommend as a must do when visiting Galveston.

Best tour EVER!! Our guide Andrew had great tips for our first Segway ride. We all rode no problem! He shared many stories and we saw some incredible spots! We will definitely come again, GREAT way to explore Galveston!!

This was well worth the $75 or so per person. Never had the chance to ride a Segway until now and my wife and I loved it! Our tour group was only 4 including our guide (who did a great job) meaning it was very personal, at our pace, and allowed for lots of questions. We learned a lot about Galveston and were able to cover a ton of ground effortlessly, leading to us seeing a LOT of different places. Again, highly recommended!

Had a blast and got to see so many different parts of the city. Never rode a Segway before but after a few minutes you get quite comfortable on one. Asa was our guide and he injected lots of fun details about the history of the city, storms, ghosts, and the mafia being here back in the day. You will love the tour!
