Let's start off with the 12:30am check in. Like most establishments we had a little wait at the door for security reasons, unbeknownst to my hubby and I the violent person was already let in. Apparently the man (more like 2 yr old throwing a fit) became quite upset getting enraged as each second passed that the desk clerk stated the policy of this location not accepting pets. The potential customer and his wife spewed out obscenities and derogatory remarks while demanding paperwork (that was already offered) stating they were not charged for the room. Eric, the desk clerk was very polite to the best of his ability offered to check us in while the couple continued to yell and scream obscenities. We thought they would leave when we did. When we came back the man had walked around the counter and punched Eric the desk clerk in the mouth, and promptly ran away like a coward. The pet policy is stated on a link on the web site as well as on the front door. Kudos 👏 to you Eric for being an excellent steward of Wyndham, they are very very lucky to have you. Now the room, omg the cleanliness was impeccable (as one would expect from a Wyndham) bed comfy/cozy, and the ac was perfect! Breakfast was delicious with multiple choices. If ever we stay at a hotel in Galveston this will be it for us. Right across the street from the beach and plenty of room to sprawl out in the room.

Stay away from this place if you can. It's brand new, yet the owners seem to go all the way to being as cheap as possible! To start of, the breakfast included with the stay is nothing close to descent,, unless you like Jimmy Dean sandwiches wrapped in a bag. They don't even have a regular microwave for you to warm it up. They have the smallest, cheapest counter appliances they could find. Not even good assistance to help around; eat whatever you can find there for breakfast... Their elevator takes for ever; we ended up using the stairs most of the time, dragging our bags with us. The Room layout is not that great; the small counter with fridge and coffee maker are tucked in by the bathroom where you could get hit by the door. There's no trash can in the room, just one in the bathroom. No towel bars/holders in the bathroom... Parking is limited, so you better not stay too late if you don't want to park in some nearby street... Oh, and the location of this place is terrible if you need to access the main road (Broadway/Hwy 45), it's always full with traffic trying to get to 61st Street. You will be better off taking the back street from the parking lot and going around, south towards 61st... All the above stuff could be let go, but the thing that made me upset was the fact that they did no clean the room during our stay! When I inquired the reason, they just said that cleaning was done only if we requested so. How was I supposed to know?! They did say it was their fault not to have mentioned that to us... terrible; I felt like we were owned part of our money paid. But that was it, they don't seem to care much about happy customers here!

Andre & D were awesome! Very friendly and went out of their way to help us. Rooms were clean and welcoming. Lobby was also clean and inviting. Pool is small but clean and had patio furniture. Would def recommend and would return.

Entering into the hotel my wife and I were greeted by Giovanni. Made us feel very welcome. Explained amenities to us. Said breakfast would be most busy from 8:30am to 9:30am. The room was very clean and it is still very new. I was a little concerned about our night sleep because of the freeway. I slept though it all. Very quite and peaceful. Breakfast was much better than expected. They not only have waffle makers here, but an automatic pancake maker that made delicious pancakes by just waving your hand. Our overall stay was great and we highly recommend this place. Thank you Giovanni for your great hospitality and for a having a great quality staff.

We went camping and our tent got destroyed during a thunderstorm. We were able to book a room for 1 night without a hiccup. The front desk attendant was nice enough to price-match a second night so stayed one additional night and ended up saving almost $100. Rooms are very clean. No signs of bedbugs or roaches. No funny smells or stains on the bedding. Breakfast is included. It's your typical continental breakfast.

Arrived and had to wait over 30 minutes to get checked in. The front desk representative was nowhere in site. There were 2 other people that waited to get checked in. There was no sign at the front desk stating they will return in 5, 10, or even 30 minutes. Reginale front desk clerk stated that her manager told her to do something that could not wait. But she also stated that the front desk should not be left unattended. We called customer service and they were not any help either. Was informed to call tomorrow at 8:00 am.

I was coming to Galveston for business and wanted to be able to sleep and work. Upon arrival, I was booked on the top floor and unfortunately a room that was next to the elevators. When I went to let them know that this would not work for me, the owner, Sam, took over, filled a goody bag for me, and made sure that I was moved to a room at the end of the hall with a beautiful view of the bay. He walked me up to my room, checked it for me and told me to get some rest and take care of myself. He was extremely nice and accommodating. The hotel has easy access to the highway and away from the heavy traffic of the seawall. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Best of all, the black out screens in the room allow for sleeping during the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was ok. The pics about room size are very misleading; used a wide angle lens. Very deceptive. Very small rooms. Old furnishings. The desk was about to fall off the wall. The included breakfast was above average. Desk service was very slow.. 8 people in line but only one employee on staff... not her fault. Noisy neighbors after midnight. Not worth 125 per night.

Will absolutely come back, service was great. The room was a bit smaller than the pictures but its spacious enough. They finally have the breakfast machines and everything up and running😁so no more frozen breakfasts. Warm outside pool and its from 9am-9pm! Love it love it love it!!

Booked the hotel for 3 nights, as soon as I stepped in I was amazed by how friendly I was welcomed in. The receptionist and the gentleman at the front helped me in everything I needed they had my rooms ready and set. The rooms are very clean and ac runs good…. Also got a pretty view! For this being my first time coming to Galveston and booking hotel based on the reviews this was a great choice!!! Also everything is very close from the stores and beach!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Will NEVER come here again. First room they gave us was not cleaned and made up. Neither was the second one. When I came for the third room she didn’t even apologize or reach out for the room key I was handing to her she just punched in the number to make the new key. Rooms were only soso as far as cleanliness. The electric socket in the restroom wobbled back and forth, very unsafe if you ask me. Don’t waste your money on this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff were very helpful and the room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. They have both covered and open parking and simple pool. The area is very cozy even though it was across from the freeway. There are plenty of stores and restaurants near. The breakfast in the morning was good and we will come and stay again

We stayed here before our cruise. It was pretty pricey for what it was, but I understand supply and demand. The front desk attendant was stone faced and not rude but for sure not pleasant and not helpful. The room was nice, clean, and well maintained. They were doing lots of maintenance on our floor. They had a decent breakfast. I probably wouldn't pick this hotel for a longer stay, but it was great for 1 night.

I wasn't going to share this review as I wanted to talk to management. It wasn't met with understanding, but rather my fault that I didn't bring up the issues before checking out. Which I did on several occasions. With housekeeping and front desk! Our room was never stocked with the necessities such as shampoo, conditioner, and clean towels. We had towels that were used and just folded and restocked. I asked housekeeping to replace them politely and was met with agitation and attitude. The second time I asked them for shampoo and conditioner and new towels and again I was met with attitude them given towels and shampoo from thier cart and was asked to stock my own room and bring her our dirty towels. Not to mention the room was very dirty. Not even a surface clean. There was mold in the trash cans and on the bathroom floor. For being a new hotel, we were hoping for a better experience. The general manager was laughing as it was a joke that my complaints were to get something for free. I have no problem paying for what we use. I told him that I'd love to resolve this rather than leave a review. He scoffed and said he would credit me $50 on a $500 bill. And a free night with the purchase of one. In my opinion, that is very unfair!

Our room was very clean. Breakfast was really good and location was great for what we needed.

Stayed 1 night. Clean and quiet. Smells clean too, no mildew scent. Decent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. Staff was very friendly. We saw NO ROACHES AND NO MOLD. Perfect for the night before a cruise.

Great Property Staff and Management were phenomenal. If you're in the Galveston area and looking for a nice place to stay with a full breakfast I mean I haven't seen a breakfast like this since before COVID-19. Cold cereal /hot cereal /Bacon Sausage and egg's /fresh fruit waffles /pancakes /bagels and toast etc... Great Property

Great and safe location. Nice clean room and comfy beds. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the breakfast. Eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, cereal, muffins, juice, etc. Nice clean pool. Very pleased with our stay.

What a great experience. The nice gentleman who checked me in gave me just the room I needed. Super smooth experience all around. The room was so nice, super clean, and seemed new. Great view and close to everything I needed. Just a wonderful stay all around. Thanks for a great nights sleep.

Loved this place. Had a minor issue with room but don't remember what it was. Breakfast was great. Staff was a little slow and sloppy looking at times but was friendly and helpful. At check out at five thirty no breakfast was available second day but that not their fault. I asked for a package muffin or fruit and was denied told they only had coffee the other had not been set out. Bed was comfortable.

Erin at the front desk was amazing with helping me check into the best room with a view, great service. Location is right off the exit so can get very busy. My room was clean and relaxing with a large extendable tv. Hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, pancake, waffles, cereal, and bread. Would recommend.

Parking kinda is difficult if you arrive late. If you want a better view request odd number room or else your looking into another hotel rooms. Very clean straight forward hotel. Will come again. DO NOT RELY ON GOOGLE OR IPHONE FOR DIRECTIONS!

To start on a positive, the bed sheets were clean (thank you). The rest has much room for improvement. Cigarette butts all around the pool and walkways, ALL week. Everything is dirty: stairwells, floors, light switches, lobby. In the room, tv was broken, sink mirror looked like weeks of people flossed in front of it (again, all week), shower didn’t drain (gross), light switches didn’t work. I understand the hotel is ‘between general contractors’ and kind-of under renovations, but that is no excuse for uncleanliness. A little effort goes a long way, and the staff is plain lazy. Get a pressure washer, or a mop, or a scrub brush. Staff was friendly, but useless past that.

Absolutely amazing staff. Super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and decently sized. Had a group of 4 in a two bed room and never felt cramped up. Pool area is also super clean! Had a very nice stay.
