Nice food, but overpriced. Disappointed at the door when the waiter tried to seat myself and another customer (with a buggy) in the establishment next door. When we refused, he "managed" to find us a seat indoors...which strangely enough was empty at that time 🤷‍♀️

I went there for few pints on a Monday night. Good selection of pints and the place was huge with two floors. There were a small gig on and the music and atmosphere were great. I had a great fun there. Nice place and clean.

Great live music here! They have a great voice and bust out good tunes. Also enjoyed sampling the local beer and an order of the beef and Guinness. The flavour was good but do wish the beef was softer.

Great pub! Great prices, friendly staff and a big selection of whiskeys and beers. Didn't try the food to have an opinion there but everything else was amazing! Definitely recommend!

We arrived 31/12/2022. The service was great, one had soup which was excellent. Unfortunately I decided to have the seafood chowder, and to sum it up, The flavour was good, but there was only one missing element, and that was the Seafood. I have never had a meaner dish and at over €8, a rip off.

Atmosphere was really cool! Very inviting and fun. We were seated quickly and perused the menu. We ordered the burger and the chicken tortellini. Both were GREAT!! The chicken with the tortellini was well cooked and had a Cajun seasoning included, with a great, light sauce. Very happy that we stopped in.

Busker Brownes is a popular pub located in the heart of Galway, Ireland. The pub is well-known for its lively atmosphere, traditional music, and excellent customer service. One of the standout members of the Busker Brownes team is Jonathan, the bartender. Jonathan is an exceptional bartender who always goes above and beyond to provide excellent service to his customers. He is knowledgeable about a wide range of drinks and always takes the time to listen to his customers' preferences and recommend the perfect drink to suit their tastes. Whether it's a classic cocktail or a local craft beer, Jonathan has a wealth of knowledge and expertise that he is always happy to share. In addition to his excellent bartending skills, Jonathan is also a friendly and engaging presence behind the bar. He has a great sense of humor and is always willing to chat with his customers, making them feel welcome and at home in the pub. His warm and welcoming personality is one of the reasons that customers return to Busker Brownes time and time again. Overall, I would highly recommend Jonathan and Busker Brownes to anyone looking for a great night out in Galway. Whether you're a local or a visitor to the city, you're sure to have a fantastic experience at this lively and welcoming pub, thanks in no small part to Jonathan's exceptional service and hospitality.

We came to visit Galway for a day, and we were recommended to eat at the Busker Brownes. The place is pretty big and has a great atmosphere. The food was also very good; we ordered battered cod and stews, all of which were very nice. I also ordered a small cup of vegetable soup, and I have to say it was one of the best I have ever tried. It was so simple yet so cozy. More so, the waitresses were both efficient and kind, especially Alba, and besides doing an excellent job, she recommended some places to visit in Galway. I highly recommend the Busker Brownes.

There was a long black hair in my drink. The waitress had the personality of a wet rag. Food was cold and obviously frozen, couldn't even tell the waitress because once she dropped the food off she didn't appear, had to go find her to pay the bill.

An amazing menu and the live music a real treat. Checj this burger. Its sinful with all of the good things you can imagine! The garlic sauce was killer on the fries.

Visited during our honeymoon. Food and drink was great. As we were leaving, they were setting up for live music. Popular college spot in the evening.

Might have caught them on a bad day. Went up to the bar to order, I was the only one there and waited 10-15 minutes before the staff member acknowledged me. She was clearly busy making other orders so she asked her colleague to take my order and her colleague just walked off. Then she asked what I wanted. Then someone came to our table asking if we ordered so we ordered again, took about 30 mins from me going up to the bar to getting my drink. But the cocktails were good!!

Must go if you are in Galway!! Great atmosphere. Food was great and honestly feel like I had the best chips in my life!

Absolute top notch. Not too expensive, and even though the place was packed they managed incredibly and didn't even scuff at the fact that we suddenly wanted dessert. If I had to say something negative it would be that cutlery was just kinda dumped on the table, but everything else was just great. Can recommend the burger.

I visited this place twice - once in the afternoon, and it was very chill and almost deserted. Pints are between 5 and 6 Euros, and it's a decent place for an afternoon or early evening meal. My second visit was a bit past midnight on a Wednesday, and let me tell you, it was a ROCKIN' crowd. It was definitely a younger, rowdier, college aged crowd, but there was no trouble to be had. It was just packed wall to wall, and everyone was having a good time. They have really good live music up front and then off to the side, in another large area, it was a bit more chillaxed with more chill music playing. They also have an upstairs area that is open on the weekends. From what I have been told, THIS is the place to be in Galway if you're looking for a party atmosphere. However, it was so packed, I wasn't able to handle it very long, so I opted out and sought out a low key venue.

Second time eating here, but had to write in praise of the Crispy- fried Goat Cheese Salad. (It looked appealing on the menu, reminding me of the goats cheese salad at Le Guignol in Uccle, Belgium which was always a favourite.) It was, hands down, one of the nicest salads I've ever eaten and will go down in memory as one of the nicest meals I've ever had. We were a table of 9, so there was some slow service in delivery of some items, but the staff were friendly and polite and did their best.

Very good option for lunch at Galway! All plates were super tasty and menu has many options. The pulled pork BBQ sandwich was supreme. Logical prices and excellent service.

Food and Drink was awesome 😋, along with the staff with pleasant soothing music. A big screeen amazes you all the time with your all time favourite sports airing. Enjoy your game with a jug of beer.

Just a few drinks in Busker Brown's. Lovely, lively pub/restaurant with a rest atmosphere and good music. Bar staff very friendly, fast and efficient.

I ordered the chicken burger. Chicken was perfectly cooked. Toppings were plentiful but many toppins I felt were too large in size. The dip provided with chips was tasty. Staff were helpful and requests were listened to and provided without any issues

Arrived here at peak busy time last Saturday evening. Despite there being a good number of people ahead of us in the queue when we arrived, we got our table for two for outdoor dining inside 20 mins so were happy out. The food was very tasty and staff very polite and the place has a great atmosphere! Definitely give this place a visit if you can

What a shame the guy on the door thinks he is god. The manager came out and put him in his place but what a shame we had to suffer him two nights in a row
