A good option around, however when seated near the entrance it can get quite cold. The food is good, the service is generally nice as well. However the blonde lady at the door welcoming guests could be a bit more friendly and/or a bit less biased, as she was welcoming Irish guests with a big smile, but not the foreigners like us. She also seated us in the pub near the entrance instead of the restaurant part. It felt a bit odd. Otherwise the food was good and the cheerful waiter guys saved the day. =)

The good: Atmosphere. Onion rings. House cut chips (fries). The bad: * The hamburger was very dry. Overly done. I asked for medium rare, and they says they'll "check". So I wasn't expecting anything, but what I got was just bad. * The food took over 20 minutes to arrive, even though it wasn't too busy. * Quite pricey, especially considering the portions and quality. * The lunch menu is pretty limited (so if you saw the cannelloni on Google Maps, maybe it's only served at dinner).

Good value for your money, especially if you go between 5 and 7 pm and get the prefix theatre menu. Food was very good and the service was great. Slow cooked lamb shoulder was fantastic. Sea trout was flakey, but the risotto was a bit under cooked, steak well seasoned and cooked perfectly.

LOVE this restaurant! It’s connected to a pub so it’s handy to get pre/post drinks, if you wanted. The ambience inside the restaurant is the best - cozy and warm, with music playing on just the right volume. Tables are also well spaced so you don’t feel crammed. Noise levels are also very low despite the restaurant being fully booked the night we were in. Food was great! Starters were a bit small so recommend not to share although it is enough because the mains are big. We ordered the steak which comes with their own sides already which we thought was the best option if you wanted to get your money’s worth. All the staff are all so friendly and professional as well! Overall, I would return happily and recommend to others if they are in Galway.

Our best meal so far in Ireland. We had the Sea Bass and Grilled Hake we loved both dishes. The goat cheese appetizer was good and the sticky toffee cake was amazing and a must have. Great atmosphere but busy so make a reservation or arrive early to get a table.

Delicious modern European cuisine. I had a vegetarian Tamarind Carrot with chickpeas and smoked tofu. Wife had Sticky Sweet Pork Ribs. Desserts Peanut Butter Parfait and Sticky Toffee Pudding were fabulous (but we both thought the toffee pudding was best)!

Greeted by great service on entering. Ordered the mussels and sirloin steak. Mussels was plump and the garlic broth was amazing~ do ask for some bread so you can dip it in the garlicky yummy broth! Loved the steak! The onion ring was huge! Cooked well as per your request. Will really recommend here for the food, service and atmosphere :)

The service was impeccable, and our waitress was not only beautiful but also incredibly lovely. She made sure that we had everything we needed. The design of the brasserie is charming, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and kind. The food was underwhelming and not worth the price. The chips didn't have much taste other than the oil. The steaks were slightly undercooked for myself and overcooked for my partner. The red wine sauce was quite nice I have to say. There was an overwhelming use of fried onion to me as it covered the stake and overpowered the meat's flavour that I expected. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant but the bar itself has some local craft beers which was nice and are good to try of you're interested.

We really enjoyed our meals and would definitely return to this restaurant. We had the Roast Breast of Irish Chicken and McGeough’s Slow Roast Shoulder of Lamb. Both were excellent and very tender. One in our party needs to eat gluten free. Both were very safe for her to eat. Our third meal was a filet, which was delicious and also very tender. This was not GF in the picture, but can be made GF. They had fresh GF bread and an assortment of regular bread for the non GF eaters. Crème brûlée was gf and fantastic, sorry no picture, Great place with great service.

Staff were so lovely and accommodating for all our needs and requests. The steak was delicious and food portions are generous! Would recommend to any friends visiting Galway - all 4 of us had 10/10 meals.

Had a dinner there on Saturday night and loved everything about the place. Reasonable prices for delicious food. Especially, my favourite dessert from now on is crème brûlée with pistachio ice cream. The front lady was very calm and welcoming even thou the place was extremely busy . Took one star off (would only take just half off is there was such option) because out table wasn’t wiped after previous dinner and I’ve asked a girl to do it and request was ignored. Also, the table next to the door is not for everyone as you can feel the cold from outside every time someone coming in/out. Highly recommended for people any age .

I highly recommend Brasserie on the Corner. The food is just brilliant with large portions and very reasonably priced. The staff are just brilliant. We went for lunch and we could not fault it.

Lovely place with really good food. Tried their pan seared sea trout and risotto with corn salsa, which was amazing. Also tried their roasted lamb shoulder which was fantastic. Thank you guys!

Delicious food. Had a steak that was cooked perfectly medium rare. I also had The Galway Duo, a beer and whiskey combo, which was paired well.

It’s a shame… it’s a shame we haven’t saved more space in our tummies before the dinner. Lamb shoulder was so soft and juicy - simply unbelievable! Very attentive and friendly staff, perfect surroundings- I’d be delighted to come back any time soon!

In my experience traveling across the globe as a foodie nerd - I would say with confidence that this wonderful classic and simple gem in the heart of the city is one of my favourite 3 best places in the world. Definitely number 1 in the west and east coast of Ireland ! 😉✈️✈️ Fantastic from service to food ....and the desert.....wow!

We had a group of 18 pilgrims in Galway for three nights and visited The Brasserie on our last night. Everything about our dining experience was truly special. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was classy (and classic Irish) yet relaxed, and all three courses were delicious (in particular the 1st course mussels). However, the highlight of the evening was the surprise Irish Coffee demonstration put on by Ulick. Ulick was absolutely fantastic as he told the history of the Irish Coffee and showed us how to make them. Very informative and entertaining. Not to mention the best Irish Coffee we ever had! If you get the chance, don't pass up a visit to this great establishment.

Fulfilled all of my Irish pub lunch dreams. Great atmosphere, kind and helpful staff and most importantly good Irish food. Would definitely return and recommend.

Best meal in Ireland. Value for money like nowhere else. Generous portions, delicious chowder, perfectly cooked steak and turbot. Cheesecake was good (fluffy), but the ice cream was wonderful. Whiskey was even better and cheaper than at regular pubs. Attentive, fun servers in a warm ambience. Hope this place keeps up the incredible standards!

Brilliant place to have a lovely meal. The service was good, quick and helpful. The food was excellent. I was craving for a steak, and got the fillet cut. It was mouth melting good! Medium rare with the pepper sauce, the chef did it right in every way. Good drinks selection, and ambience too.

Make sure people have certs, staff wearing masks. Coeliac friendly, plenty of options. Got the soup with bread, 8oz steak, sauce, chips, opinion rings, all gluten free Definitely calling back

Good food, comfortable atmosphere, a nicely varied menu and excellent, friendly staff but with one exception. There was a middle aged male member of staff who seemed to storm about and be rude and grumpy - I didn’t see him actually do anything. Just having a bad day perhaps, and the only downside to a memorable meal.

No place has ever made me feel this way! 10/10 experience from service to food to drinks. One of the best places galway has to offer. Highly recommend any seafood options available the cocktails are bliss.

(Translated by Google) Very good restaurant, friendly and attentive staff. The dishes were excellent, the burger was grilled to the point, nice medium as ordered. With sauce, cheese and bacon really a dream. I have rarely eaten such a good burger. The meat board was also a specialty, excellent as a starter. Very good meat. My compliment! A must when you are in the city.

We had an 8pm reservation. We arrived 10 minutes early and the host asked us to sit at the end of the bar while he sets up a table. 40 minutes later it took us to ask bartender to look into why we where still waiting to be seated while others who came in after us where seated right away. The waiter didn’t come by the table to see if we needed anything. Asked for a beverage which was brought out wrong. Wanted dessert but waiter never came back to the table. We had to get up and find host to pay our bill Food was great. That’s the only thing that was.

(Translated by Google) Warm and cozy inside. Food very good. Main courses cost between 11 and 18 euros. Portions large, you can eat. The only drawback is that the tables are a little too close together. Overall, I recommend. (Original) Ciepło i przytulnie w środku. Jedzenie bardzo dobre. Główne dania kosztują od 11 do 18 euro. My fiance and I had dinner there recently and really enjoyed our stay. The chowder was delicious and the cocktails were great. Our mains were Brill but the onion rings could do with a lot of work. They were freezing cold inside and by the taste of it, raw. The price range is a bit high for what it's worth. We will come by again
