Walked in, grabbed a table right away. But it was pretty busy. Food came out pretty quickly and it was good! This place was actually recommended by a local, and have to say it did not disappoint.

Amazing house fries with addition of rosemary and very decent burgers. I tried both their buttermilk chicken burger and BOB burger, and both were great though fell a bit short of the best I've had. There was a bit too much dressing on the chicken and it was not as crispy as I'd have liked, and since the buns were not toasted, it turned the bread soggy as well. That said, service was quick and staff very friendly, and I would happily recommend it to friends. Just hoping for toasted buns next time :)

I had heard many good things from others before coming here, but I can safely say this is the best burger place in Galway I have been in (so far). The chicken taco chips were amazing. Just be warned if you get a burger and topped chips that it is a lot of food. They serve beer and wine too.

Whenever I’m in Galway I stop here to eat. These burgers are on another level. I adore pickled cucumber! I couldn’t wait to start eating them so posting half eaten burger.

Had a tour stop in Galway so stopped by here and so happy I did. The fries were crisp and perfect and I got the Handsome Roost which was really great and tender... Pretty much a Buffalo chicken sandwich... But do good. Really good Jameson & ginger too

The service is excellent, with very friendly attendants. The atmosphere is very pleasant. They have an area with a transparent roof that is really nice on sunny afternoons. Good options for beers and burgers. I ordered the B.o.b and it was excellent. It is really a great choice for burgers in Galway. Recommended.

5stars. Amazing burgers, way better than 5 Guys etc, best I've had in a very long time. Chips are great too as are the milkshakes. Great service, it was a online order for collection and they were very busy but the staff were great and the food was so great so worth it. It's a bit loud in there with the speakers etc so that only got 4stars, it's really the only negative I could think of. Best in Galway very possibly Ireland. I'll be back :-)

Both me and my friend tried the veggie burger alternative with the onion bhaji burger! Honestly what a brilliant idea I've had veggie burgers before once at Botown nearby and in various other restaurants in Ireland and internationally but the onion bhaji burger was the most original and best tasting veggie alternative burger I've had and the chutney that came on the bun was amazing as well and the chips and sauces were very nice.

Heard about this place! Very glad I made the effort to try this place out! Greeted by friendly staff. The beef burger - The Bob - was very well made. Crispy onion and crispy bacon!! Genius. Of course double cheese as well. The beef patty itself is juicy and well prepared, in my humble opinion this beats Bunsen burger patties. The chicken burger - The Handsome Roost - Another great idea here where juicy breast meat is met with spicy buffalo sauce. For those who love chicken wings this is a must try option. Might I suggest the use of thigh meat perhaps? If the handsome brothers are reading this. And the chocolate milkshake is good but could use abit of more chocolate in it, maybe just this is just my preference. Thank you and looking forward to dropping by again!! 😃

Finally got to try here and the smash burger was so tasty 🤤. The fries were also to die for. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, it was lovely to see smiles on faces. I definitely will be back again.

We came to this burger joint for lunch. We had a beef burger and a crispy chicken burger. Both were good! Although the beef seemed overcooked, it was still quite moist to eat. Although the brugers were nice, they were not “Ireland’s best burger” level. The combination of toppings was spot-on, creating a symphony of taste in every mouthful. The loaded fries were quite large, we would have been content to share 1 between us instead of ordering 2. The service was totally on point, the staff were attentive and they served us quickly and checked in on us often. Oh and one more gripe: the pickles were quite thick, and overwhelming at times.

Went to get the Beyond Burger here on Sunday and it was amazing! The staff are the best bit of this experience, though. They're so kind, efficient and easy going. I can't wait to go back!

Fantastic experience as usual. Outdoor seating area is perfect and I cannot say enough good things about the staff here honestly. So friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the music selection! Food is almost an afterthought as the atmosphere is so fantastic but it was, of course, absolutely delicious. Will be back as often as possible!

Well, I didnt expect the star of this place to be those delicious chips! The buffalo burger was nice enough, nothing special. My husband had the handsome burger and fancies himself quite the burger connoisseur. He said it was awesome, perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, with loads of flavour. There was a Christmas fries special which was basically a Christmas dinner on fries and was pretty damn epic! The staff were great as well, really friendly and accommodating. Brilliant stop off on a rainy visit to Galway :)

Was a que outside but only for about 5 minutes. Was well worth it one of the best burgers I've ever had and I love a good burger! Staff lovely and very attentive always asking if I need anything else. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

Stumbled upon this place as we were strolling around town, looking for something to eat by the end of our trip to Galway. Noticed there was a crowd around the place, decided to head in out of curiosity. Best decision of our lives! The burgers were unreal, and the fries were just as good too! If you're in Galway and you have good taste, you MUST get a Handsome Burger! We loved it and can't wait to get it again!

Not a good as I expected. I got the BOB burger and it would have been amazing but the bacon was mostly fat cuttings (yuck). The chips though are amazing, I could not get enough of them. Also I like the whole wooden forks but could you please get forks with prongs more then 1cm long

Located in Galway City Handsome burgers serves some of the best burgers I have ever had. As someone who isn't a big burger fan food was wonderful chips and wide selection of drinks. Quality food and worth it price . Wonderful atomsphere inside and out.

The loaded fries are particularly special, with a portion that is perfect for sharing between two or a meal in itself. Everything is packed with flavour and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. For a fairly new establishment it already has a big reputation and honestly, sets the bar for burger dining in Galway City and as an ex-resident of Dublin City I can say confidently it lacks nothing next to the hard hitters there either. Does not accommodate those with many dietary requirements well, but in return the menu is simplistic and consistent. Offers fantastic meatless burgers with the bhaji burger being something to turn the head of even the most avid meat-eater.

Got the delivery to the house. I'm no chef so I can only imagine if a proper cook did them but they were absolutely amazing!! We got it as part of the Hewlett Packard remote barbecue. Would recommend any company to try this.

Ordered burgers checked website and it believed collection time to be 3pm. My husband and other customers q'd at local butcher to be told it wasn't there it was in the carpark belonging to the butchers at the back rather than the butchers. By which time the delivery had left. Told by co. that delivery was at 2. Even though there were other several other customers there there too... doesn't add up. Told by co. when complaining that they were busy and didn't have time to listen to the complaint. Very bad service.. So I got my money refunded. Not worth the grief. Just by way of up date after undertak i ng to refund me 5 days ago this still hasn't happened. Customer services horrendous... if I could give a minus star I would

Best burger in Galway town, probably even in the West of Ireland. Fresh ingredients, mouth watering meat, cooked to perfection, delicate bun plus always triple fried rosemary chips on the side. And all of this is a cool spot and in a good price range. These guys know what they are doing and made a great name for themselves already. Highly recommended.
