The
hotel,
the
room,
food
and
the
service
of
the
front
desk
were
great!
However,
our
stay
was
soured
by
the
service
we
received
by
one
member
of
staff
during
our
dinner
on
the
second
night.
We
were
surround
by
Irish
families
and
one
other
non
irish
couple
near
us.
Us
along
with
this
other
none
Irish
family
were
the
only
ones
not
asked
how
our
dinner
was
despite
the
surrounding
couples
and
families
being
asked
multiple
times
if
they
were
OK
and
if
their
dinner
was
of
good
standard,
(the
couple
at
the
next
table
to
us
were
asked
5
times
and
were
visibly
annoyed
by
how
often
they
were
asked).
We
were
actually
waiting
for
half
an
hour
for
someone
to
take
our
plates
away
from
the
main
course
and
offered
a
dessert
menu
whilst
again
tables
around
us
were
aproached
multiple
times,
the
table
behind
us
even
engaging
in
a
10
minute
conversation
with
said
member
of
staff.
Another
member
of
staff
finally
approached
and
we
ordered
a
pudding
and
highlighted
his
behaviour
to
her,
she
said
that
she'd
speak
to
him
(without
her
I
think
we'd
be
waiting
until
the
restaurant
closed).
We
don't
know
his
name
because
after
taking
our
order
initially,
he
didnt
aproach
us
again
for
the
next
90
minutes!!!
Apparently
he
hadn't
realised
he
had
ignored
us!
despite
going
to
the
next
table
multiple
times
and
never
turning
to
us.
We
can
only
assume
he
had
a
problem
with
our
nationality
being
English.
If
this
is
the
case
the
Maldron
need
to
review
their
staff
and
the
political
agendas
of
their
staff
as
there
is
no
room
for
rascism
within
a
hotel
chain.
We
will
not
be
staying
here
again
purely
based
upon
this
utter
rude,
disgusting
and
unacceptable
way
of
treating
paying
guests.
Hanna
was
the
name
of
the
lady
who
finally
approached
us,
absolute
credit
of
an
employee
to
the
hotel,
