You cannot beat the location. Right in the middle of everything. We were traveling with our four twenty something children and they had access to all the pubs and shopping with easy access. By far though their greatest strength is their staff. Everyone, from the front desk to the breakfast room to the bar staff went above and beyond! We had asked for an early check-in. When we arrived they couldn't check us into our regular room. The staff found us rooms to take a nap in, gave us something to eat and offered us a couple of drinks at the bar. They stored our luggage while we adventured around. They could not have been nicer!

Great location, very nice room. Unfortunately when we arrived and turned down our beds, there was the previous guests key card sitting in the middle of the bed! Suggesting the sheets had not been changed since the last guest!!! Management were profusely apologetic and replaced all the sheets. Air con had a mind of its own and turned off all the time, leaving us in a very hot room. Breakfast was very good, staff excellent, and as before, location location. Car park right next door.

The hotel was spotless and the staff were extremely friendly. The close proximity to the Latin Quarter and the Spanish Arch make this an ideal choice, when visiting the wonderful city of Galway! The bar and breakfast restaurant were also very convenient! We were extremely pleased with our stay at the wonderful hotel!

I cannot reccomend Jurys Inn Galway enough ! Our room was absolutely spotless, beds were comfortable, toilet sanitized and clean . We didn't stay for dinner but had breakfast two out of the three mornings we where there, first half of breakfast is outside your door you receive Tropicana, porridge, fruit and a muffin whilst the second part was downstairs toast, pastries and a selection of cereals and sausage rolls, of course tea and coffee, all lovely ! I cannot fault the staff whatsoever, from check in to checkout and even if we had any questions they where so nice and helpful. Overall an excellent stay and I would definitely go back if in Galway ! The only reason for four stars instead of 5 was the limited breakfast but that is due to the pandemic and what they have at the moment is still very good !

Not sure how the hotel is now but it was great when jurys6had it. But you need to sort out your reservations staff as they have some attitude ! 'Big time. And tell them to act abit more professional as your not the only hotel going.

Great experience. The staff were wonderful and the location fabulous. You are right at the bottom of Quay St and within an easy walk of the bus/train station or the Univ of Galway. There's plenty to see and do. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The staff are tremendous. We were there for a week and the clearly got to know us and welcome us coming and going.

The hotel itself has wonderful staffs. The place is clean and very well situated. The room is wonderful and clean. This establishment is basically is giving you a service that is to your basic needs, but not a 4 star as they say. First there is no mini bar fridge that can accommodate your provisions like milk. There is no icemaker from the floor so that you can have a makeshift fridge (wine chiller full of ice). We have to go down to the bar and ask for wine chiller and every night before we go to bed, we make sure we have full ice in our bucket. Not only that we have to do this, we also have to make sure that during the day while we are out for our day tour, we have to ask the reception to keep our milk to their kitchen fridge. I do not want to sound so complicated guest, but it is just surprise me not have this kind of amenities for a 4 star hotel. On now to the breakfast. Breakfast is not included from our booking, therefore, you have to make sure when you decide to eat in at the breakfast room, make sure that you will pay first at the reception and get your coupon, then present this with the hostess. The only thing that amazes me with this hotel is the staff, they are all professionals and courteous. I observe one morning, a wave of guests comes in and they did well, politely cleaning the tables and asks guests to wait. I work with public, but this guys are amazing.

Hello just back from staying with you. I really enjoyed your very comfortable accommodations. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I especially liked the outdoor tables where you could enjoy a drink and read the paper. Your location was great and I enjoyed the vibe of Quay street.

My front-facing room was a bit noisy, but other than that the staff were the best I've ever encountered ... by a long chalk. I only wish I could pinch them. From the helpful restaurant staff to the friendly house-keepers, I was charmed. But the boys in the bar broke all records for civility, craic and efficiency. A wonderful stay in a wonderfully central location.

This hotel is amazing for a quick tourism trip to Galway. It’s perfectly located near all the local sights to see and great restaurants and pubs. The river walk is right next door and is a must see. The staff was hospitality focused and great.

We stayed here in August of 2022. By no means a bad stay and would definitely stay here again if we had the opportunity. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Location was PHENOMENAL! Heart of Galway City so super close to plenty of places to eat, things to do, and a pick up spot for local bus tours. Also walking distances to the train station. Great breakfast! Food was good. Only downside is there was technically no room service after 8pm. Friendly staff, however not very accommodating when we were trying to find a place to sit and eat our takeaway (not enough space to eat in our room). Laundry service was available but it was very expensive and the form was very outdated, no option for just plain shirts/pants. It worked out fine as there was a laundry service right around the corner that did drop off services. Room had no fridge nor a lot of space but we didn't spend much time in the room so it wasn't a big deal.

Had a lovely experience staying at the Leonardo, formerly the Jury. Situated in the most envious part of town, the hotel is the perfect way to be in the middle of heaven, or as the locals call it, Galway. I am not curious as to why ambition goes to die here, it’s quite apparent. Special kudos to superb Leonardo’s Food and Bev. manager Celine; exemplary customer service while always making sure that I made my way home safe, with great advice. Her actions prove that great service isn’t dead and she deserves a raise for sure. Definitely stay at this hotel.

The rooms could have been better but the location was amazing. The main highlight was the service from the staff, everyone was very accommodating. I have to mention Christina on reception, she gave some amazing recommendations on where to go and was incredibly patient with us. I cannot wait to visit Galway again.

Absolutely brilliant stay! Affordable, comfortable, and all you could wish for in Galway! Shout-out to Mayara at the front desk, she was incredible. The breakfast is great, no question. Excellent bathroom and bed for our stay in Galway!

Comfy clean rooms! Mine had a great view, which was worth it even if I had to listen to drinks into the night cross the bridge. Staff were great! Didn’t enjoy the construction but a girls gotta get beautiful.

Location of hotel was very good but a bit of a letdown. Staff very pleasant but unfortunately a bit all over the place! Food not great. No evening menu available and we were not informed about this when checking in. Ordered a sandwich which was not very nice or presented well.

The location is fantastic and the views we had were great, along with friendly staff. The reason for only 4 starts is due to the housekeeping, or lack there of. At a hotel of this standard, you expect daily housekeeping. This was not the case as it seems they are using Covid as a reason to not service the rooms daily. This seems to be of an expense saving strategy instead of a precautionary concept. When we returned to the room, there was a red bag with towels on the floor. This means that someone went into the room, left things on the floor and left. Not the stand one expects.

Stayed three nights over Christmas, the staff were amazing and worked very hard and the food was good, no entertainment Christmas Eve was badly missed, absolutely not a four star hotel, the bar and restaurant was freezing, there was no extractor fan in the bathroom, the water was just warm, the hotel was being renovated which we weren't told about so it was very grubby, upon leaving, the parking ticket gets validated by reception but there is still a €30 parking charge for the three nights, I feel residents who spend enough money staying there should get free parking as a good will gesture. Plenty of lovely hotel's in Galway to stay in but I wouldn't recommend Jury's.

Pros: the breakfast was delicious. But you have to pay extra for and is the same every day for our four day stay. Cons: They have an entire remodel going on and do not say ANYTHING until after you pay. They need to figure out a different system to allow guests to stay and continue their remodel. After complaining about ANOTHER issue - we had to switch rooms for a THIRD time and that third time landed us directly UNDERNEATH active construction. They also made us pay for an upgrade even through it was our third time moving rooms. Since we had moved to three rooms in two days, we just swallowed it and go on with enjoying Galway. On the night before leaving, I brought my concerns to the staff again and they did offer a partial refund which was appreciated but it doesn't save the trip. It was over at that time and we just swallowed it and left. This stay at the hotel was the only part of the trip I regret. Galway was delightful but do not stay at this hotel. Possibly check back in after their renovation April 2023.

Possibly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. This hotel is not a 4 staff establishment. My self my partner and our two children booked in for 1 night. The room allocated to us was a 4 foot bed and an old out dated pull out sofa. My kids wanted to sleep in a bed as they came to a hotel. The room was small we could hardly pass each other in it. The toilet was that close to the bathroom door you could only open it and small bit enough to fit in. Any one with weight or mobility Issue would have been able to use the bathroom. I went to reception and spoke with the manager. I explained that we had paid €285 for 1 night not including breakfast to be put into a room like that. He explained that was the family room and they all pretty much where the same. After speaking with him he agreed to move us. The room was lot bigger and also has two beds. However The cleaner had just been in but she failed to change the hand towel in the bathroom it was full of dirt. The bathroom had marks on the tiles from old screws. The bathroom it’s self was filthy all mould and mildew around the handles. The back of the bathroom door was absolutely filthy. Definitely would not stay here again. Even the front of the hotel was not great. It definitely needs a change. Extortionate prices for a very grubby hotel. Two positives about the hotel the location and the security guard with the pony tail he was lovely.

We were so disappointed with our stay we were expecting a four star hotel this is far from that. Deluxe Double room with dingy bathroom cracked bath enamel and old shower curtain. Window didn’t close properly, no extractor fan in bathroom no way of airing room. Dirty carpets. Room isn’t cleaned unless you ask until third day clean towels thrown into room though in a plastic bag!!!! One old chair and table in the corner under the TV, and the telephone was showing wires at the socket and didn’t work at all. Self service at breakfast no hospitality at all, no Irish welcome. Only Schweppes tonic at the bar no choice as is the norm now with G&T and only one small bag of pea nut sold. You honestly couldn’t have made it up. The plus side was the staff were lovely and Emily the Dep Manager sorted things the best she could. Also the location of the hotel is fantastic. So come on Jury’s Inn get the refurbished done and in the meantime charge your worth and it’s not four star!!!!!!!

This hotel is a disgrace and I would never recommend it to anyone. The FILTH of the room was outrageous. The floor was not hoovered - dust and biscuits all over the floor. The hand towel was filthy covered in make up and dirt. The shower curtain was black with the dirt and mould. There was hair in the bathroom and old water marks all over the counter. When we lifted the towels to use them there was dirty used tissues underneath them!! There was signs about Covid all over the hotel and they leave dirty tissues there- proving they didn’t even move the towels when cleaning the room. When I went to the front desk I was told someone would be sent up to look at it and clean it and this did not happen because the room was the exact same when we returned. We complained again when checking out and just about got an apology. There was no compensation or alternative options. After paying €240 for a 4 star hotel for our Christmas night away we were so disappointed and frustrated. I’ve stayed in far superior hostels. This place needs to be shut down!! It doesn’t even deserve one star

An absolutely delightful experience! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping is thorough and responsive. The front desk staff is kind and helpful. The restaurant and bar is well staffed with a particularly ample and delicious selection for breakfast. Perhaps one of the most enjoyable aspects of this marvelous hotel is it's proximity to the Galway night scene and a variety of shops as well as the bay and river.

Stayed here at the weekend! And from the minute we arrived it was amazing staff were so helpful and friendly. There was 16 of us and they put us all on the one floor and everything food was amazing!! It was just outstanding service from start to finished! Would definitely return

Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was a lovely size and overlooked the river! The staff were friendly and the car park was very close by. I only wish the car park wasn’t paid as that was a bit inconvenient to be honest! Other than that the location was excellent.

I was part of a large group in the hotel recently, I have to say the hotel, food and all staff were fantastic. Rooms were spotless, hotel was in an ideal spot, the view from our room was amazing. The staff in the hotel were so friendly, and helpful we really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone

Great location close to a very active area in town. Elegant hotel with decent service. Our only complaint was the lack of air conditioning which forced us to sleep with the windows open letting in LOTS of noise from revelers late into the night and then sea gulls early in the morning.

Modern hotel professionally managed with well- trained staff. Rooms were immaculate and in good shape. Warm biscuits and lemon water welcome treat at reception. Restaurant breakfast had great choices. My only complaint was the bar did not have olives and only shmirnoff vodka.

The location is perfect! Right in the Latin Quarter you face the Spanish Arch. Our room was just what we needed and check in was easy. The bartenders need a shout out too! They were so nice, if you order a cocktail make sure to ask for the “dirt!”

The location of the hotel can’t be beat. And for the price it has been a great hotel. The front desk staff are not the best and the check in wasn’t as smooth as you’d like.

Stayed for 3 nights while on honeymoon.Unfortunately for some reason the hotel has taken the policy to remove the normal breakfast facility in the restaurant. Instead they leave a packed breakfast at your door containing fruit juice, porridge and a muffin. With the offer of hot sausage rolls later in the dinning room that morning.Again unfortunately by 10am all the sausage rolls have gone !!.I would however recommend this hotel for location location location.

I had a terrible experience here. The employee at check-in was unfriendly. She did not speak to me at all, she just handed me my room key with no hotel information, she didn't even tell me my room number. The window in my room was broken and would not close. I was then humiliated when ordering room service due to the fact I was only carrying cash (a legal tender) for my stay as it was a business trip and I was expensing from my company. My method of payment was refused by the management and my food was taken back. The signage that the hotel was taking card only payments was not obviously visible and had the employee checking me in bothered to speak to me this could have been mentioned, in turn avoiding my humiliation. I understand the preference were applicable to use card payments over cash payments due to Covid-19 however all other business have now resumed accepting cash payments. My job role for the last 15 years is in customer service and this is the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. I would never treat a paying customer the way I was treated. The experience was uncomfortable for both my self and the very nice employee who delivered the food to my room and then had to take it away again. I had just travelled up from a business trip in Cork city where I stayed at the Jury's Inn branch there. My stay in the Cork branch was very pleasant and the staff there couldn't have been more engaging, friendly and accommodating. Jury's Inn Galway could learn a lot about hospitality and customer service management from Jury's Inn Cork.

I am here just to say a huge thank you to Chelsea. She went above and beyond to show how much she truly cares . She knows what she’s doing and what she’s talking about and you can tell making the customers happy is her main priority. I had an issue with some bookings and after two days and tens of calls I had made, nothing was done. Everyone acted like it’s not their problem. But Chelsea truly cared and fixed everything in just five minutes. Fantastic attitude and great customer service!
