Avoid This Place – Unprofessional Management I would strongly advise against staying or working at this hotel due to the unprofessional behavior of the manager, Patrick. His lack of professionalism creates a toxic and disorganized environment, making both guests and staff feel uncomfortable. From my experience, issues were not handled properly, concerns were ignored, and communication was poor. Instead of maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, Patrick’s attitude made things unnecessarily stressful. If you value good service and respectful management, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other hotels that treat their guests and staff with professionalism and care.

Food: 10/10 Service: 0/10 Food was fantastic but the service here is terrible. Ordered drink that never arrived and when we asked the manager about it she went to the bar to check, came back came back about 5 minutes later despite the bar being beside us and told us they didn’t have what we want then ran off before asking if we wanted something else 😂 asked for tap water ten times and the waitress came back to collect empty plates she then took the full jug of water back as well 😂 Quickest service of the night was when they brought the bill funny enough

Just after popping in for food. Had a lovely glass of red wine and pan fried Sea bass. Absolutely lovely, like sex on a plate. I wish I had space for desert but settled on an Irish coffee, perfect for a cold evening like tonight. Seated straight away as walked in without a reservation, but you can book a table. Great service, lovely staff, and was well looked after. Food is always great and the evening menu starts from 17:00.

We didn’t stay overnight, but we did visit the pub, and it was fantastic! The bartender was incredibly kind and helped me out with my drinks. I ended up with a couple of rounds of some great whisky and a delicious Heineken. The pub itself is gorgeous. It was packed, but not overly so, and the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable. The music was just right—not too loud, so we could enjoy it while still having a conversation. The staff were all kind, super fast, and on top of everything. Honestly, 10/10 service and experience. If you’re in the area, this pub is definitely worth a visit!

Seated quickly, good bar selection, friendly staff and food was all tasty. Lovely decor throughout, bathrooms sparkling clean. Only suggestion - the steak was a little overcooked so maybe reiterate if you like to see red.
