We had a great tour with Michael as our guide. He was friendly, personable, and informative with a bit of humour thrown in too. Lots of interesting facts and fiction of Galway and Ireland’s history. Thanks for a great experience for our first time in Galway and Ireland.

Brian was our guide this morning and fully entertained us with history, fun facts, and tales of Galway. He was lively, creative and very humorous. We all enjoyed his tour and would highly recommend Brian and this tour to anyone visiting Galway. It helped orient us to the City on our first full day in this wonderful place. Great job, Brian!!

Did the most amazing free walking tour today in Galway!! The guide was really knowledgeable, funny, and super friendly, which made the whole experience so much better. I enjoyed the mix of history, myths and legends, and also recommendations of things to do in the city. I didn’t get bored at all throughout the tour, and our guide was great at answering any questions we had, also showing genuine interest about us- tailoring the information to his audience etc. It was also the perfect length, giving you time to get some lunch with friends you make on the tour, and to visit some places recommended to you on the tour in the afternoon. Definitely one of the best tours I have done in Europe!! My only note is to bring cash to tip your guide, as I was unable to say thanks for such an amazing tour. Thanks Tribes!!

Brian did an outstanding job of sharing some of Galway and Ireland’s history (and folk lore) with our walking group today. Definitely worth the time if you are looking to get a good feel for Galway!

The walking tour of Galway this morning was a real joy. Aeleash (sp?) was a wonderful our guide. In about 1 1/2 hour, she took us around major sites in Galway, explained their significance along with some real history and some engaging fantasy. She's a great storyteller and enhances this tour with her Irish wit an sense of humor. She did a great job, and I would recommend this tour to anyone as a great way to get grounded for a few days in Galway.

Really enjoyed my tour. Very entertaining and informative. The booking process was also very straightforward. Eibhlís was lovely, very friendly and professional and a great storyteller. She deserves an ice cream.

Very informative tour delivered with enthusiasm and humour. Dealt very efficiently with the inclement weather and ensured participants didn't get wet. Our two 15 year old girls were so delighted to hear the wonderful Galway legends - told by a master story teller. Thanks Michael

Everything about this tour was amazing, and it really helped us get to know more about the history and culture of Galway. The starting point was easy to find, and the places we toured were interesting and informative. Our tour guide Eibhlis was truly what made this tour so special. She was a skilled storyteller, and her passion for Galway was contagious. She was really funny, and the 90 minute tour seemed to just fly by. After the tour, she even stayed a bit late to answer some questions we had about our plans for the rest of the day. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone; whether you’re on a quick weekend trip or staying longer, this tour is absolute worth your time!

Eilish was a great tour guide! She was funny, motivated, passionate, and professional. We were a little bit too late for the tour start but she still warmly welcomed us to the group! Getting to know everybody's names and origins in the beginning was very interesting, too! The best part of Eilish's tour was her little performance of Steve Earle's "Galway Girl" in the end. We will definitely come back and enjoy another tour! Thank you!

👍👍 Excellent tour with a variety of stops along the way to the cliffs and back to Galway. My favourite included the caves and the town of Doolin. Perfect amount of time in each location. Thanks John for getting us everywhere and being a great tour guide 🙌
