The service provided by the ladies was perfect. Design and craft was as per my exact wishes. Robert did an excellent job on the detailing on the crown.

I called into a Blacoe a couple of weeks ago, looking to buy a bracelet before I headed down to represent Galway in The Rose of Tralee. The team in Blacoe so generously gave me a bracelet for free and even offered to polish and clean my mothers jewellery. Couldn’t recommend the team in there enough! So friendly, approachable and genuine.

I first encountered this lovely shop while strolling about in Galway while on a trip to Ireland. The displays were lovely, the salespersons were a pleasure to speak with, and the shop itself had a wonderful vibe. What makes Blacoe stand out even more to me, and why I felt it imperative to post a review, has to do with the exceptional customer service that I received even after my in store purchases. Blacoe helped me selecting and sending a beautiful Story of Galway ring to my mother in the states for her 80th birthday. Grace in particular took time to write a beautiful note alone with the ring, and the beautiful and intricate details that Robert put into this ring was stunning, as all his work is. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to make a purchase at another jeweler without comparing them to Blacoe. They certain set some high standards.

Eternally grateful. They have very unique jewelery that most other jewelers do not have. Will be back for sure and highly recommend you visit.

I bought a gold chain and pendant for my daughter. The chain broke twice in a short space of time. I was told on both occasions that she must have “pulled on it” ( she is 22 years old!!)!!I got it repaired the first time, costing me €30. On principle I refused to do so the second time! The chain is clearly of very poor quality! and I was shocked at the extremely poor customer service! M. Fahy.

I arrived at Blacoe on Saturday late morning to see if it was possible to upsize my wedding ring. My husband had our wedding rings made at Blacoe 23 years ago so I wanted the same company to adjust my beautiful ring. The ladies who served us were extremely helpful and congenial. They introduced us to Robert who studied the ring, recognised who had worked on it and stated that he could do the work that afternoon! We were travelling back to England on the Sunday morning and he wanted me to wear the ring back home. We were absolutely delighted by this level of service - above and beyond, we believe. A huge thank you to the whole team and especially Robert. Quality always speaks volumes and Blacoe have it in spades.
