Best hardware in the area. Develop from family business and you're giving a very personal service. You would not get better anywhere. Prices are are excellent. Large variety of products. From builders, gardening and household items.

Purchased outdoor Christmas lights which, it became apparent, were faulty. Disappointing but return / refund facilitated without difficulty by Mc Donaghs - excellent customer service in the situation. Thanks to staff member Anthony for facilitating.

Always shop here for all my diy things, staff are extremely helpful and they have really competitive prices too, just bought a gas stove and they had the best price checked both online and in stores and they were the cheapest, very happy with this store and would highly recommend them.

I bought fire tongs there as gifts for people down through the years. I finally bought my own tongs recently from there. I was looking for a log holder beside the fire place and I found a beautiful wicker basket there. A very helpful member of staff assisted me. A hidden gem of a shop.

Didn’t really know what part I needed for my Erin Stove but after a chat with the young man in the Stanley section, who suggested it was the cleaning plate. He ordered it for me and now my stove is perfect again. Great service and advice and a very reasonable price.
