Luke is an excellent coach and is very skilled aswell as coach Martin. I enjoy showing up to every class. They push you to your limits. 8 months ago i had no experience in muay thai, and my first fight ever i have won. I would definitely recommend coming to Sunnan thai boxing.

My 8 yr old goes every Thursday and absolutely loves it. Luke is so good with the kids and is an amazing coach. Cannot recommend the class highly enough. My 6 year old lad recently started classes in Sunan Thai Boxing. He really loves it. The pace and intensity are age appropriate, with a healthy degree of challenge. Luke and Pat are professional and friendly trainers and are great with children. Would recommend to anyone looking for a martial art training in West of Galway.

My 4 kids go to Luke for Muay Thai. He is a brilliant teacher. Their confidence has increased 10 fold. He really gets them motivated and they would go for lessons every day if I let them !

I’ve trained in several gyms over the years and Luke’s method of training is definitely what you’d want to expect from an authentic Muay Thai gym. Luke is a very knowledgeable and friendly trainer and I would recommend Sunan Thai to people of all experience levels, as the students levels of experience also vary. Great facilities, plenty of space, very reasonably priced and I’ve very much enjoyed the training environment so far.

My teen daughter enjoys the Monday & Tuesday classes. I enjoyed the 1v1 classes myself. Luke is great at adapting to the needs and fitness for whoever joins the club, yet pushing them to get as much as possible out of the lesson. We will both be going there for the forseeable future.

Luke is a great teacher with good skills and always in a good mood, he encourages the students and helps them improve. Everyone is kind and nice to each other and help each other learn more and get better . I highly recommend giving it a try.

Luke is a 10/10 instructor with buckets of experience. The gym is the most sanitary gym I’ve been too. All members of the gym are extremely welcoming and friendly. Would really recommend for anyone from beginner to pro in Muay thai.

Luke is an excellent coach to all of the kids in his gym. My son is 7 and has been training 2/3 times per week in Sunan for over a year now and he loves it. I have a son who is taught and mentored by Luke.He has had his life transformed. His weight was 70 kg when he started at the age of 12. He is almost 14 and weighed 59.9 kg yesterday after training. He has changed immensely. In features but more importantly in self esteem. I can only say thank you to Luke. My son loves Sunan Thai boxing. Really great atmosphere for learning, having fun and getting in shape! The classes are very dynamic, new techniques and movements always being taught. Plenty of time running combinations on the bags or with someone holding the pads. Really hands on useful Muai Thai skills rather than just 100s of pushups and burpees 😂 Luke is a very experienced teacher, fun and patient.. makes the classes something you look forward to rather than dread! The classes are mixed and all levels welcome so even as a beginner I still could train with some of the more experienced people and not feel out of place or slowing anyone down. Everyone in there wants everyone else to get better so its definitely a great social vibe! Guys and girls all integrated, size and stength doesn't matter, you do what you can do and that's more than enough 😊 Hopefully see some of you there soon 🔥😎🥊
