Ooh my God. The sunset over mountains of Kathu, I have enjoyed staying the night there. The hotel is beautiful inside with great stuff working there. I was treated very special and I love the area in general.

The ladies at reception were fantastic. In fact, all the staff members I interacted with. Great service all round. Keep it up. And the food was great ☺. Only criticism is the small bathrooms. The toilets are to close to the walla on the sides.

Service is great. The staff is friendly and it is spotlessly clean. Great meal and great value for money.

Good Service , Neat , clean rooms. Do need a bit of maintenance-The manager should check light bulbs in the rooms and showers need to be serviced. Safe parking. I do think their chefs should go for a bit of training ... dinner over priced -not good value for money. I skipped breakfast.

Arrived late afternoon only to find there was a major power outage. The hotel had no backup power and was both unable to confirm our booking nor were they able to provide us access to rooms as they are electronically locked. despite having book months in advance we were given no notice or a "heads up" about the outage and how it would affect our stay. fortunately we were able to find accommodation elsewhere last minute. The hotel did refund us.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is because I don't expect to experience loadshedding at a hotel.. especially when such a beautiful hotel

I srayed for a day at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised with the service and friendly atmosphere. The staff treated us well and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and happy. The breakfast was great and although there were a lot of people, they were very effective and efficient. The stay was worthwhile and indeed value for money.

The staff is quite friendly but the rooms are not up to standard. They need to service the rooms and check all appliances are working as well as toilets. The rooms have a bit of an odour as well. The noise levels in the corridors. Walls are quite thin. Their coffee machine has not been working but they have no contingency plan in place. Overall I would not come back.

I really enjoyed my stay at aha Kathu Hotel. I felt welcomed. The staff showed that they were trained well when it comes to customer service 😊😊. The service that I got from Poloko and Tumisang was excellent, I felt like extending my stay, lol it wasn't possible coz I was there due to business trip. I am definitely going to recommend this place to my colleagues and guess what, I'm definitely coming back to Aha hotel 😊😊😊

Do yourself a favour and do not stay here. It is 11:08pm there is a crowd of men drinking and making a noice outside by the fire. I informed reception on twice and nothing is done. If this is the kind of experience you give, it is my last time sleeping here. Very disappointed.

I really can’t complain. I had a pleasant stay. Although I wish I knew how to use the room’s safe. It would’ve been nice if clear instructions were posted on it.

What a lovely place to spend the night. Breakfast was great and staff were very friendly. It did get a bit noisy close to my room though in the early hours as it's located near a busy road. But only really heard anythi g once you were out in the lobby. Beyond that, it was a great stay.

Afternoon check in, not really quite. Badly designed bathrooms. Affected by loadshedding badly. I'm not security really functions here, the guard does not guard much. Last resort accomodation. On the plus the breakfast was decent and I appreciate the USB plug next to the bed for device charging.

Thank you Aha Hotel, Kathu, for a excellent experience. Receiption ladies, kitchen staff, security and rest of the stuff are truely stars. On arrival I was super impressed with the greating. Great first impression! They are so friendly and so helpful, great team and hope the hotel owners know the are huge assets for the hotel. I traveled to Kathu for a business trip. Kathu is known for its hot weather. On entry of my room, I was welcome with the AC on and cool room, room was prepared for my arrival. Was so impressed with the stunning room and bathroom. Shower was awesome. Rooms was clean and equipt with everything I need during my stay. Meals was so so lekker and tasty. I will defs come and stay again at this awesome hotel with my next buisness trip to Kathu. 👏🏻😄👏🏻

Stayed over for two nights. Very clean. Room perfect. Better than most guest houses in my opinion. Best value for money. Food is excellent. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Beds like rock! Shower situated opp the door the water spills all out in the shower. Great breakfast though

Once again had excellent stay on Friday 26th and breakfast on 27th was on top bar as usual. Keep it up.

This time it was a great experience. It's a great hotel. They just have to improve their breakfast packs and everything will be 100%.

All the reviews below are spot on....the staff is professional when assisting and friendly when they have to be. Their EQ is second to none that I have come across this far. If the is one thing I remember about visiting KATHU. It is the Aha Kathu Hotel and the phenomenal staff on duty. I super thanks to the two ladies in reception for playing a prank on me. Nice place to stay in, very clean. Quiet n peaceful. Unfortunately, there is no vegan/vegetarian breakfast, you have to make do with what is available. Well, mayb on my 3 visits it was just a coicidence that a vegetarian breakfast was not available.
