Kathu inn is a lovey and calm place to be at. Their food was a highlight of my stay😍🥰, every day every meal was slapping 🥰. Also their electricity backup is so quick to kick in, you won’t even feel there is load shedding

So wonderful to have a quiet generator that allows one to have the air conditioning working even in the midst of load shedding. The rooms have everything one needs even for self catering. Very clean and helpful friendly staff.

Rooms are ohk. Wish they had a bigger shower. They should put their dogs somewhere instead of roaming around the premises. I am not a dog person so I was afraid most of the tym. They should have sound proof walls as one can hear their neighbour. Kitchen staff and the lady that was assisting us during supper Nd breakfast were warm and welcoming. They are the ones that would make me come bck.

Amazing Hotel in a small secluded town, with excellent service, abundant parking, a swimming pool, generator that runs the entire time the power is out, and an amazing restaurant! Will definitely be back in the near future!

I was booked in for x2 nights this included breakfast, and then what really helped me was that there is an inhouse Restuarant. This helped me in that I did not need to go out and find a place for my evening meal, my room was clean and comfortable, when I asked for assistance, the staff responded without hesitation. A day later after leaving and into my trip going further, I realized that I had left some stuff in my room, I called back and they collected my stuff and I had someone collect them for me, what more can you ask for Kathu Inn will be my stopover when I do another trip out that way. Well, I stayed in Kuruman the night before and to come to the same hotel group and found this amazing service was actually mindblowing. From check-in to getting my dinner was awesome. Check-in was smoothly and the ladies ensured that I got my dinner the way I ordered it and thanks Kevin for checking with your guests. It is just that touch of a Manager that makes the stay worthwhile. I will definitely recommend you to family and friends.

Very good wheelchair access on the property. the wheelchair accessible room was really good, clean and set up appropriately Service was really good and offered warmly from reception to the restaurant. Very friendly and alert staff. I didn't struggle to get the staff attention.

I stayed at Kathu Inn from 29/01/2024 to 02/02/2024 for a business trip. The Inn was impressively clean, neat, and tidy. The staff was exceptionally friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was well-maintained and comfortable. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend Kathu Inn for a hassle-free stay.

Awesome rooms, with self catering stoves, pots and cutlery. A bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, items available on the single room with a double bed. Showering facilities, DSTV, it's an awesome hotel. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with little to no noise during the night. The room service is great but they do not cater for halal. On my first visit in August 2022. I requested halaal but the kitchen staff not the management understands the standard for halaal foo and it's preparation. I am here again and thought after explaining in August 2022 that their would be a change but it still the same. So I unfortunately as a Muslim cannot partake in the kitchen meals due to no halaal food being served. Location is great as it is on the quite tranquil side of Kathu.

I am very happy with the rooms cleanliness and self catering capability. This is the perfect place along the main road. No need to drive off on a Gravel road.

Price and service mismatched. There are places who charge half the price with better experience in the same area. Price on Google ad, Price on the website and price at the facility are all different. Room - dirty curtains, worn-out taps, dirty door handles, dirty kitchen cloths

Dstv not working. Wifi not working. Aircon bareley working. What you pay and what you get definitely not worth it.

Very tidy place with functional items and space...there was a tiny delay with prepping my room but apart from that everything was great. Housekeeping needs attention, there are no door tags to indicate "do not disturb" "please clean my room" or anything like that, so it causes an issue with communication.

Their Restaurant has great food and it's a great experience.

The room was spotless,fresh bedding, I didn't expect a stove and utensils but I'm impressed. Please add blankets the place can be cold at night and other people have sinuses to put on the air-conditioning. I almost woke up late as I was so comfy. Disadvantage is the traffic at night. Very annoying. But the way I was so exhausted I slept like a baby due to the cleanliness. I'm coming back if need be. Breakfast was okay. I think they chef needs a bit of training. The People are very friendly and great hospitality thank you.

Assisted by a Beautiful Lady. She was VERY Helpful, created chat here and there while checking me in. She was just using a lot on S*** & F***. I found that a Lil unprofessional but either than that she's GREAT.

Kathu Inn ... where can i begin - i normally stay there when i go to Kathu for work. From the reception to the rooms, the service is excellent. the people friendly and professional, the rooms always tidy and lovely. I feel like going home when i stay there, they are like family. Then there is the owner of Kathu Inn, Michael .. he went out of his way to assist me when i had a problem with my booking. he accommodated me when i booked at the wrong hotel, on more than one occasion Club Travel, our Travel Agent, did not pay them in time, but he never refused me staying there and made me feel welcome. I will recommend the Kathu Inn to any one ... oh, and i just love the 2 dogs !! Kathu Inn ... you rock !!!

Great place to stay in Kathu - clean, spacious rooms that are conveniently set up with a kitchenette set-up. The staff are helpful and the breakfast buffet is delicious! Two lovely, friendly dogs guard the property. Will continue coming back. Thank you

The place itself is neat and very peaceful however the cleaning supervisor is a thief. My LV scarf went missing immediately after she left the room. Management didn’t even investigate further all they did was defend their staff. How possible is it to wear something and few minutes after taking a shower it disappears 🤷‍♀️…. This left me feeling like I’m going mad and could hardly sleep…. Never returning to this place.

Me and my husband stayed at Kathu Inn this week. We drove 576km from Pretoria, for him on a business trip in Kathu. When we arrived at Kathu Inn the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. She helped us immediately even though she was still busy with another guest as well. But for the room, it was not that great. Although they were aware of us being two adults staying there for 3 nights. As soon as we walked in, I noticed that there were a lot of ants all over the floors. I could not even put some of my luggage down on the floor. We also noticed that there was only 1 cup, 1 glass, 1 fork, 1 knife, 1 side plate and no teaspoons. The one side table was moved away from the side of the bed, and pushed up against the table. There were not enough wall sockets for me to charge our laptops and cellphones. I had to use my own extension and multiplug. The kitchen counter was dirty as well as the microwave on the inside. The next morning when the cleaning lady arrived I asked her for an extra cup, glas, fork and side plate, but I never received it. I also pointed out that there were all these ants all over the floor. Since the previous time we spent there for a whole week, the rooms seems to be neglected. We are well aware of the loadshedding problems all over the country, but that in my mind is not an excuse for the bad service. In future I will not be staying at this hotel again, and I will also not recommend it to anyone else. Lekkerslaap can take this hotel off their list.

Was received well by the hotel Manager, Kevin, a very friendly gentleman who went out of his way to assist me change my deflated tire. Warm receptionist and restaurant staff, delicious food.

Accommodation is all good, mini self-catering set up. They just have to improve the breakfast menu.

Awesome. This has been my sexond choice since, but I now move it a notch. The reception ladies were wonderful in their service. Why even ask about parking space, just bring that cart of hoses and you are set! Of course, I did mention that this is a more business kinda place. Maybe come prepared should you want family type treatment. But there is love to their service. My laundry bag was tendered swiftly. Very happy dude.

Coffee in the rooms is very limited. More could be appreciated. Water too. I had to ask for it daily because it was not provided. In terms of my order for a packed breakfast, I was so disappointed that the order that I requested firstly was not at the reception and one had to wait. On top of that when the lady brought it from the kitchen it was not what I ordered. I mean who eats cold scramble eggs on the road? I requested a sandwich. Lastly it can be appreciated if the parking bays can be marked so that one knows that you have parked at your spot E.g. parking with room number.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was very nice and the staff is very friendly. Would highly recommend for any traveler looking for their home away from home.
