Worst Macdonald I have ever been in. The service is extra slow they only have one till no matter how busy or time of the day. They take nearly an hour just to get a chance to take an order even though there is only 8 people in the line. They take one order and the same till person goes and makes the order and then comes back once giving the customer only to take the next order and go make it. Complaints don't get taken seriously. How can a Macdonald have only one working till since November 2022. The people till you that they are understaffed and management does nothing about it.

Please don't waste your time coming to this McDonald's. Probably the slowest service you will ever receive. Beverages are so hot we can't even call them "cold drinks" anymore. Looks like there are only 2 employees working here. The drive thru is more like a park off..

Filter coffee only warm drink, the rest of the hot drink menu not available. Was not very busy after ordering 2 x coffee's at order counter it took 50 min with 2 cars in front of us. 8 am.

The staff here is more concerned about servicing the drive-thru clientele and the customers that come in for sit-down service wait 45 min for an ice cream.

They have bad wifi in store when using app the it lag and you lose your points on the app and they just say sorry they cant do anything very disappointed Will only use my points in other cities and never order in Kathu again.

The service is horrible.They are too slow and they scream at each other.No good customer service.

Staff very slow and not very helpful when you want to order something else with your meal instead of taking the order they refuse

Yk when you see adds everywhere for a new product and the place in your town doesn't have it. That's our Macdonalds, like bra we get it it's a small town but I'm mos lus vir the things on the adds mos

Understaffed and waited 30 mins in the drive through.

Truely disgusted. At the order window was told ice cream machine is not working when I collected my food I saw with my own eyes that they are serving ice cream When I spoke to branch manager she just scolded the lady out and did nothing about it Ordered cheese burgers... No girkins.... Cold and squashed. And then waited another 15min for my apple pie that was cold. Truly truly disappointed Look I don't go to McD for service but truely disgusted with service and lack of effort or no just getting what I paid for. Truely incompetent. Will never go to again!!!

It is 14:15 and still didn't receive my order that had to be delivered between 11:05 - 11:20. Already paid and I am ready to leave from work...nobody's answering the phone. What more can I say?

The service was the poorest had to wait jn the drive thru for more than 20 mins in order to get my breakfast order

Food quality is not so great, as dishes are prepared in advance and generally dried out, by the time that customers buy them. Drive thru service is not so great and queuing times are too long.

Worst Mcdonalds in the Country, sorry , dont have containers for the coldrinks that go's with Nazo meals, have to pay in . Dont have coke zero, that i need to take with Nazo, anything else, pay in. Should have spend R200, costing me R257 , for them not having what i have ordered.. SPEND 15 MIN in the drive thru, got my order wrong. Dont have ketchup, ask for a different sauce, ingnored first, ask again , got a sweet and sour sauce , received used one may i add return it and receive unused one. Unfriendly incompetent staff,need training asap...

Went for breakfast but had to ask for sugar salt few people were there but still service was slow and poor.I recommend go to another place for breakfast because you will eat cold food when it arrives 👎

Dear McDonald's I'm very disappointed with my experience with you today I ordered two quarter-pound burgers with cheese and two coffees I waited for about half an hour and when I got my order and ,paid I realised I paid for the person behind me. When I received my order it was wrong... My coffee was ice cold and the burgers we're cold aswell.. I'm very disappointed..

Its now the 4th time in a short while that we get to Mcdonalds Kathu and there is no Ice Cream or Milkshakes available !!! I dont know who the owner is but there is a big issue at this McD's, wont visit again soon ! Worst Mcdonalds I know of !!!! We left with nothing.... Just noticed in most of the reviews that your reviews is not good at all. Maybe it's time for a new management team !!!!!

Placed my order at the drive thru. Waited 15min for nuggets. Had to go into the store to get my food. Only to find I paid for a Mc chicken I did not even get. Well done in spoiling my dinner and also my evening. Wonder who gets the money for the food I paid for??????

Evertime I go to MacD kathu I never get what I wanted or asked for and they are so rude to customers. I truly understand that they also tired and some giving attitude;but they RUDE! Friday I asked for a no garnish burger and gave back because it had on..... just to go find out at home that heks just put a no garnish sticker on 😟. Today is Sunday I call to ask if they have a mango frappe and the lady that answered said no we only have a strawberry frappe and so I drove from home 78killos just to come find out they don't have. The person said we don't have flppn rude also and no manager came assist;Noone knew who even answered the phone.

Worst mcdonalds ive ever been to. You drive thru service sucks. Unfriendly staff that just cut you off at the order box and slams windows closed when u wanna pay. I know ronald mcdonald is a clown but what kind of circus is this? Its sunday night and it seems like your stuff is more concerned about cleaning than actually serving customers. I dont even wanna get into the food fit for a streetdog which i recieved. Food was cold as if it was made 3hours ago decided to go into the store for them to rectify it and the Shift supervisor Katlego came to the counter with and extremely stinking attitude. Talks back, no apology and to crown it all tells me to "tsek", Utterly disgusting.

They did not have cheese but would still charge the full price for a lousy cheese burger. They did not have ingredients to make a milkshake. I really do not know why they are in the food business.

Several times we visited this mcdonalds and i cannot rate good. The staff was always in a bad mood, barely talking, not greeting, looks like they hate it when a customer arrives... training or replacement of staff is needed, they can learn from few tips from the kuruman branch maybe. Lastly, they got orders mixed up a few times. Not a good experience at all.

App delivery does not work, employees lie and state loadshedding, but they have massive Generator keeping the lights on. Not 24 Hours. If this Mcdonalds was in charge of world hunger, the world would go hungry

The service is extremely bad, you always have to wait for your order, I wanted to order cappuccinos for delivery and the lady said the coffee machine wasn't working. When my friend drove there 10 mins later they could offer him filter coffee, which they didn't even bother to say over the phone and when he ordered for us they didn't have any cup holders either and lady at the collection window gave the wrong orders.

Maybe Kathu McDonalds should rather close doors, slow service, rude staff and something is always “broken”. I mean come on guys, this should be fast food and a name that is known world wide, but somehow Kathu McDonalds gets it right to do the complete opposite of the expected. This franchise is a joke!

Waited 30+ minutes for our order. Very plaine and simple order. Ladies don't greet you. They forgot items in our order aswell. Will not order again from them.

No sevice at all some of the staff don't understand English properly and while they are bussy taking your order they are chatting to other people in another language that's not in English so if this franchise does not make the targets this is why. And the manager will ask you what you want just like that if you want to lay a complaint so how do you trust you business in the hands of a manager like that?

Slow service. Inconsistent. You order large fries, you get the large box but less fries in it.. they do not fill it propoerly.. sometime the food is cold..the Watermelon Fizz also is inconsistent... some time its just ice and sparkling water with a watermelon flavour... i visit often. Why? No ther McDonalds here...
