This was the first establishment I went to for food in the Gambia. The relationship between the staff and I were good until now: which is a month later. The first and only time I ever ordered delivery they got the order wrong. The staff knows I am allergic to raw tomatoes and have been using the bottle BBQ as a substitute. I called them to tell them they used the house barbeque sauce to only be gaslighted, yelled at and told that 'I should take what they give me'. I sent video evidence of the grievance to be told its the same sauce in the bottle, when clearly the bottle version is a darker hue and the house barbeque sauce is made with tomatoes, and is a slightly lighter red hue than the bottle version. I will post the pictures on my facebook and other social media accounts. No establishment should continue to operate if they are going to totally ignore request that clearly have health implications. I am more appalled at the rudeness and crassness of the manager/owner she was arrogant and insensitive to my needs as a regular customer. Now I am having a allergic reaction due to their incompetence and lack of responsibility in the matter. STAY AWAYYY!!!!!!! They would rather lose a customer than do what is right. If you must use Lugis Pizza Restaurant make sure you do it in person and check your food good. Will never trust nor recommend them again. Furthermore, I will be talking about my experience on the TV show I host. It is not right.

Happily I never stayed at this place. However I did try twice. The first time I enquired the English manageress maybe owner was so rude to me over the phone it left me gobsmacked. It was like she literally didn’t want to speak to me and was very unkind and short not being prepared to ask about simple questions such as room facilities. I don’t usually write reviews so I just thought let me leave it and just vote with my feet. However today I called again for a client Approx 6 months later. A very polite Gambian man put me through to the same lady and she was even worse this time. I was asking her about the difference between rooms and prices and she started her disgraceful attitude again like why am I disturbing her and I should have these answers myself. I was exceptionally polite as I always am and left the conversation incredulous. This time I had to voice my thoughts in this post. I actually came off the phone sad. I will not be contacting Luigis again. Maybe a nice place I’m not sure but the customer service was some of the worst I have ever witnessed in my life.

My third visit to Gambia, stayed at Senegambia twice before so wanted to change. So glad I did. A minute's walk to the beach, quite, cosy, amazing breakfast option, and impeccable accommodation. Super friendly staff. Don't even think twice, you won't regret your stay. Fair warning: place is a cat haven. If you're allergic, stay away.

Amazing hotel. Staff and animals were Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely homely rooms! With the most comfortable bed. All animals where so friendly and never bothered us. Pool was clean :) I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The restaurant has the best Pizza in the whole area.

The pizza was pretty good, i would love to try other menu items my next visit.

What s wonderful place!! We sat on the upper balcony nice view of the ocean and a nice breeze, we had pizza and it exceeded expectations!! I had the Tropicana pizza pineapple & bananas

It's indeed a home away from home. Quite hospitable. Have been using them for over 4years. Their maintenance culture is superb! The management is always introducing soft things to make the room and facilities fresh. Their Wi-Fi is very good. Amazing and we'll cultured staff they've got. Nice place to be. Guess what, it's located just by the beach.

Simply the best place to stay in Gambia. Fabulous accommodation, whether staying in bed and breakfast rooms or a self catering apartment. Everything you could wish for is here. And what makes it even more special is the incredible staff who cannot do enough for you. Love Luigi's, love Gambia
