This hotel was a scam. We booked it weeks ago, and despite confirming 2 hours earlier with the host that our room was ready - as soon as we arrived in the hotel, the man said it was overbooked and brought us to a completely substandard alternative motel off the beaten track, streets away. We then were woken up at 7am to pay by a desperate staff member, and 15 minutes later we got a notification that we 'didn't arrive' absolving them of any responsibility. Don't book, it's a scam

Small cosy old hotel next to Dutch hospital. Very young manager but everything was handled to our satisfaction; coffee, green tea and early morning tuktuks. First floor front room has a balcony where you can sit on the shade after 12 o'clock. Only minus was breakfast with a small salad which was too spicy and an egg with enough salt for two days. Would still recommend staying at this place, but find another breakfast place.

I stayed there for 3 days in the first week of december. This is the best thing happened to me in this trip. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Room is really good and clean. BEST PLACE TO STAY!. They also have bike rentals.

We were here for lunch and had a wonderful time. Mr Lasantha, the founder was extremely courteous and helped us with a delicious vegetarian lunch! A must visit, cosy place for anyone in Galle to relax and get some great food.

A visit to Galle is a must do in Sri Lanka - we have just spent a relaxing weekend in the Galle Fort at the quaint little LeBelle 1921. What a lovely outlook. Very welcoming host and attentive pleasing staff. Loved every minute of our stay.We will definitely be back,🙏

We had an amazing dinner here. The chef was kind enough to arrange vegetarian food for us which was very tasty. And while the food was commendable, Lasantha who is the founder was amongst the most kind person and served us our dinner with lots of love and passion. Would recommend this place for an amazing vibe and food if you are in Galle Fort Area.
