If in case you want a fresh air, and good tea break, and of course if in case you are in transit between Nuwara eliya and Kandy... I highly recommend up class tea experience at this place. Located some 5000 ft above the sea level, midst the foggy and green mountain side, on the downhills, offers you an amazing view and soothing environment for tea and light snacks. This place is an up-class and not very costly, and for foreigners a must try. Has lot many varieties of local/international teas to offer with limited snack items if in case you are hungry. This place gets closed by 6 PM sharp and provides space for your car park. Highly recommended and I am going ahead with 5 star rating for all great Mansi experinces I had with my family for 30 mins stay enroute to Kandy there.

Great place to visit. If you want to visit the tea factory, don't buy tea and cake. They will provide a milk tea with a cake for the entrance ticket. The ticket price is around Rs.2000 per person at this time.

Nice tea factory with really nice view of tea plantation

I ordered a chocolate cake and a tea cake. Both were delicious and fresh. Milk tea was tasty. Prices were pair and calm environment for dining. Lovely scenes around.

We stopped there for refreshments on our way to Nuwara Eliya. The view was amazing, and we enjoyed tea and tea cake. It was the best tea I've had in a very long time, especially without sugar – the taste was incredible. The staff was super friendly. A truly good place to take a little break on the way to Nuwara Eliya.

We stopped here for a tea break and were mesmerized with the views. The tea and cakes were fantastic, and the staff was super friendly. We even bought some tea bags, and they showed us how to make a great brew.

For a place this big and fancy, the variety of items presented feels like a crime. However, as a cafe run by a tea estate, the tea here does not disappoint.

Brilliant place for a rest stop and have a cup of refreshing tea. The preparation of the tea couldn't have been better! Added to this was their excellent service. Very attentive and prompt staff, in particular the hostess who offered us cake as a part of their sales tact. And we were glad we ordered the cake. Freshly baked and great on taste, it was the ideal accompaniment for the tea. A must experience stopover at Rothschild and, we'll certainly recommend it to anyone. Keep up the good work guys!

I have visited this factory several times with my tourists,and each time the staff members did there job very well..after getting know about the tea producing process you will be offered a complementary cup of "world's finest cup of tea"....A must visit place!

Rothschild Tea Centre is a great place to stop for a delicious cup of tea and a snack in Nuwara Eliya. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the tea is excellent. I highly recommend it!

Scenic place enroute to nuwara eliya via pussellawa road. You can enjoy a nice cup of tea with a range of cakes and short eats. Adequate parking space is available. Nice and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. Freshly packed tea available from their own factory. A trip to the tea factory can also be arranged.

Their Staff were throwing stones at street dogs.

Tea and cakes are superb. There are other short eats as well. Easily accessible location with plenty of parking space. Washrooms are well maintained. Less crowded compared to damro/labookellie tea lounge. Different types of tea brands and tea types are available to be purchased. This place is also managed damro.

Nice beautiful place to enjoy a cup of Ceylon tea. They do sell several types of high grown tea. Nice place for a tired traveler to relax and enjoy the views of the tea plantation adjoining to the property. Staff is quite efficient and had a no nonsense approach.
