I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at dinemore for the first time, and it was nothing short of disappointing. Seems like the kandy dinemore branch has turned into "Don't care mode." First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The waitstaff seemed completely disinterested in attending to us, often forgetting orders and neglecting to check on tables. The restaurant had a bad odour when entering and exiting, smells like spoiled meats are around The quality of the food matched the dismal service. The menu boasted an array of dishes that sounded appealing, but the execution was far from satisfactory. The curry was equally disappointing, with overcooked and dry meat, and the accompanying side dish was poorly seasoned and tasted bland. Only in the kandy dinemore branch. This was once the best place to dine in a restaurant with delicious food. Unfortunately, it has turned the opposite. Hope they will take into consideration.

Quality food from Dinemore. But need to ensure the restaurant cleanliness since dirt , untidy floors and walls could be observed. In the means of food, nothing but delicious. With a clean environment, and balanced air conditioning in the restaurant, it'll be a fabulous experience with the scenic view of hanthana mountain range on the balcony at the back.

I was there to have the best submarine around Kandy I visited a few times there! Look at their submarines menu's also the thandoori chicken slices of bread pretty mouthwatering ! But the inside lighting and the atmosphere little bit felt odd But the services they gave are amazing ! Specifically staff member Ravi / Ravee Help me a lot

First time trying submarine. If you are a tourist think subway sri lankan style so expect it to be hot and spicy. The spicy chicken was good and i was happy at that however we tried the shrimp and that was a knock out. The singapore noodles also good. Well worth the money.

It is a good place to get your dining in a calm, located a little away from the city. My favorite dish here is the Dinemore Submarine. better service, calm location, delicious dishes, and payment can be done by credit card. There is enough space to park the vehicles and it is a few meters away.

Highly disappointed with recent purchases. We bought 3 times on last 2 months (one was take out and 2 were online through ubereats). We bought the chicken, beef and shrimp submarines and nasi goreng. Foods were hell. No enough meat on submarines. Before they add some kind of salad (a little bit) to the submarine. But now they add only the meat (also they reduced the portion of the meat). Moreover the amount of French fries with the submarine is very low (u can see in the picture) They should rebuild their old quality. Otherwise dinemore will loose thier customers soon. I can remember the early days when the dinemore had been started (1st dinemore near the royal college, colombo), they had the best quality of submarines. But i don't know why they reduced the quality at the same time they are increasing the price time to time. Better to find some other locations in kandy to have submarines like Taj cafe, katugastota (2-3 km from kandy town). Here are some images from the food i purchased.

Ordered Mongolian rice to be delivered. They delivered free hair also. The hygene has gone bad to worse! Aftet calling them, they said yeah the restaurant is buzy and things like this can happen. I am not buying that !!!

This used to be one of them the the best restaurants in kandy. But they have removed a lot of items from the menu and there has been no improvements at all in all these years.. The interiors and atmosphere are exactly like it was 10 years ago.. Food was actually good👍. It was pleasing to the mouth and tummy😂, but not for the eyes. Talking about beverages, they only have lime juice for fresh juice and the usual 3 flavours of milkshakes.. I mean, Dinemore has been a top spot in kandy for years.. Definitely has to improve to keep up the place.

Never have i ever been disappointed of the food and deserts by Dinemore!! The way they serve are also perfect!!! Excellent!! Never failed to choose Dinemore over and over!! Very friendly and safe to go for a dine in with family!!!!

Decent prices. Good vegetable submarine. Mango lassi is ok. No separate serving of french fries, even though its listed on the menu.

Located in 1st Floor. Car Parking is bit far from the restaurant. Street parking is only for ground floor business. Wonderful Place, Pizza is tasty and it's bit small than usual. and hospitality is too good.

I have been your customer for many years now. I might have eat your subs 1000 times. But now Submarine size become very small. Not filling anymore. Prices are getting higher food quality and quantity are getting lower. If you go forward like this your end is near :(

The food was great as always. Good vibes inside the dinner itself. Since it was my birthday, I was treating a couple of friends for lunch and had been there for almost a hour and a half talking and enjoy the food. Although I got the vibe that the staff didn’t want us there for so long. Hence I leave this review behind.

The noodles we ordered tasted plain. Do not recommend it at all. Portions are smaller. We liked the tuna sub. Naan breads were good. But they put a bit too much oil. Great service though.they didn’t even bother adding some salt to the chips.

This is situated in the second floor. Food is nice. Burgers and submarine has good amount of chicken and cheese. Staff is supportive and friendly but they are noisy. Feels like you visit a Tamil people’s gathering.

Very old Tables, I think more than 9 to 10 years old according to my knowledge. Tables are Not repaired and location not that much of cleaning. Overall foods is good and delicious as usual. Friendly customer service.

The tandoori chicken submarine is to die for! The food as a whole however, whilst quite flavourful, could use a little refining. The restaurant in itself could use a well-deserved, complete renovation. The quality of service at Dinemore Kandy could really be a leading example to the rest of the Dinemore outlets around the country in improving their standards. Keep up the amazing work!

Visited the place after a long time. Thia place used to be the best in town, but cannot say the same now. Food was good as always. I bought a chicken submarine and the filling was amazing. However the cleanliness of the place could use some upgrades. Tables were sticky and greasy, wash basins were dirty and the atmosphere was a bit smelly. The smell is the combination of many different food items being prepared. Seema like the air inside the building is trapped, and hence retains the smell. When it comes to the service, the staff was good and very friendly. But they take too long to prepare the order. Took almost 45 minutes to prepare two submarines.

I love the location of this place. You can see a scenic view of Hanthana mountain and look at the vehicles from the Anniewatta tunnel from the other side of the restaurant. However, the restaurant's cleanliness/interior quality has gone down from the past, and the food is average (specially dry buns). Service is also average. Dinemore restaurant chain is famous for its submarines. However, I prefer the chicken burger with cheese over Dinemore spicy chicken submarine (Two menu items I have tried recently). I have given three starts instead of two just because of the location, and the prices are reasonable.

Their hospitality is good and especially don't forget to taste their submarine and brownie Ice cream. And they have very calm outside scenario

Great place for a family outing. Although they are famous for "Submarines" their "Beef Chops" is another winner.

Service is not good... Has a very small menu. And still we can't choose what we want. They choose what we have to eat. Very hard to catch a waitor to make an order. When you make an order you have to wait for hours.

Good but too crowded and some menus were over they got buns and rice at the moment we asked , they didn't have pizza too at that moment. Don't know at the other time .

I honestly want to thank Kandy Dinemore for their excellent customer service because we, altogether 19 of us were in a train journey from Badulla to Colombo Fort, starting from 8.30 a.m. and would reach Fort at 8.30 p.m. We had no way to have our breakfast or lunch due to continous journey. Suddenly, an idea striked our minds. We called Kandy dinemore and ordered submarines and asked them to deliver to Kandy railway station before we arrive. It was such a tremendous help that a delivery person has arrived 10 minutes prior to the arrival time and gave us our food to fulfill our hunger.. otherwise we would have starved for 12 hours. Once again, I thank for your service.

Last time I visited, the place is highly crowded. The service is also not very efficient, probably since they cannot manage the crowd. Had to wait long time to get the order. No complaint on food but some items in the menu is not available to order. Hope they will improve the service to cater the demand
