Love this place. Quiet and calm

The place was soo relaxing, and the hotel staff was very attentive for each and every need of ours. There were several options for us to select for our meals and the options were changed on daily basis. The food was delicious and table presenting was also very good. There are five cottages and they are unarguably cozy, relaxing ones with all the amenities we expected to have. The bed was very comfortable and there was a jacuzzi as well. Really enjoyed the two days here. The hotel did its maximum for the money we paid. Thank you Thilan; the hotel manager and the hotel staff for making our stay a memorable one.

Good service and very neat and clean. The complimentary breakfast has good variety and most requests are met. Highly recommended for business , tourist, family visit and all.

Very special place. Some renovation needed but the magic is here. There is zero urban noise, there are not ppl around. Far from Kandy and tourists. Get connected, enjoy the silence. Stuf are very helpful and friendly. We love this place so much. Pool view is incredible. Unique location. U need a bike to get around.

Its the place you will need to relax in a calm environment nestled in the tea bushes gentle Kandy vibes. Authentic and historic nature of the place embrace you for an extended stay at this property. Privacy is mostly secured with no disturbance. You will hear birds chirping every-time in the day. A boutique hotel with Comfortable rooms with tv cozy bed, hot water and a bath tub. Tasty food and reasonable prices. The property has a good swimming pool as well. Situated in a village far away from the town where you will find yourself distracted from the busy world ❤️

Very refreshing stay! I wish we could have spend more time here... Very calm and cool place to be. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Rooms are quite compacted. It's a design problem. We stayed at last room, which is room no. 5. Therefore wifi was a bit glimpse... Had Dialog TV in the room. Dinner was not bad. Not so good taste but okay though. Washrooms are good. Overall, this place is a great stay. Recommended for those who love the nature...

The perfect getaway! Loved their service and the Villas were simply relaxing. They gave us a village tour, gardening lesson and even showed a dancing plant! And I have to highlight, these guys went all out to get us dishes that were out of their menu. I believe it's a true mark of hospitality. I recommend this place with no hesitation.

We loved staying here ! It’s a bit out of the way from Kandy but worth it as it’s such an amazing spot- middle of the jungle ! You can see everything in Kandy in 1 day anyway. Rooms are nice, clean enough- but the surrounding gardens make it. Only thing is you are limited to eat only at the hotel, the food is not bad- traditional Sri Lankan options are best. Staff are amazing, friendly, attentive. Service better than some 5 star hotels I have stayed at !

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Athulya Villas. The domain is absolutely stunning and located in the middle of tea plantations. You could actually see the tea lady' picking the tea during the day. The rooms are beautiful, large, good comfy bed, and great working AC. Each room has a private terrace looking at the central valley and tea plantations. There are really a lot of fruit trees and they grow their own fruits and vegatables, which they use to make fresh breakfast and dinner. The staff is really nice, and directly helped us in case we needed something or wanted some information about the environment. I have read some other reviews that a negative point of this location would be that it is far from Kandy. I strongly disagree. The location is indeed remote, but I would say that is also the beauty of it. Kandy is 45 minutes drive, but there are many temples and a tea factory you can visit in 20 minutes. It is totally worth the drives if you see this location. Also, it is in the middle of Kandy and Bible Rock, which we visited.

AMAZING There are not enough words to describe this place. Everything is 10+. Staff very helpfull and available. The whole place seems like it's in another world. It is the best accomodation that we had in Sri Lanka. Rooms are big, very clean (to imagine what I mean: the towels where in a cover of plastic and when we served the lunch they covered the glasses so nothing could get in). You get a house for yourself, big bed, big bathroom.. Good internet in the room, although it didn't worked from the start. Everything is super clean and the staff was amaizing. They even prepared the table to take the breakfast outside, in the courtyard. Let's not forget the pool and the view. So: - location + - accomodation + - staff + We came to stay one night but ended in staying 2 just because of the goob vibe that this place has!
