Excellent customer friendly service. Can dine in around 50 people at once. Very spacious and clean. Washrooms are located in upstairs. They have small breakfast and lunch buffet with a reasonable price.

Had breakfast buffet here. If you're a group, better to reserve early as it gets busy during the morning. The food was somewhat on the hot and spicy side which I did not like. The boards by the buffet read "All you can eat", but alas, it's not that simple. You can eat only one piece of chicken, or prepare to pay extra! We weren't made aware of this prior and some of us were charged extra 😂. This kind of behaviour from a popular restaurant is laughable. So two stars for the service! Washrooms are clean and there's plenty of parking space.

There are so many workers but the service is so slow. Took almost an hour to deliver the food and it's just hoppers and tea for 5 people. Don't understand why the hoppers lady is making hoppers in one pan on a 6 burner stove. There was barely any customers and 8 people left while we were there cuz the service was late. The waiter is the one who made the tea when we saw so many people in the kitchen idling around. And the hoppers portion method is confusing to the customer and the people who work there as well. Customers should be able to order how many hoppers they like. The service quality sucks.

We stopped here to have our breakfast in morning had a bad experience. This is the 3rd time we came here during our drive to up country. This time we were suppressed by the management where they said they will charge for the fish curry if you serve for the 2nd time. Where the board says “all you can eat,” they charged us if we took more than one piece of curry, it looked very funny.😂 Also my wife chooses to have short eats and she just tasted a small piece of the hoppers from me and one of the staff whom he called himself “the Restuarant manager” said that you will be charged if you share the food with another person. I have experienced world class buffets and I am aware of the rule of the buffet. The “restaurant manager” (as he said) doesn’t know how to be polite to their customers.😂 Here is the attached the bill of what we paid. Looks like next time we never stop in this place again. Adios to the manager and staff. Looks like now you have too much business. It’s sad to write bad review again where I have recommended this place earlier

They have buffet lunch and snacks. Plenty of parking. But the toilets are dirty and smelling. Staff are very friendly and helpful

We ordered a chicken kottu today and couldn't eat it as it was too salty , when we informed the waiter he took the kottu back and put tomato sauce and brought it back such poor service from such a big place really disappointed never recommend any one to dine in here , people do mistake but they could have bought a new kottu instead of bring the same thing with tomato sauce mixed

Nice place to have a short rest While traveling to Kandy from Colombo. This location is great. You can buy supermarket items, you can fill your tummy with favorite foods & snacks. Also your can fuel your car because this is located at a petrol shed.

Good place to get breakfast lunch or dinner. Buffet and snack and pastries also available hear. Filling station is also open in-front of the cafe and restaurant. Clean washrooms are available. Staff us friendly.

Nice and fresh food. Clean wash rooms. Easily accessible and open 24 hours. What more you can ask for! Leon cafe has fulfilled a much needed quality and spacious place for a break to Kandy road travellers. But they had only machine made tea/coffee - the only area of concern we experienced.

Food was good and service was very cordial. I gave three stars cause I wanted to go to the toilet before departing but they were not at all clean and on the floor there were also dead cockroaches... not nice to see near a kitchen or in a food area.

My experience here is different.I had a fried rice for my lunch and on my way back i had a snack.Tasty food and have a good variety of snacks for everyone.Price is not high.Good service and space and clean sanitary facilities were there.Overall, it was a good experience 😀 👍

Dessert is poor quality. Not satisficed Fruit salad They showed us a sample fruit salad in a glass salad cup. But received was plastic small cup one. Fruit salad contains only Papaya, Watermelon and Pine apple.

One of the best restaurant near the Kandy – Colombo road at Weweldeniya. Very clean and price is normal. Big parking space available. ATM (Sampath Bank) Fuel station also available in front of the restaurant. Clean washrooms. Snacks / fruit juice / sweets / cake / short eats and main meals available. Service is good. Served half cooked rice, Charged Rs.990 for a choupsy but served a small portion not seprately, it was added to a plate. Mix fried rice plate had meat here and there it was 90% uncooked rice. Didnt ask or sered water. unprofessional staff. I do not recommend Leone restaurant to any one.

Very convenient location to have good food while traveling on Kandy Road. Service is always good and the place is really clean, neat and nice. Huge area for vehicle parking gives more convenience for the travelers. Salad bar is really nice and tasty in the breakfast and other food as well.

My score is based on facilities and not the food, A/C restaurant with selection of short eats and cooked food. I eat the egg roll, and chocolate éclair both mediocre but at 10pm this would apply to most roadside restaurants. The fried rice looked good and most people seemed to order this. Unlike other roadside restaurants they serve a reasonable cappuccino and had clean toilets and spacious seating.

Went to eat at Leone as we were staying nearby. The service was friendly and courteous enough with the recommendation of trying the mixed grill. We ordered that, tandoori chicken kottu, a couple of fruit drinks and later deserts. On the whole the mixed grill and chicken were over cooked. The were accompanied with a couple of interesting condiments, a gravy and a warm Mayo type. The kottu was a bit spicy but filled a hole. The desert and drinks were underwhelming which typified our experience. There was a live duo serenading diners which added some ambiance. Probably wouldn't dine here again. I guess place and meal are fair given proximity to other places.

Just dropped for breakfast. But frankly speaking not what we thought bakery is good but buffet is not worth at all. All curry’s which are meant to be කිරි මාළු and etc are only water with yellow powder, salt and pepper. So food quality has gone down. Sorry to say that this used to be one of a good place but not more. Good parking space and as someone mentioned earlier only one baby seat.

This place offer good food options for reasonable price. They have a buffet for all three meals. They also got a la cart menu. There is a mini mart as well. Seating is available for 20+ people and parking is also available.

Went here for a snack. Nice and clean place. Very clean washrooms. Food was good although bit expensive. Service is good. Huge parking space. Update (2022/10/25): Visited recently again for breakfast. Things have gone so bad, since the last time. Washroom quality is not good. Ordered Egg sandwiches. They provided something taken out of the fridge. Maybe the previous day's stuff. Bread was hard. So we returned one out of three. Over priced. May be that is why they are running out of customers now.

Not enough portion, very bad experience, they sale rice curry packet very small portion, it is not enough to fulfill lunch. Requested more rice not had good response. When I told i am not happy about this, good, they were returned my money. My suggestion to them please keep different portions put your prices like regular, large, whoever needs more they will buy accordingly. This is good and nice place on the way for food. Hope they will take this positively.

Nice place to make a rest stop while travelling in colombo-kandy road. Easy access with plenty of parking space. Since it’s next to a filling station you can fill the tank easily while taking a rest.

Good place to have your all three meals. But during rush hours you may delayed receiving your orders and have to poke and remind the waiter again and again. Other than that, its a good restaurant that you can visit on your way to upcountry

Very disappointed!💔. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone💯. Their customer service is not up to par, their employees are impudent to their customers and their food is unpalatable, they say that they have a buffet system but a person is only allowed to take one piece of curry and if he/she takes more than one piece, they will be charged extra for it, if people are charged more for an addtional piece of curry what's the point of having a buffet system and having a board saying "All you can eat"? Do not visit this restaurant and waste your valuable time and money!

Conveniently located on the side of the Kandy road next to a gas/filling station and a convenience store, hence you could grab a bite or pickup some groceries while you fill up your vehicle and maybe checkout some cash from the nearby ATM. Food here is OK, but could be better with more options. There's a lot of seating options including upstairs which overlooks the restaurant below. To top it all off It's got ample parking, which is a huge plus.

We went here today and we ordered rice and curry. The person who was in charge said the menu first but when the food comes menu was not there. Food was cold and fish curry was really bad in condition. Water glasses were also dirty. We informed the staff but they didn’t do anything. At last they added the cost for buffet price for our set menu plates. I am not recommending this place to have lunch with rice and curry
