We had my sister's wedding this month. The whole function experience was amazing. All the invited guests loved the atmosphere inside, the quality of the food served, and the professionalism of the workers and security officers there. Parking facilities were well arranged to park upto 10 vehicles in their basement. Decorations, lighting, throne and seating arrangements everything was excellently done. We had ordered their ghee rice with mutton korma menu, and it was very delightful and mouth watering. Really enjoyed having our function here at Rosewood Ceylon, zero regrets and would definitely recommend this place for a friend. Keep up the good job!!

Shahran Banquel hall is mostly famouse among the muslim people. Because they made it for traditional muslimpray systoms. So bride and other womens are on top floor and groom and other mens are on first floor. They made special foods for muslim people. Foods are very tasty. This banquet hall is in near Dehiwala.

I have visited this place on three separate occasions with my son, each time for his exams. According to my son, this reception hall impressed him with its remarkable amenities. He told me that it was equipped with efficient air conditioning and effective soundproofing. It provided an ideal environment for my son to focus and write his exams without any unnecessary distractions. Moreover, he told me that the cleanliness of the restroom facilities was commendable. It is always reassuring to find well-maintained and hygienic toilets, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience for visitors. On the downside, I must mention that the car park, unfortunately, falls short in terms of convenience. It is located approximately 500 meters away from the venue and is noticeably small in size. This aspect proved to be a major inconvenience, especially when considering the need to navigate through limited parking space. However, it is worth noting that despite this drawback, the overall experience within the venue itself remained satisfactory.

Unique culinary skills presented by their indian Chefs. Ample car parking with Valet service. All in all a perfect venue for events.

We had a function this month and absolutely loving the whole experience!! From food to service to atmosphere 👌. They have ample space for parking & staff at the security is kind & friendly. Professionalism is up to great standard in maintaining quality service . We tried their Signature North Indian biriyani which we ordered few times for our home functions aswell. Actually it had the authentic flavour & the best in town. Rosewood Ceylon keep up the good work!!

My son's (Dr. Ahmed Mawahib) Waleema Dinner was held on the 10th August, 2021 in this elegant and exclusive place. Even in spite of the tension and perilous situation due to the deadly Covid. As the entire nation was expecting some special announcements to restrict the total numbers of the guests participation in wedding and other events.. To come at any moment. Even, after they came to know that from that very night the total no of guests numbers are reduced to mere 50. The Rosewood Ceylon was not shaken by it... They kept their cool... And executed our function with highly professional manner. The talk of town that night was the food:The Beef Biriyani. They served was thee very best that I ever tasted anywhere before... Everyone forget their dietings and limitations and went for extra rounds... It was amazing and very heart warming indeed... All of our guests were so pleased and full of praise for the Food they had. It was so delicious indeed. Thanks a lot the Rosewood Ceylon' s management and staff.. for making our function a huge success... All the best. Thanx again.

The banquet hall in Kalubowila road, Dehiwala is conveniently situated for easy access from all parts of Colombo. It boasts a spacious interior capable of accommodating a large crowd, with two halls available for various events. Even smaller gatherings find suitable space. The venue provides its own parking area. I've visited several times, and they consistently maintain a high standard.

I went to a Tamil wedding there. The place os good and normally 700+ people were there. And AC is also compatible with the croud.

Very bad experience here. Mr badurdeen didnt let us in we were properly dressed and well behaving. We felt very offended and had to go out for dinner to nicobar. Badurdeen ruined our day. Note- there is no way to put negative stars.

Best place for your wedding or party function

Went here for a wedding. Staff are very rude, utensils were not cleaned and they were sticky to the touch. My cousin sister had a fried chicken feather which was just disgusting!

I worked with the place as an event planner for the first time and hope this may be the last time. The service that they provide to the 3rd party services is really worst that i have ever experienced. The flexibility of the security and the their service admin are really disappointed. Even the security team doesn’t know and they are not trained how to deal with the customers in a proper way. I am really surprised how this company buildup the relationship with the customers. As an event planner, i do not recommend this venue for my client base.

Very Clean place and Tasty Food with nice Table arrangements.

Just got the Eid sawan, and in terms of quantity is the worst we have ever bought. Paid 12,500/- for mutton sawan. 4 pcs of mutton? Claims 6 to 7 can eat, maybe you guys meant for kids? About 2 inches of rice in a foil container that is about 4 inces in height. We have had functions and etc with you and always been a go to place for family functions etc. But will not be recommending this to anyone anymore. Don't ever do this to people on the Eid Day. If you want to charge extra do so but give what has to be given properly.
