We had a great trip with Buddhika from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. We texted him very spontaniously the day before and he reacted immediately and made an offer. He stopped at the places we wanted to visit and gave us a lot of recommandations. He also showed us the Ramboda Falls View Point and it was breathtaking. Buddhika kindly transported us from Kandy to Sigiriya, the road was long for him but he still agreed to take us there at a very very correct price. He is a very smiling and adorable person, he took the time to stop a few times to show us temples and explain their history to us. His driving is very careful compared to some drivers in the country! We had an amazing destination wedding and Buddhika was a star! If you are planning a trip to Sri Lanka and need a reliable, friendly, honest and professional partner we can recommend Buddhika. We used Buddhika for a group of 30 people, travelling in 4 vehicles over 10 days. The main purpose of the trip to Sri Lanka was a destination wedding but we also did touring of Sri Lanka. We had very complex requirements with guests arriving on different days into Colombo and who then needed to join the group tour. We had an eventful and wonderful day with Buddhika at Lions Rock, Village Siggiriya and Badulla. He has tried very hard and has responded to all wishes and questions. It was a good mix of "sporty sightseeing" (hiking on Lions Rock) and a relaxing time at lunch. We can recommend the tour. The only point we didn't like was the bullock carriage ride as we don't like animals being used for tourism. Thanks for the nice day!

We visited Dambulla Cave Temple with Buddhika. He’s a professional tour guide and explained the history of the sight perfectly. He’s also a good driver, we recommend using his taxi service.

This was such a fantastic day and unexpected as we booked so last minute. Buddhika showed us the stunning heights of Lion Rock in Sigiriya, with fantastic historical knowledge to accompany it (we learnt so much that day!). Not for those with a height intolerance (!) but so worth the steps up. The village experience was brilliant and the food prepared was the best meal we’d had on the trip so far. Buddhika then took us onto the temple caves and again taught us so much of their history, and the beauty of the statues and paintings spoke for themselves. Would really recommend this little adventure of a day.

We met Buddhika in Kandy and he drove us to Sigiriya the next day. He was very easy to contact via WhatsApp and arrived on time. He was polite and friendly and very enthusiastic about Sri Lanka. The reason for four stars is that his car is quite old and so was not as comfortable as some others we travelled in. I would still recommend his services though as he is a kind and trustworthy man.

Cannot recommend Buddhika enough! We've spent almost seven days with him, we were traveling slow, because we were with a three year old child. Buddhika is honest, reliable and perfect guide to experience central Sri Lanka! We've met him near the lake in Kandy. First we were a bit sceptical to go with the random person that we've just met, but this was a great decision. He drives really well and safe and also knows lots of stories about Sri Lanka and also adapted to our travel speed and wishes. Thank you!
