A cozy and nice place! Parking could be a bit of an issue some times. They have a nice collection of sweet and savory eats as well as a great beverage collection - both hot and cold. The service was very Friendly and fast too. Interior is nicely done and there were seating for around 20 people indoors (airconditioned). More seating around 10 was available as well outside. We tried lattes, a cold chocolate beverages and cheesecake. All of them can be recommended, though we thought the cheesecake could be slightly improved given the standard of other items. A Washroom was available as well

We ordered a chocolate java chip cake and a cookie and cream cheesecake from Java lounge Mt Lavinia yesterday 21st January on uber eats . The cheesecake was somewhat ok . The chocolate chip cake was stale and rancid and old. Couldn’t even take a bite . Please make sure you offer your customers value for money as this ruined the entire experience of Java lounge. I made a complaint on uber eats as well with pictures. Please see that this kinda thing doesn’t happen again. Just because we cannot see what wr are ordering doesn’t mean we should be sold old and rancid products as we are still paying for it

Small yet cozy coffee shop in the heart of Mount Lavinia. Small yet nice appealing ambiance. The savoury and sweet collection was nice. Love their cheese cake range. My favourite is their Iced Latte. Highly recommended.

The outlets are well-maintained and clean, including seating areas, restrooms, and preparation areas. Hygiene standards are generally good. While it's not the cheapest option, the pricing at Java Lounge is reasonable for the quality and experience they offer.

Java lounge is mine & my husband's favourite place to relax and have a chat with a delicious coffee or frap with a side of their cheesy garlic bread. No matter how many places we think of going for an evening relaxation, nothing comes to our mind except Java lounge due to its ambience & friendly staff. Highly recommended!!!

Unlike the excellence of product and service at Jawatta branch the Mount Lavinia branch in its recent opening has not trained staff properly. This is my 5th visit and 3 out of 5 visits have been poor. Example 1) I order a short Americano, I am then advised there is no short Americano...I said why...he said no short cups...confused I then said why not just out it in a larger cup. The staff member then eyes wide open agrees with this common sense approach. Another visit...frappe and sausage roll....10mins pass, I go back to the counter hi is my order ready...no it's blending sir...ok so I patiently go back......a further 10mins pass (no exaggeration as I'm checking the order time on the receipt)...I go back to counter and state 20mins ...where is my order what is the issue...staff member looks confused and then looks around and see the tray with my order and says it's here sir I will bring it...I said I'm here now I can take it...no sorry, no apology no explanation....this is bad customer service and will affect your mount Lavinia branch....train your staff Please.

I visited this place a few weeks back with my friend and had a pleasant experience. I don't frequent coffee shops and not familiar with the different varieties of coffee. The guy at the counter, 'Mr. Mark' I believe, gave me a small briefing about brewing coffee and let me watch the process. We ordered a cinnamon roll and tandoori puff and both was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant as well. Kudos to the team.

Cozy little spot on the main road for a chill session or to just hang out but is quiet enough for work/business sessions. The atmosphere is cozy too, the furniture and interior is very modern with outdoor seating options available too. The menu doesn't have much variety and it's pricey but quality is decent but nothing beyond amazing. Nothing particularly special. Staff is nice.

We ordered a ham and cheese croissant along with tuna and mushroom puff which were mouthwatering and the caramel macchiato was out of this world with the right amount of creaminess and sweetness. The hot chocolate was nice as well but I would recommend it without the whip cream as it was a little bit too tard for my choice. The atmosphere was nice with subtle music. However the space can improve and open up a little bit as it was only enough for around 4-5 tables and it would be better if the room space in the middle was designed differently.

Nice calm place in the busy town area. When i went there, there was few customers and i also went to do some work. Very calm surround and helpful staff. Price are average and foods are also delicious. I love their cheese cakes.

I have ordered chicken lasagna and ice latte from Java lounge mt lavinia and ice latte was too bitter and they didn't give me a sweetner and they took around 45 minutes to give the lasagna. But it was so delicious and cheesy. And it's totally worthy for the price we pay. I recommend for hire another employee for the cafe to avoid delays and deliver good service.

Nice place. Outdoor area's tables are very shaky. Food and drinks are amazing and the female cashier is very nice and helpful.

Good tasting coffee and cake. However, the place is tiny with poor service. Pay close attention to how the orders are taken they seem to be making mistakes. Paid parking available behind the place.

Nice coffee. Cozy place. Kids loved the cheese cake and the hot chocolate although a bit pricey. I’d have given 5 stars if not for the fact there was a woman sitting on the back rest of the sofa with her feet on the seat cushions. Totally off putting. They staff didn’t seem to care. yuck!

A small cafe which has multiple spaces including outdoor seating. Food and drinks are priced fairly compared to similar kinds of places. Good service. Can park the car along the road or in the car park belong to hospital. Although right next to the busy Galle road, hardly hear anything in the cafe.

Totally disgusting experience plus caused food poisoning! I ordered Beef Spaghetti Bolognese Pasta - Pol Sambol, Egg and Cheese on Kade Pan Sandwich - Iced Caramel Macchiato and a Cappuccino via UberEats today and the whole experience was disgusting. Caused food poisoning. The Beef Spaghetti Bolognese Pasta was cold and the presentation was very poor. On "Pol Sambol, Egg and Cheese on Kade Pan Sandwich", Pol sambol was STALE, RANCID and caused diarrhoea. When considering their "Iced Caramel Macchiato and a Cappuccino", it tastes average and watery. As a coffee lover, I expected something more than that as they promote themselves as "well known for emphasizing on serving QUALITY coffee all the time". (Maybe Mr Dulith has no idea what's going on inside his restaurants.) Anyway, I'll never buy from them. And, won't recommend to anyone, especially their food!

Visited today (14th May 2022) Placed my order for 2 coffees at 5:12pm (Curfew at 6pm) The drinks were given to me 30 minutes later. There were only 2 other customers in the store. Hence I would say the staff was very inefficient. On top of this, the staff asked me whether I would like my drinks in a takeaway cup/dine in glass. After asking for a dine in glass, I was still served in takeaway cups. Would really be valuable to the franchise if the standards are kept at one level in all outlets.

Nice to sit outside but inside was overcrowded and cramped. Coffee as always excellent
