We spent one night and two days in this hotel on full board basis and it was an amazing stay. The hotel room was clean and staff was friendly. Our room had beautiful view of two waterfalls. That was so amazing.Unfortunately we were not able to try the natural pool because it was raining. Food served here also amazing and delicious.Highly recommend this hotel.

Surrounded by several waterfalls this hotel is a great place to enjoy the cool nature.& breeze. Rooms have breathtaking views of the mountains and waterfalls. Rooms are spacious & clean. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Only negative part is the meals. No varieties just basic meal items available in the buffet with a less spread. but food is tasty.

WORST WORST WORST I wanted to save this for the last after I reviewed all other experiences in Sri Lanka. Where to start!! Quite literary THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAD IN SRI LANKA. This hotel's manager, the so called 'Viraj' DOESNT have a CLUE OF WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS. I had called them from India before booking and discussed and then booked the room, this was all to ensure the waterfall view room. Then on the day of arrival as well I had called them and informed the time will reach and again re-confirmed the room. But when I reached there, co-incidentally there was another white foreigner big gang who did not have a booking with them but came impromptu. The receptionist lady asked me to wait, she had a smiling jolly chat with their guide, shook hands, and I understood their language a bit, and gave them their wanted rooms. After 15mins of wait, she finally addressed me and gave the room keys. To my dismay the room wasnt the one I was hoping for, so I went back to the reception and asked for reasons. I was horrified at the way the manager Viraj started shouting at me. I had already paid some amount while booking, they even denied to give that back. I was ready to leave that money and get out of their, but a quick call to other hotels in the vicinity made me aware that no hotels had rooms. My driver tried as well, but all his known hotels/guesthouses were full. It was getting late in the night and I was with my aged parents so I chose to stay there in whichever room they gave. Later that night, they also HAD THE AUDACITY TO ASK US TO LEAVE IF WE ARE NOT HAPPY. This hotel had a RACIAL SLUR and gives upfront PREFERNCE TO WHITE FOREIGNERS. I would advise not to stay with them. They only have 5-6rooms with waterfall view rest are all plain simple mountain view. I had booked this hotel just for the waterfall view otherwise there are quite a few amazing hotels in vicinity with very cheap rates compared to them. You can pay 100LKR to view the Ramboda water fall and the natural pool and choice to stay at other cheaper options. I come from a customer service background myself and thus know what Viraj did was outright unacceptable. I HOPE SOMEONE FROM HIGHER MANGEMENT is reading this, make sure you make your manager take some customer service lessons immediately. I wouldn't mind paying for it if its makes the life of other customers at your hotel a bit better. The ground staff and bell boys were much well-behaved and friendly natured that this tie-wearing man. What a shame. I come from India where guests are treated with high respect and this one experience had tainted my Sri Lanka visit. Thanks for reading.

The only place in Srilanka that I rated less than 3 star is this property! The most loved is the location of the property. It has a spectacular view of the falls where u can get nearby it and see but definitely not allowed to swim or get underneath the falls. Location - 5/5 Value for money - 2/5 Rooms & Amenities - 3/5 Service - 2/5 Food - 3/5 Overall feedback- improve the customer service and optimize the price to ensure great value for money. If the discount rates are provided then this property can be opted without any doubt

if you dont want to stay in ramboda falls hotel don't travel to ramboda . because this hotel is one of the most important items that make your trip different and memorable . i stay two nights in this hotel with a 20 person group . about this hotel : 1- good management . the manager is very hospitably and helpful . nice staff and help is available everywhere and every time 2- very very good view of two waterfalls from rooms and specially from elevator . i think view of rooms in north side is better . 3- nice restaurant with delicense foods . varied range of foods available . the bills in restaurant is a little complicated and the system of that will be improved . they had some mistakes . totally was ok but room numbers in bills had mistake . during the dinner at least 3 times ask the room number and finally make the mistake . restaurant have live music . its good point . dinner is buffet but fruits and BBQ that is more favorite of guests had limitation and have to wait too much to recharged , other thing is more than enough and very nice . breakfast is very complete and including everything . 4- swimming in natural pool near the waterfall is available and great experience 5- billiard is ready if you like 6- path from main road to hotel is a little difficult but they have special car for help , 7- rooms are comfortable and clean totally I recommend this hotel for grope and family accommodation . if you are solo traveler I think here will not be good place because is far from city and too quite for single stay . for next tour absolutely I will use this hotel

Come here for a bottle of water and the view only! It was a beautiful and scenic walk down to the waterfall - west sturdy shoes! Toilets in the reception are clean so use them as opposed to the ones in the restaurant which were horrible. We had food in the restaurant - most items aren’t available only stir-fry and sandwiches. The dirty napkins, waiter picked up a fork from the floor and put it with the clean cutlery. Lime juice was ok but very seedy. Papaya juice was like it had been reused. I had prawn stir fry - very oily and had chicken in there which I found towards then end of eating .. from who’s meal was that from?! 😅

Rooms are nice, we had the one with the most spectacular view to the waterfall. We really loved it! And the sound of it during the night was amazing. Food was delicious. Staff is really nice. Thank you!

Absolutely gorgeous views, excellent food, atmosphere, easy to get to, we stayed at the chalets and they were clean comfortable and had everything you needed... Even some soft blankets.... Beautiful flowers everywhere.... Lovely walks to the waterfall or tucked at the back if the chalet a natural pool.... It was just fantastic.... Only two bad points.... An extra pillow and get the bath sorted please....i just hope they won't get rid of the bath..... It would have been great to have a nice warm bath after a day sight seeing and walking... We will definitely be back.

Wonderful location.. we got family room, enough space for 4. Great Christmas Dinner with plenty of varieties. Enjoyed a lot.

This is a nice place to stay around Ramboda. They have rooms faced to Ramboda lower falls which you can book on request specifying you need room facing the water fall. Great customer service with clean,tidy rooms and tasty food. A different experience.

Came for one day .they treat us like bunch of idiots ,because of they a have function for 400 guest they Serve us lunch on Lower tables without proper tables . Stuff doesn’t have manners to greet people.room quality is poor and smells a lot A great location and a great hotel with poor management

You will not find any other place like this in ramboda - pussellawa area. Hospitality is awesome at this place you wont feel its a hotel. It was my 6th time at the hotel and I will recommend again and again. I know there are some other places to stay newly build but you wont have the beautiful scenery of the two waterfalls (lower ramboda falls and puna falls) in the same view. Also you dont have access to the waterfall basically you can go to the waterfall within 50steps. Its totally worth for the price. Room, cleanliness, staff, food and the view is amazing. Also they take us up (car park) and down (to the hotel) through a van. Try once atleast coz there is no place like this in SL trust me.

We went to the restaurant for lunch. Food was below average and overpriced. All the rice dishes were very dry. Deviled chicken had few chicken pieces and some rice priced at 2000+. Only saving grace is the view that the hotel has. The total bill came up to 20k for 5 pax which and the food was not worth the price at all.

Wonderful hotel with breathtaking view from the room, delicious breakfast and great customer service. Natural pool nearby and the waterfall is few steps away from the hotel. Special thanks goes to Sameera who made our stay so comfortable. Sad to say, dinner we had was not upto the standards.

I had my group of 49pax who stayed here for 01night on fb basis and the experience was amazed everyone. Leading from front office manager to the executive chef to the whole crew who showed us a great gesture from the very first day. The room condition and the food quality was off to the sky. The all three major meals were served as a buffet and it was mind blowing with so many varieties and indulge you to crave more and more. We all had a great experience with the great hospitality venue for the second time. Looking forward to see you all with my next group..!!

Unfortunately our experience was not great. We had to wait for 20mins for a hot chocolate and it turned out to be just milo or something of the sort with milk powder. The club sandwiches came with stale bread and no cheese despite mentioned I the menu. Washrooms were overflowing and not usable.

A great place for a couple of days as a family. Very close to beautiful waterfalls, there is also a place to take a bath in the river. Excellent food and hospitality.

Looking good, i was visited there for only observ the massive water fall behind the hotel. i must say hotel will charge some cash for visiting water fall if you visited there throught hotel's property. Its okay no problem.

Stayed on two different occasions and the view of the waterfall is mesmerizing. The buffet dinner needs a special mention and the baila songs brought back childhood memories. Highly recommend this property. Totally enjoyed walking around - breath taking!

Make sure you double check the prices as they charged a higher price for the buffet eventhough the communicated price was different. Great view at the restaurent though. Amazing location. Food can improve.

Nice picturesque views nearby. You can swim in a small waterfall if you want. Rooms in a hotel spacious and have air conditioning, safe, couch, hot water and bath accessories. Wi-Fi didn't work and during the day it wasn't fixed. Dinner was poor. There is a pool table and darts in common area, but actually there is not much to do. You should be aware of monkeys and not to keep balcony open, because they can intrude your room and steal something. Overall it's a place to spend one night just to enjoy beautiful views.

I was there only for lunch, the buffet was good and the staff were very kind. You can have lunch and after make a 1km hike to the falls incredible views ❤

Wonderful place. Very nice and beautiful views. I like the way they handled their customers. Specially Reception ( Miss Pavithra and Mr. Suranga) All other staff is excellent and they are giving wonderful service. Strongly and highly recommending for everybody.

Great view of waterfals. We stoopped there for lunch only. The food is good. We even found gulasch. Not many places in SriLanka can cook meat well. The way to the restsurant is a steep slope so make sure the vehicle can yake you all the way to the enterace and back.

Hi all Honestly it was a great stay at Ramboda falls on Vesak day with very close ambience to nature and wonderful Ramboda falls.. We had a chance to stay at Waterfall view room with all the facilities. Room was spacious, Hospitality is great n very humble, food tastes well but not that variety were available.., enjoyed their natural water pool which is at the back side of the Hotel. Price wise it’s not over priced.. All went fine! Thank you!

We came just for the restaurant and views; we didn’t stay the night. Gorgeous views and the food was delicious!

Very attractive place, very good service, very good place to spend holidays with family.

They have a shuttle service from the entrance to the main building which is super cool considering that it's location. Friendly staff and a beautiful location. You can also go down to a stream nearby and have a bath as well.

I didn't went for a stay but i do went to access to view the water falls its very beautiful location with wonderful hospitality i love the place

We went for lunch and took briyani friedrice and club sandwich. The rice was not good . Cannot eat properly but we spend more than 20000. The food is not worth for the price . This is not a recommended hotel . Worst experience. But the view was awsm. Please go and see the view but don’t try the food there .
