Superb Ayurvedic treatment and delicious local food. I had an Ayurvedic treatment with the Ayurvedic doctor who is the owner of the villa and it was superb. He has about 30 years of experience and one can tell. The massage, the Aloe Vera extract, the Sri Lankan Sauna and the shower with extracts from plants were all very good. It was a great experience and much needed after visiting the busy and traffic packed Kandy. The location of the villa is a bit outside Kandy, which is perfect to disconnect, relax and load batteries. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the wifi worked nicely. Interestingly, the shower was on a natural rock which was accommodated to sit down and relax. The food was abundant and simply delicious. Overall, it was a great experience!

Great Ayurvedic treatment in a beautiful villa. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night and we had a great experience. We took a 2-hour Ayurvedic treatment, which included an amazing massage with extract coming from Aloe Vera leafs (the leafs came straight from the garden of the villa) and a traditional Sri Lankan sauna. We really liked it. It was super relaxing. That night we slept like babies! The villa is beautifully decorated and the food we had for breakfast and dinner was really good. All in all, we highly recommend this place!

Good economical place for someone looking to stay away from Kandy town. Owner is a doctor. Manager and care taker were also so friendly. Spacious room with AC and hot water. Other 2 rooms were also ok though no AC. Hela Bojun is situated close by, so we took breakfast and dinner from Hela Bojun

Nice comfy rooms, traditional spa, cool, tropical climate made the experience at Rockwood villa amazing!

It's a clam place with full of positive energy. You can have Ayurvedic treatment if you wish and also there is a light therapy in every room for treat your depressed mind. My favourite part was stone based bathroom. There's a pleasant doctor too.. 🌻🌻 Hope to visit every month here. ❤️ Prices are not high.
